Nice find dude!!!

I can't figure out how to add these as my dock icons. I'm using launcher products plus. I find them in astro file manager, but then I don't know how to set them as my dock icons....

I am using Go Launcher. I just tap and hold on a app and press Replace and locate all the icons in my gallery in my SD Card.

Just save it anywhere on SD card. Long press on icon you want to change, hit replace, choose custom icon, then either file explorer or gallery, and choose the icon your looking for.
Nice, thanks for sharing!

I take it you have to edit the APK to do it with stock launcher?

Icon Finder Search Engine

While on my quest to find a better chrome icon I came across this awesome website.
http://www.iconfinder.com
For those of you who don't know about it, it's a search engine for icons. Just type in "message" or whatever and it will bring up a bunch of images you can download.
You can download the png format and use it in apex or Nova as your icon image. Or better yet if you're a developer you could use it to actually change the icon.
Here are some I found and thought were pretty neat.

how do you change the Icon after I download it ?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
The easiest way is to use a 3rd party launcher like apex or Nova. You just long press the icon on your home screen and select "edit".

If you have root, you can try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&hl=en
I've used it to change my signal icon and it worked.
I use Icon Changer and Desktop Visualiser...
Icon changer actually makes an icon for the app with your chosen pic (so you can move it to the dock). It'll let you change the name, as well as a few other settings like rounding corners and contrast and whatnot.
Desktop Visualiser is a widget. You can use it to make any size icons you want, with custom pics and names. There is a demo video in the play store you can watch to show you how to use it and the other features it and it's addons have.
Hope that helps

Use a different launcher like nova or adw that let's you swap out icons or use an app like anycut, bettercut or desktop visualizer.

Use Quick Shortcut Maker. I use it all the time. Create the shortcut in an open spot on your homescreen, and then just drag and drop it where you want. Your OP shows the phone icon, so if you want that you can install icon packs for other launchers like Nova, Apex, etc., and then when you create the shortcut, just pick from the icon pack you have that has the one you want. It works great. The best way I found is to use the widget version. You can use the app itself, but sometimes it doesn't create the icon. Instructions for both are included on the app page on Google Play.

Enjoy!
Thank You. Desktop visualizer works perfect.
