I am unable to send MMS messages with my nexus. It gets stuck at "sending". I am able to receive MMS messages. I have full signal and I've tried clearing data and cache, rebooted a number of times and it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Is there any idea how to fix this? When I start an MMS and then select a picture the message closes, gets put in to drafts, I get sent to the today screen and when I open the message back up the picture isn't there, so back to square one.
I'm running 1.40 WWE and radio version 1.13.00 on an T-Mobile MDA III.
(I'm sorry if this was posted before. I had tried searching but was unable to come up with anything.)
Could this be happening because I restored a previous backup from sprite?
After a hard reset I am able to make an mms message no problem, after I restore my backup with sprite I run in to the same problem.
And after I restore, and I go to MMS settings / Server - the phone freezes up..and I have to restart it..sometimes when I restart it will hard reset.
Hellow all,
I flashed the Edhaas base ROM yesterday and finished setting MMS message. But after soft reseting the deviece, the MMS message in Messaging was missing. I checked the setting in registry and all the settings about the MMS message are there. How can I have the MMS message appeared again? Thanks!
Hi guys,
When I reboot my phone it always sends 1 or 2 messages which I had send before to my contacts. The messages were already deliverd and by that not a failure so why does it send those again when I reboot my device?
Thanks alot!
Hello,
I am having issues with my HTC Wildfire running 2.2.1 Froyo (SUnAaBh v1.1 ROM) sending and recieving Multi Media Messages (MMS).
I recently went over to this ROM from Stock for various reasons and it was since then that this issue has arised
I've spoken to my Network Provider O2UK and have got the correct settings for PAYG.
Sadly whenever I try to send or recieve a MMS, I get the following error message 'Unable to Send - Generic Network Failure' or 'Unable to Download - Generic Network Failure'.
I've tried the usual, remove and re-add APN Settings with reboot inbetween, no difference.
Mobile Internet works fine, its just MMS
I am hoping someone out there knows the solution.
Many thanks
Jason
It helped me when I changed authentication type to PAP in mms apn settings.
tapatalked from HTC wildfire
Error message: Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
Problem: Pops up constantly.
Another popup keeps showing up too, and started about the same time as this one. "Currently unable to download. Try again later."
I have tried all the steps suggested on google. I have cleared caches, rebooted, gone into safe mode, etc..
I have called tech support. It all leads to a factory reset. The problem with that is I haven't been able to backup my sms/mms texts.
Anytime, I open the text app, as soon as I clear the error message the texts app shuts down. Additionally, anytime I try to backup data either to the cloud or otherwise it quits as soon as it starts.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I really want to save my texts. I would appreciate it more than words can say.
TIA
