You can use mini commander on the phone to access all the internal files of the phone. its a java version..
mini commander sounds interessting.

I had a good play with TkFileExplorer. It should be able to connect with the Wave, but I was not able to make a connection stick.
TkFileExplorer isn't very friendly in terms of how to set it up, but I was able to get it to at least try and connect to the phone. However it times out afterwhile, and you see there's a new drive letter P:. But it disappears from TkFileExplorer as soon as you click ok on the error message screen.
I tried connecting it in Kies mode and also usb debugging mode. Still not sure which one it's supposed to be set to. But I did find some posts for older Samsung phones where they connected in PC Studio mode.
I'm going to try again on another computer as I think the usb drivers and such might be conflicting.
It might help to know what the COM settings are that WaveBackup and sTune use to connect to the phone. I've been leaving all the settings at default but there might be some trickery that needs to occur.

Oh, sorry, you're right. Something must have gone wrong with the upload. I've fixed that now, so just download it again from my homepage (can't put external links here yet).
Version 1.0.12 of WaveBackup is up since a few days. I have done some smaller changes to stop annyoing owners of Wave II and 723 with that long error-message when connecting. Another change is that sizes of folders will be displayed now in explorer view, when the complete folder tree has been fetched. I've also fixed a few bugs.
Oh, and last but not least: Files can be copied now to the phone in explorer view (but still restricted to some special folders (<Appid>/Data for example)
I still can't post in the other bada board here, where the 'real' WaveBackup Thread can be found, so i hope everyone there sees this too!

I found a "new" version of TkFileExplorer - 2.4, it works fine with my Wave. TkFileExplorer is able to delete or rename folders and it is more stable than sTune.

But it works OK, and you can install LOW rsrc2 so you don't need to change the debuglevel. It seems to be faster, there are preinstalled widgets and they works. Twitter and Facebook in Social hub works but the apps are missing. Pretty much everythig works.
Alright I installed it and have to say I like it, no crashes yet and overall it`s faster than KH3. If you move the camera it seems to be faster too. Widgets are also working. There are 4 widgets in total: Calendar, Analog clock, Date and time widget and weather widget)
How come, samfirmware were allowed to release another Beta-ROM? I thought they were scared to do that since Samsung put pressure on them. Or is it a final ROM? Why would Vodafone even bother bringing out some Beta-ROM?

They just said they are watched by Sammy and that they'll step back, nothing about beeing actually under pressure.
Either way: the new ROM is blaaazzzzing fast.
Restore functionality from KIES now works for me for everything except apps. (though several restores in a row may crash the phone).

I don't have much experience with Bada 1.2, but check the RSRC1 file (and the language setting file in CSC, of course). You'll find everything you need in there. For RTL languages though, I don't know.

Wave Remaker opens and writes those (Bada 1.2 RC1 and CSC), too, but I'm not sure wether these (edited RC1 and CSC) are ok to flash. I have never tried (flashing) myself, and I suggest you ask forum member xsycox for more info on that. He's the one with the most experience in doing Bada 1.2 CFWs. I also had a look over his CFW files in the past, and it doesn't look like his RC1 is edited, but the CSC seems to be.

I have done some Bada 1.2 modifications myself in the past, but never tested it due to an unfortunate experiment (that shouldn't have gone wrong at all) in the recent past and most probably never will. I have flashed my M210 to wave II firmware not it works untill the phone goes to stand by mode, once it is into standby mode you can't unlock or wake it up from the dark screen..

Firstly, i downloaded both the firmware and the downaloder 6.67
Flashed by selected the files appropriatly
all files successfully flashed successfully except the boot files...
i have to change them with other bootfiles from wave 2 firmware and it was flashed then
but after still is the same problem
it just doean't wake up after it goes into sleep mode ....

M210S is different as S8530...
TDMB...
If this is no Software feature so maybe few Chips different... maybe little tiny differences in Hardware...
I think you need back BOOTFILES from M210S...

Which i gave firmware it is full firmware and bootfiles is in inside
Sometimes Bootloader change is not more easy possible... during Security...
So it could be IMPOSSIBLE with Multiloader alone to jump back to Original M210S Boot...
One Hardcore way would be repair with JTAG...

Yes its not happening with multi loader, tried almost a dozelian times.
I don't know anything about JTAG

I have forgotten to copy dbl.mbn into folder...
That Boot Change also work only with 1 file...

Wave 3 aka S8600 is COMPLETE different.
S8530 and M210S are similar... minor differences in Hardware...
S8500 is in this "Family Group"...
Simple check only folder BOOTFILES...
2 files for S8500,S8530,M210S:

Also I have removed some Security with TriX...

Bootloader I have taken from XXLA1 DBT...
