Yeah...sorry about that I've paid for it too...just did this as a personal use rom and then thought of sharing it...so I forgot about it
I will fix this ASAP!
PS: Anyone else who can't buy root explorer can use the other app "ROOT Browser" from addon.apps!!

Man, The rom was finally built about 2 days ago, so I can't really comment about battery life since today I'm recalibrating...
What I can say is that after 2 days I've still had 44% at board, though I've charghed it a couple of minutes here and there...
I've also received my 1650 mAh Galaxy Plus battery now, so after the battery testing, I will be putting that in !
@everyone: Thanks for your support! I see now that it was worth it to cook this ROM more and more everyday, to bring you a nice stable release, instead of releasing 2 or 3 versions a day, each with little changes..
mine gave up after 2h and 10min of screen on discharging from 60% (but using a lot of 3g data since someone borrowed my wi-fi router)
i use to make phone calls just 30 mins a day
usually anything higher than 3h is good, 3:30h very good, 4h insanse (from 100%)

Really exciting - Wish you include a one thing in your next release, extended controls with the Jet ICS Theme - I have tried an ICS theme with extended control, but the theme over all is kinda glitchy and not classy as Jet's, I think that's needed over here, to change lockscreens for example, and edit the status bar etc. It'd be a killer to include that
@Ensifolk, can you point me into a direction of where I can find that? (extended controls). I use extended controls on my phone but...it isn't a paid app? I think I bought it...because it appears in "Not Installed" tab in market after every flash. I don't remember though )
For lockscreen I use "WidgetLocker". The reason I didn't include 16+Lockscreens though is that I don't really know how to integrate that into the ROM. From what i've read it requires to edit the settings.apk. I will keep searching...maybe someone more "evaluated" from xda can help me...One thing is sure: It will be included in next release!
The same reason is that I can't edit the status bar...I don't know how to do those things yet...maybe someone will help me. If not, I will find a way myself...but it will take alot more time

@dkreventon as you were on the testing process...I've told you that I don't face the same error. But maybe others do..I really don't know if it's your unit's fault or my ROM...
Have you reconsidered a reinstall? Or at least cleaning Camera Data?

- I recommend my Talon SH Kernel cuz is heavily optimised for my ROM. But for basic users that wants a stable and fast system the included SpeedMod Kernel is better!

- Extract it, u'll find into it Odin 1.82, the ROM and the PIT file
- Load in Odin the ROM as PDA
- Load the PIT file
- Enable Repartition
- Start flashing and wait until it finishes
- It will boot into recovery, then select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
- When finished select REBOOT NOW

You can still follow the same procedure as from Froyo if you want to do a very clean install or follow this small guide:
- Download the LIGHT VERSION CWM
- Put into your internal memory (root folder, no folder)
- Go into recovery and Install the Zip

HOW TO MOVE INTO CWM RECOVERY:
- Volume Up/Down ----> Move Up/Down
- Power Button -----> Select/Press
HOW TO CHANGE THE CSC WITH YOUR COUNTRY CODE:
- Into the DIALER write *#272*XXXXXXXXXXXX# where X series is your IMEI (show the IMEI with *#06#)
- Select your country CODE
- Click on INSTALL
- Wait until it reboots and it do a wipe (automatically)
- Do the first boot
- Enjoy!
HOW TO RECALIBRATE YOUR BATTERY (by heartagramm):
COMPLETE GUIDE!!!
You'll have to use the phone for about 1-4 days (although it varies depending on the phone and battery used; every phone is an individual). It runs out of battery. Yes. Let it run. Recharge. After 3-4 recharges the battery will "gain" it's performance back.
After 3-4 full charge/full drain -cycles, do the following:
1. Charge the battery up to fullest.
2. Keep it plugged in to charger, and reboot to recovery.
3. On the recovery, go advanced, wipe battery stats, scroll on to yes BUT Don't wipe them yet. When you're ready, quickly remove the battery cable and push to wipe the battery stats.
4. Reboot the phone, use normally. Let it run completely out of battery.
5. Charge the phone back to full. Turn off phone. Charge until it says 100% on the green bar and vibrates for full charge.
6. The Important Part. Remove the charge cable for 0-0.5 seconds and plug it back in instantly. Let it charge to 100% again. Do this 1-2 times again, so you've done this 2-3 times total.
7. Reboot to recovery, wipe the battery stats again as on the step 3.
8. After wiping the battery stats, plug the charger back in the phone.
9. Reboot to ROM. Keep the cable plugged in. Keep it plugged in for about 30 mins to 2 hrs. Unplug. Should say 100%, mine did for about 40 mins after it depleted onto 99%.
And this is the way you should really gain great battery performance.

