well 1 of them would have to be the UI.
it looks so much better.
another thing would be the launcher, chrome app, the taskswitcher, everything really.
p.s dont say thanks to me click the thanks button instead.

They probably are still trying to lessen the attention for the PLAY, otherwise they have no valid reason to not include the driver update

sure I read that a 3.0 Linux kernel is needed for new drivers and SE are not releasing a 3.0 kernel.

Is it possible to port the Adreno 205 drivers to GB?

As title states, is it possible to port the drivers to GB? I thought I read somewhere on this forum about it (not saying it said it was possible or not) but wasnt able to find it, and yes I used the search function.
i think there's one thread about the adreno library,
but porting it to GB only resulting on slower performance,
so.. ICS only...
Impossible. Simple as that
Why would you need the drivers is the phone not reconizing the GPU?

Because he is refering to newer drivers for ICS which give higher performance (30-50% +).
As far as i read there ARE devices with GB and those drivers (Samsung and Huawei, dont know which ones exactly yet).
So are you sure it's impossible? Maybe it's just a matter of proper kernel integration.

Adreno 2xx User-mode Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Graphics Driver (ARMv7) (early sample)

Found this on Qdev (Qualcomm dev site).
From the description on the website:
"This release contains an early sample of the user-mode driver binaries for Qualcomm's Adreno 2xx GPU on Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It has been tested with the CAF release M8960AAAAANLGD105210.1 and supports any Adreno 2xx GPU on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This release is intended only for developers that work on Jelly Bean bring-up work. It is an early release sample which will be replaced by a new driver binary in the future."
I have the zip but its not in flash able form yet.
Thought that they might be useful.

Lol, I don't know what's going on around here. We had source for 4.0.4 for weeks before anybody found out. We got to get more on the ball!
Just read a post in the qdev forums dating Nov 19. Qualcomm will be updating these drivers "soon".
Will keep an eye out and post any update.

If memory serves me right, I remember reading somewhere here that believe these sample drivers are already included within the CM10 ROMS for the T989 & T727. I think these were included some time ago and were required to help JB function more smoothly on these devices. This aligns nicely to the sample drivers initial availability back in August.
Anybody chime in if I m out of line.
Not to be a downer but I would imagine if graphics drivers were out then the cm team would know about it. I doubt these are anything new. Or groundbreaking.

These drivers have been included from a long time ago.
We are waiting for an update from Qualcomm for adreno 2xx
How is this thread news??? These drivers have existed from August???
And yes they are buggy. At least on Pyramid...

Did the subject of the post claim to be news? No.
I just happened upon these on qdev but later ascertained that these were dated in august and thus, irrelevant.
There was a recent post in Qualcomm forums that hinted at an upcoming driver update but has not materialized yet.
Fail... lrn2read.
Also the extra question marks are unnecessary. Unless you are actually trying to portray yourself as a pedantic 12 year old.

Nd We Also Feel That Broadcom Is So Big CompanY and cant Help Help A Single Phone ?
So Many Users Signed Lets See What Broadcom Says
I thinK TheY will Change There DecisioN.
As 10000 Is Not a small number
Haha
It just seems like it's so simple. Will have to go from reverse engineering, something that is not simple ... haha there's a lot behind the drivers, which complicates a reverse engineering as well. I do not think Alcatel has compiled, but the broadcom for Alcatel.

Well the drivers (I pressume) are the drivers which they had uploaded earlier on MadTeam forum. XDA had posted an article earlier that Broadcom has released drivers for Galaxy Y(Regarding the drivers which were uploaded on MadTeam)
My point is that, Softpedia might have uploaded the drivers on their page without knowing the background story (i.e.. that the drivers are utterly useless).
Hope if someone could test it out and report. For me, I do not own a Galaxy Y anymore, so it is impossible for me to test it out.
Current Broadcom are concentrating on releasing mid range devices with Samsung and few Chinese companies with no scope of getting a stable Cyanogenmod.
I doubt that Broadcom will ever release the drivers.
