Hi,
I try a lot sense 3.5 roms, but I think it's to slowly. I want install sense 3.0 on my DZ. Which rom is the best? Performance, battery, stable? I can run swap partition.
I'm waiting for the suggestions.
I haven't used and sense 3.0 ROMs in awhile but I always remember virtuous unity being great. Smooth and fast and from what I can remember few problems, and this was a couple months ago so I imagine it has improved even more since.

Agreed, virtuous unity were the best. Try 2.37.

Im new here and wana put new rom on my desire but I can't decide between: devnull-test, cm7, oxygen or insertcoin
All I care about smoothness and stable and fast. Don't care for sense or non-sense
Just installed cm7 myself 45 mins ago and it's fast haven't played around to much but got 1230 on quadrant.
I tried many ROMs but finally settled with Gingervillan 1.5. Fastest and smoothest on my desire.
Just try different out. If you like Sense, you should use iNsertCoin or RCMix HD. If you like it smooth and very stable, you should try Oxygen or CM.
There isn't THE best Rom. Just use one for a few days.

Oxygen 2.0!! It is the fastest and cleanest ROM there is!
oxygen or gingervillian, oxygen 60MB, gingervillian 90MB
LeeDrOid's ROM's are very good. Quick, clean and stable.
I started with leedroid and settled on oxygen 2.0, great battery life, minimal and looks great.

go for redux, trust me. iv tried them all.
Yep redux is amazing.. very quick and stable

starburst is da best super fast and smooth and every game av played on it so far smooth gangster 2 splinter cell etc
Redux - fastest, practically bug-free.
So, final answer is - you have to try different ROMs, that's the only way to find which one is the best for you.
Opinions are like butts - everybody's got one!
I've went whit MIUI, it has some really cool option.
Redux +1
It impressed me quite a lot.

RCMixHD +1.
Anyone tried devnull?

Because I need to use internet pass through, I choose HD rom.
RCMixHD is my favoriite.

Would anyone please give me the idea of its stability? I am trying to find a mod rom stable & can extend the battery life. Thank you
I'd sooner go with the 2.3d if I were you. I think that reading less than 10 last pages of the thread in question could give enough evidence to back up this statement of mine.

I find it works very well on my device, stable, smooth and fast, tried the GB builds and came back to 2.4.1. The battery life made me come back.

LeeDroid 2.4.1 is very stable, it's the better froyo sense rom, you should try Gingerbread Sense Rom like InsertCoin or RCMix S, both are very good

2.4.1 is very stable , clean and fast. I like "sence" , and this is the best rom out there .

Same here. The only thing i disagree with is battery. GB are equally good now. I think even a little bit better when actually using the ROM (when phone is awake).
BUT, LeeDroid 2.4.1 is rock solid. All GB roms are based on TEST leak, and devs are porting stuff from sense 2.1 and 3.0 to them, which does cause few bugs here and there. It'll get there once official update is released.
I love the way Lee stayed away from porting stuff and just concentrated on optimizing existing software, adding most usefull addons you can find on xda.
LeeDroid 2.4.1 gets my vote for now, it's just to good not to use it
If you do not want Gingerbread, it is the most stable Froyo ROM, but GB has some advantages like battery RAM Management. If you will use A2SD, you may try InsertCoin Sense2.1 with GB.
+1 vote for 2.4.1
stable and smooth
skip 2.4.1 and go to LeeDRoid 3.0.x, might as well make the most of upgrading your system, and start getting used to Gingerbread!
Actually, that wasn't very helpful I guess. My bad. I've used LeeDRoiD roms pretty much since i first rooted, and I'd say they are up there with the best software you could want on your phone. They are definitely stable and pretty good on battery use. I only used 2.4.1 for a few days before i went to 3.0.2, but it was fairly solid.
Which roms for the Dinc is the snappiest and quickest that has sense 3.0 features? (i.e. lockscreen)(By features I mean it doesn't have to be a pure sense 3.0 rom) So far, the ones I've tried have been a little sluggish..
Optimized shift is a good 2.1/3.0 rom and newts hybrid 3.0 is good as well, both fast..

For pure speed and overall consistency, as my experience goes, I prefer Nils Business Gingersense 2.1/3.0. I haven't gone too far with 3.0 roms, I wanted to give them time as I enjoy the 2./3.0 roms. Btw, at this point it's rather difficult to find a gingersense rom with no 3.0 lock screen haha
I highly recommend Newt's Optimized Shift or Nilsp Gingersense 2.1/3.0. Both of these roms are nearly perfect. I haven't found any flaws with Optimized Shift and it's my daily driver. That or fowty's Inc 2 rom.

noob question; with Nils Business Gingersense 2.1/3.0 it looks like the 05.02 radio comes recommended, does the radio get flashed before the ROM flash or after?
I don't think it was necessarily recommended but people had reported decent response. I don't think nils was going to recommend any radios because any perceived benefit has a lot of variables like your phone and location.
In any case, it doesn't matter when you flash the radio, it will stick until you flash a different one.
Makes perfect sense, thanks.

I really like the Synergy ROM.
I have used a lot of ROMs, but I have yet to find one that I can use as a daily for more than a week. I am looking for Gingerbread, Sense 2.1 with elements of 3.0 or full 3.0, stability to use as a daily and, while it is not my biggest priority, good enough battery life that I should be able to make it through a full day. Any suggestions? I have used Optimized Shift (FCs make it unusable for me), Synergy, and Hybrid 3.0.
Thank you.
give nill's gingersense a try.
2.1 or 3.0 hybrid?

I recommend the full 3.0 ROM
I've tried most and keep coming back top nils 3.0
Best? That's not answerable, every person has his or his own standards.
I find Nils' Business_GingerSense_3.0-v1.4 to be eminently stable and pleasant.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1175842.
I alternate between that and MIUI, finding it tough to prefer one over the other.
I've been using Nils 3.0 for the last few days and it works great. Thanks.

Im using the Community ROM and it is great.
Then again I have turned off all animations though.
Which sense 3.0 rom do you guys prefer and why? just curious
I'm running sensation right now. I followed newtoroot from the og Inc and he is a great dev. Great features and everything I need works so this is going to be my daily other than Miui.

I would consider Virtuous Unity a more complete ROM. I have had no problems at all since installing. For those looking for the global option though they would have to try NEWTs ROM.