HOW TO ENABLE/DISABLE LAGFIX: go into recovery> advanced speedmod ulfk> convert all to ext4
LOCKSCREENs EXPLAINED
4tab Lockscreen and MIUI explained :
The upper right tab / right handle (MIUI) has to be set using the new 'Lockscreen menu' in settings
You can set it to launch anything (folder shortcut or any application ) I personally set it to messaging ( SMS application).
If you dont associate the tab with something it will soft reboot the phone when you use the tab
Both lockscreens will share the same 'custom setting'
Lockscreen Music Controls explained :
Aosp - Rotary - MIUI - R2D2 - 4tab : Music controls will work with ANY music player except the stock samsung one
SGS2 - Epic - Glass - Puzzle : Music controls will only work with the stock samsung music player
Just want to point out that double tapping the lock (MIUI) will bring up music controls, cool feature and that MIUI works with Pandora !!!
SGSII lockscreen known issues :
Lockscreen Wallpaper can be set, but cannot be unset. This is because the Galaxy S 2 uses a different Gallery Application. To remove the Lockscreen Wallpaper and revert automatically to the default Wallpaper, delete this file
/data/data/com.cooliris.media/files/zzzzzz_lockscreen_wallpaper.jpg

The new script is wipe for who come from SH <3.3 and from Froyo/GB!
It doesn't do wipe if you're running SH 3.5+ ROMs! Very Simple and automatic!

No it's not possible cause CWM 3.0 doesn't work for flashing Modems, Kernels and Complete ROMs....
Use the SpeedMod Kernel to be always sure....
CWM 3 is only good (for now) to flash update packages, themes and addons!

Make sure you DO NOT CHECK AUTO REBOOT INTO ODIN!!
Then use 3 button combo to go into CWM!

Can I just flash from CWM From any ROM (I am in Darky's 10 RC5.3) or should I go back to JVK/JVB and flash ?

I'm afraid not, since touchwiz connects with framework, you would get bootloop. Unless theme says it's compatible with the tw4

it seems pretty good rom.
I was using simple honey 3.1 with GTO 7 beta kernel.
I flashed twice the rom via cwm and cannot get the fugu kernel to work.it still says gto 7.
Any suggestions?

At the begining I would like to say that this is my virgin rom, not only for i9000 but of all, so please give me some credit. I apreciate every opinion as long as it's not insulting. Besides, I decided to cook this rom for my self, with options that I use mainly, but of course, every advice will be taken into consideration. Why such name for the rom? Simply, I love all kinds of jellybeans, and similar sweets

FAQ:
Q. How can I convert partitions to Ext4?
A. If you want to convert partitions to EXT4, firstly you have to change kernel for this operation as Galaxian encounters some bug and is not mounting SD for some reason. Secondly, you should use ext4 tools by Chainfire which are built in the rom.
Q. How to turn on the CRT animation?
A. You have to turn on all animations in Display settings.
Q. Rom is not booting or working incorrectly, what should I do??
A. If you have been running any other custom rom based on JVS, then You HAVE TO perform full wipe!
Q. How to change lockscreen?
A. Go to Settings\Lockscreen menu\Lockscreen Settings and choose one in Lockscreen style option. Attention!! Lockscreen settings in Theme.apk apply only to JKay's lockscreen!! Others won't work!
Q. How to edit Power menu options?
A. Go to Theme Settings and choose options under Phone options dialog position. If you want to disable the title in Power menu, uncheck Phone options title.

I'll take a look.
I added new version of the v2 rom, as the previous upload had a bug in updater-script. This one is a correct No Wipe version, wipes only system & cache.

Because no one managed to port more lockscreens for JVS, as it has changed framework-res.apk and some other jar files. I could try if Apk Tool was working correctly with framework-res.apk on my laptop.

