before flashing any of the roms, did you do a wipe of the cache and dalvik? if so, did you try installing them a couple of times, just to make sure the phone got the install correctly? and if so, have you tried a factory reset?
That's strange, have you tried the EI22 modem? If that doesn't fix it, try using an app like Sanity to control when your speakerphone is on and off... it might be able to force speakerphone off when you pick up a call.

You can try updating your profile and prl under system updates.Sometimes they get lost when you flash a new build. You should also check and make sure you're running the newest radio, baseband should be 2.15.00.7.28.

I've looked all over,no dice.Best advice I can give you is to try and fix it by wiping everything and reinstalling the ROM.

[EDIT] FIXED: I called sprint to see if there was anything on their side, knowing that they'd deny anything. Got the standard tech runaround (remove battery etc) and oddly enough, the removal (1min) of the battery did the trick. I can now see signal bars and have 3g back. Sigh
[/EDIT]
this seems oddly similar to what i'm experiencing. my signal cuts in and out from 4/6 bars to none with an X. I had this issue on the latest fresh, CM6, and now the latest Baked snack.
I don't have working data at all (except for wifi). Have reflashed and rebooted multiple times to no avail.
Does anyone have any issues with their phone not auto connecting to Bluetooth devices, like a car radio? I am on Juggernaut 5 with the stock kernel and I cannot get this phone to auto connect with my car.

Hmm I tried Digital Warfare and still no dice.
I think I remember seeing an app that will try to autoconnect to a device if it is in range.. does anyone know what this is called?
I don't know what the problem is, but I am running Darkside Digital Warfare and have no problems at all with auto-connecting.
I get in the car, crank it up, and after a couple of seconds my music starts playing from where it left off when I got out of the car last. I don't even have to restart my music player. It auto-starts. Phone calls work flawlessly as well.
@op
Did u try fixing permissions?
Do a backup, wipe data/factory reset then fix permissions and test with ur phone back to default, if it works,
Go back to CWM, advanced restore, restore data,
Then fix permissions and clear cache xD
*EDIT
Uwill have to re-sync to ur device, once synced just reboot with it
Synced/connected, should reconnect automaticly.
@above dude
U have no input, but decided to post anyway with no relative information?
Why exactly? OP already clarified he used DW, with no dice, what was the purpose exactly?

I was letting him know that it is not the fault of the ROM that he can't auto-connect. Why don't you mind your own F'n business.

Actually your post did help, it may be my car headunit (although it did work when I had my Samsung Epic 4G), so it's definitely not the ROM.. I'll review in a little bit.
Thanks

Well obviously its not the fault of the rom, or I'm sure it would b a known issue and be in the bugs list on its forum page. And I can't "mind my own business" cuz when someone posts an actual question, and I try to post a helpful response, morons like u come on just to get a post more or less and get the whole purpose thrown off, so
"Go mind your own F'n business" and post relevant data. Ok?

Woohoo! Back on topic xD sorry for above (apoligizing to u OP not moron up there)
And yes, u are correct, permissions should definitely be in order then..
Try the above statement, should take 10min max and wont lose data, if that doesn't work, try pairing ur devices to something else then back again, what were u trying to pair to exactly? A car dock?
**EDIT
When u flashed the new rom, did u wipe everything? (system, data, cache, dalvik, then factory reset in no particular order)
Then install? Or.. cuz if not then.
It could b as simple as that lmao xD

Yes I wiped the phone, as well as used DW's built-in wipe flag. I had this same issue on Juggernaut, and any other SGS2 rom I've used from here. I haven't tried stock yet, but eh I don't want to go to stock
I'm pairing directly to my car's headunit.. 2011 Subaru Forester.

Hmm.. havent really used the roms here so can't really offer many suggestions on that sense..
Are you 2.3.5? Or 2.3.6?
Did u try reflashing stock bluetooth files for your build? This really is weird then..
And you've tryed my suggestion a few posts up I take it?
Try clearing data for bluetooth apps under settings if the above fail miserably:
Goto SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>manage applications, and hit all tab, I think only
Bcrmbluetoothservices and bluetooth share have data though.

Sent you a PM.. no go.
While I am in a call up to my ear, not speakerphone, I can hear the other person perfectly. However, they cannot hear me.
If I go to speakerphone they can hear me.
I am running s3rx 4.1.1
Update flashed back to stock using odin and still no luck. They can hear me on speakerphone but not when it is by my ear.....
I'm assuming this was not an issue until flashed this rom.
Did you come from a full wipe? Have you tried wiping a reflashing to see if this corrected the issue?
If you've done all the troubleshooting you can, post the issue and your fix attempts in the ROMs thread. Cheers

It was dirt, I stuck one of my girlfriends earring in the mic hole and it works.
So a friend of mine updated his G3 to lollipop and he's facing two main issues:
Settings isn't opening at all. It FC's right when you open it
Messages app also force closes many times
the most annoying problem: Alarm if set, phone only vibrates no matter even if sound is set to full.
And force closes of apps frequently.
Can you borrow his phone and reflash everything with a fresh download from one of the XDA threads? Perhaps it was a bad flash?

He didn't flash, he updated OTA and I think I can, he's pretty busy person though.
Was looking for a more easy solution.
Yeah well it still has some degree of flashing I think. Just try a factory reset to stay on the safe side. Then alternately try reflashing. A factory reset shouldn't take longer than 10 minutes.

Just take out the SD card. I dont think it would. I haven't had this phone for long but I dont see why it would do that. It hasn't for any of my other phones.

I meant the internal sd card. I also don't see why it should but you never know what OEMs do
I recently flashed an FM Radio app on my Note 3 (rooted SM-N900T w/CM 12.1), flashed without issue but ever since then I do not have sound through my earpiece. I am unable to take calls unless I use a headset or use the speakerphone. I have already wiped and reflashed, not only CM 12.1 again, but have also done a full factory reset and flashed stock as well but the problem persists. Anyone have a clue to get the sound back in the earpiece? This is driving me up the wall!

Not sure if you've resolved the issue yet, but I'll try to help if you haven't. You could try formatting everything in recovery instead of just wiping. Format all except your external sd of course, and then try to flash a ROM. If that doesn't work you'll probably need to use Odin to flash stock firmware and re-root and so forth. That should definitely clear up the issue if simply formatting and flashing a ROM doesn't work.
For future reference, do not flash any FM apps. It probably messes up the drivers and the apps won't work correctly for us at the moment regardless. Our N900T has an FM chip but it's not active at the moment. However, our team is currently trying to find a driver to get it functioning.

Hello and thank you for the reply, this issue is still very much unresolved so your help is much appreciated! I have already tried using Odin to flash stock firmware to no avail, the problem still persists, however I will certainly try formatting everything in recovery and hopefully that'll clear things up, that didn't even dawn on me to try. Thank you for the suggestion, I will report back my results here. And absolutely will NOT be flashing any FM apps in the near future!

Ah man... that doesn't sound good if Odin didn't fix it. No pun intended. Lol
Yeah hopefully formatting will do the trick. If not it almost seems like a hardware issue and the speaker actually went out. Using Odin and stock firmware should flash back all the correct drivers.

I had such high hopes for the formatting but unfortunately it did not work. I formatted everything in recovery and used Odin to reinstall stock but the problem persists. I can't imagine the FM app killing the earpiece as it worked prior to flashing the F'n thing but I guess I'm stuck to using a headset! If you have any other suggestions let me know. :good:
