Just got my GSM gnx today. Found something strange with back button on xda app, after I finished reading a thread, the back button took me back to xda app loading page instead the section I was in. Anyone else has this problem?

Its happened to me with every android device I've owned. Most often when resuming the app after using another application.
Most likely its reloading the app instead of force closing it.

For me, the best working solution is to press multitasking button and swipe away all the apps.

Thats what i did too
At first i tried to open my music, it opened my google voice instead :/ but thats the temporarily solution i suppose :/
This has not gone away. Even if I try to access messaging from the app drawer or recent app list it doesn't work. Hitting back cycles through other apps, does not help. The only way to access messaging is through the people app or through a notification.

Try rebooting it?
Like someone said, swipe away all the recent apps.

Does that happen after you haven't used the app for a while, you re enter it and see that you are on the last thread you read ..so you press back button to go back to the main menu and the app closes ??? If yes ..happens to me too always had that problem since ICS thought it was normal .

On stock browser when I hit back arrow it stays on same page most of time sometimes I have to hit it 4-5 times real fast so it will go back has anyone else had this.

Maybe it because the page you were visiting was redirected to the mobile version by the host, so when you hit the back button it would take you back redirected to the mobile version.

I came across this and I think it has to do with ads being shown inside of iframes. I do have blocked ads so it can possibly be related to them being blocked.
That's what I was thinking it could be the ads thanks.

On ICS I don't remember it being like this.

I've had this problem when you back into a redirect, could be that!

If you get this and it is caused by a web page redirect then you can long press on the back button to show the browser history, allowing you to move back to any point.
This is my first post and my first Android phone, so please be gentle. I am coming over from iPhone. So I am using the N-7100 on Straight Talk. I am "loosing" my data connection randomly and only when opening apps. Like if I open the play store or chrome it will say "no connection" and have a button to try again. I'll click the button and It'll work. Is this normal and I'm just anal?

I received by note 3 2 days ago and some of my apps keep force closing. Has anybody else run into this issue? I'm currently all stock

I've been running into the same issue mines all stock as well. It happens randomly and just becomes a blue screen, the only way I get out of it is to restart my phone.

I've had tons of freezing issues, on the lock screen, force closes with apps and unresponsive home button. I'm on my second Note 3 and starting to think it's poor execution of software. If it helps, I disabled my magazine and a bunch of samsung apps. If you are in app launcher and click and hold an app you can 'disable' it and essentially works the same as Titanium Backup Freeze method (without rooting ofcourse).
I've found that to help a bit. I don't know if the lock screen freezing was due to the s view case just yet. But I'm trying to hold out getting a third replacement if I can.

So you were able to have your phone replaced because of this issue? Was it through T-Mobile or Samsung?