MIUI MINTBERRY TRANSLATION PROJECT
Since MIUI Minberry is growing up and every day more users start to run it as main firmware we're ready for the next step: provinding MIUI experience in every language
So one user for language will be the weekly deliver of a language pack which will be available via OTA.
How to do so easily?
With this simple guide:
Download latest traslation pack or translated ROM from your MIUI national team
Extract framework-res.apk from /system/framework and every apk from /system/app except for Miliao.apk, MIUIStats.apk, TelocationProvider.apk, Updater.apk
Download MintBerry Translation Template
Add to our template the extracted apks in their proper folders (framework-res.apk to /system/framework and all the others to /system/app)
Rename the zip package replacing release with the number of the release (e.g. 1.11.11) and NATIONALITY with your country code (e.g. EN)
Upload translated zip package to http://multiupload.com (every other site will work aswell)
PM me the link and I'll add it to OTA service
So, if you feel to help us and every other mintberry user PM me with:

And you'll recieve the upcoming release like beta-testers.

Q) I'm having bootloops/hanging on boot since I've flashed 1.12.25 (or following releases)! What can I do?
A) Since 1.12.25 the base kernel of MIUI Mintberry has been changed to FuguMod as it provides best performance and battery life. Though it uses a different partition map than other kernels so it requires a one-time-only procedure to set your phone up.
Get Fugumod kernel and latest Mintberry available
Place both in your SDCARD
Reboot into recovery
Flash Fugumod
Reboot into recovery
Wipe Data / Factory reset (this will delete all apps and data, do a backup with Titanium or else if you need those)
Format /system
Flash latest Mintberry
Reboot
From now on you can flash without any problem every Mintberry release. If you have to change kernel follow the same steps with the chosen one.
Q) I have autobrightness issues! Screen is always at highest (or lowest) brightness
A) Apparently something went wrong during installation procedure. Flash the ROM again to get rid of that bug (Wipe Cache after flashing to be sure)
Q) You wrote on Open Post that this ROM supports 9 languages but I can't find them!
A) MIUI Mintberry is strongly connected with a great app developed here on XDA: App Manager. It provides many useful features to take advantage of root privileges.
One great feature is ROMManager which let you to download directly on your phone flashable zip packages provided by us, such as Language Packs.
So to get them (and ROM updates when available) follow these steps:
1. Open App Manager
2. Tap on ROM Manager
3. Select MIUI Mintberry EDITION
4. Click on language pack for your current MIUI version
5. Tap on Download
6. When Download is finished, reboot into recovery
7. Flash it from /sdcard/romtoolbox/download/MIUI_mintberry

Q) I see a green tint when the display is dimming.
A) This issue appears when mixing punchy settings on Voodoo Color with low brightness levels. Please, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings/Personal/Display Settings
2. Set Automatic brightness ON
3. Tap on Advanced mode
4. Switch "Use custom" ON
5. Tap on "Light level to dim" and set it to 20 (default)

Now you can keep automatic brightness on, if you want, or just switch it off.
Q) I'm using a kernel with VC and the colors look very ugly!
A) I suggest you one possibile configuration, but you can tweak the values as you like until you're satisfied with the results.
1. Open Voodoo Control
2. in "Color profiles" choose Voodoo profile
3. in "Screen RGB multipliers" set Red to 321*, Green to 321*, and Blue to 395*
4. in "Screen v1 gamma hack" choose Punchy settings

Q) The external speaker volume is too low.
A) That's normal. Make sure you have DSP Manager to tweak some settings as described:
1. Open DSP Manager
2. Select Phone Speaker
3. Enable the equalizer
4. Tap on the picture below
5. Slide the latest three values up to 3.0

If you think the trebles are too high, set a slightly lower value than 3.0 on the last one.
Q)The datadata folder is too small! (a.k.a. "It says the data partition is full when trying to install an application, but it's not!)
A) This is a CM7 bug that's been present since the first ports. I think there is a reason behind this choice because /datadata is a mount point, however... let's apply this little dirty workaround:
1. Open AppManager --> Root Explorer or any equivalent app
2. Delete folder /data/data
2. Copy folder /datadata to /data/
3. Change name of folder /data/datadata to /data/data/

Don't worry: you won't lose any app or data after doing this.
Q) It doesn't find my operator at startup, but everything's fine after some time.
A) If you tried flashing many modems and are sick of being roamed to another operator at startup and having to set your network operator manually or waiting for it to show up later, just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to Settings/System/Mobile Network Settings
2. Make sure Data roaming is set to OFF
3. Tap on "Network type selection";
4. Select "Only 3G"

Mint based on miuiandroid.com. There is no ICS MIUI until now. They just started to work on it.
So MIUI ICS will be there when it´s done.

