I have the stable cm7.2 but i want the nightly. Do i factory reset and all that again? Or just install the zip via cwm directly? Also, does the method apply for all ROMs? Awaiting your answers.

Thank you very much. I'll try it out and tell you what happens.
I think I will stick to CM 7.1.0 for some time before trying RunnyDroid.

A whole 7 minutes to go from trying it to won't bother?
Very simple, just follow the steps in post and ready, now more than has the graphical installer. : P
I don't know, I'll backup my CM ROM then try it.
1 question though, how long will it take to do this?

Tried it so many times...
Also find out that there is no way to install a working recovery but only CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.6 through a recovery script..
So i've unziped the script..
The only difference is that before flash it uses :
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

You cant use it by sdk.
Make a nandroid backup in recovery before trying anything.
Download the rom check if your s-off make à backup af all you can and in recovery make an other backup then
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache
wipe dalvik cache
Install zip from sd card
Found your rom and install
Reboot, enjoy
A thread tuto there http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23427226

CWM, not CM
ok do this:
Start your phone
then press your power off button for 2 seconds
choose restart
then choose recovery
your phone will boot to recovery
go to backup and restore
choose backup
wait till it finished
restart your phone
Oh sorry about that.
Thanks