Many ROMS are presented ad being stable and fast, I have tried hundreds in the last year...And I am ready to say ..THIS IS IT!...Stable as Rock...Fast and furious...at least it feels like...so congratulations!
One flaw only for My case: I could not make 850 Mhz 3G to work with Telcel from Mexico, but will keep trying because I am very satisfied with the MIUI experience

Not funny really, also happened to me an hour ago.
I had just changed theme, wrote a text, then as it was sending, screen went blank and all msgs now gone.
SwiftKey also stopped working, reinstalled from market, now ok.

After spending a couple of months playing around with the JVT 2.3.5 Firmware, I decided to move on to the new XWJW1 2.3.6 Firmware.
I've tried to keep the looks of the stock ROM as close to my v1 release, however there are a few noticable changes:
- The StatusBar Toggles no longer have text, which gives the ROM a cleaner look
- The Advanced Options section in the Settings menu now controls a lot more features of the ROM

- When using Titanium Backup 4.7.2 it will want to change the permissions of the su binary (from 4755 to 6755).

CWM Install
- BACKUP YOUR APPS, /EFS/ FOLDER, CONTACTS ETC BEFORE CONTINUING!!!
- Copy the DJBROM_Installer_CMW_v2.xx.zip file to your Internal SD Card and reboot into CWM Recovery.
- Wipe Cache and Restore Factory Settings for a nice clean installation.
- Install the DJBROM_Installer_CWM_v2.xx.zip file.
- Install any other CWM Addon packs you desire.
- Restart your Phone.
ODIN Install
- BACKUP YOUR APPS, /EFS/ FOLDER, CONTACTS ETC BEFORE CONTINUING!!!
- Download the ODIN_DJBROM_JVT_Installer_v2.xx.7z file and extract it (using WinRAR or 7-Zip).
- Put your Phonw into Download Mode (Vol Down + Home + Power).
- Start up ODIN (which is provied in the .7z archive).
- Click the PIT Button and select the s1_odin_20100512.pit file. Make sure that Re-Partition is ticked.
- Click on the PDA Button and select the PDA_XXJVT_DJBROM_v2.xx.tar file.
- DOUBLE CHECK you have selected the correct files in the correct locations.
- Connect your Phone to the PC via USB.
- Press the Start button.
- After flashing / rebooting it may come up with the stock Recovery menu, just restart your Phone.
- Once it has restarted CWM Recovery will work properly, so before the launcher starts install any other addons you wish via CWM.
Converting your Phone to the ext4 Filesystem
- Go to Applications -> Settings -> Advanced Options -> Ext4 Manager (Accept Superuser).
- Select "Convert to ext4".
- Your Phone will now reboot and convert the filesystem, it will automatically reboot again once it has completed.
Setting up ThunderBolt
- Go to Applications -> My Files and install the Script Manager 1.8.6 APK File.
- Once installed, navigate to bolt_scripts/Remounts/remounti9000 and click on it.
- Tick the boxes for "Run as Root" and "Run as Boot" then press Save.
- Restart your Phone, and accept the SuperUser popup for Script Manager when it appears.
Overclocking your CPU to 1200/1300 mhz
- Go to Applications -> Settings -> Advanced Options -> Kernel Manager.
- Click on the "Kernel Features" sub-section to open it.
- Select "Over/Underclocking".
- Selct the clockrate of your CPU, either 800, 1000 (which is standard), 1200, or 1300.
NOTE: On testing, I've found 1200 to be the best setting.

Thanks for the really nice looking rom, first little problem i ran into seems to be each time I reboot it runs me through the setup ( wifi,google accounts) It keeps my info in memory but still have to go through the steps.

Its basically the standard Swype so I haven't removed anything.

i do not use the swype but samsung keyboard...is there any way of put the greek language on it?
Not really sure since I've never really looked into it. I'm sure it would be possible somehow though.
If there's any info on how to do it that you can pass on to me (plus the required files) I can give it a try.

No I have no info and no idea about that....I like very much your rom and I would apreciate if you could help me....do you have any idea about that?

By the looks of it you may only be able to add one extra language at a time, so it would be pointless for me to embed it into the rom.

i check this topic but the only thing that happed was to install the android keyboard without the greek lang....i would like to have the stock samsung keyboard with the greek lang.....
Sorry but I dont think I'll be able to help you out. If I knew how to do it and had the files I wouldn't hesitate to include it for you.
