[QUICK, HELP PLEASE] Bluetooth watch MBW-150 - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
First of all, sorry for opening a new thread about this, but I need help quick with this watch.
I have bought the MBW-150 classic edition through Ebay, and I just recieved it today. It looks great, but I think mine it has the lcd partially gone. I mean, I have seen in reviews and on Youtube the light that makes the screen and I thought it makes a "strong" light, but mine looks less bright.
Here's a photo of my watch:

}
So, I would like to know if this is the normal light that can do the watch or if it should be brighter, because if that's the case, I'll have to return the watch to the seller, and that's why I ask for quick help.
---------
For example, take a look at this video of the watch:
Here the watch is in a bright room and the light looks "strong", but my watch doesn't look like that...
Help please.

Great, no help...
Well, I think I have found another problem. The watch has been charging the whole night and the indicator looks like in the photo.
Bad luck for me I guess... =___=

It's hard to say from your photo if it is light or not - in the dark I find mine to be brighter than what's on your photo - in the light I find mine to be similar to what yours looks in the photo. Not sure if you took the photo in the dark (presumably without flash) or well lit room. Sorry to hear about the battery problem too.

Unfortunately, they are known for going dim. I've had mine only a few months and I can barely see it in the light.

Before the photo is taken everything looks excessively grainy, but it seems that the dual LED's fix that right up. Unfortunately, video looks really bad at night.

It has nothing to do with the Dual LED's. Daytime shots in good light do not trigger the LED's so making statements like that only causes confusion. The grainy aspect is for quicker response times on the screen as you don't need high resolution screen quality to shoot high quality pictures. You just have to make sure it's in focus and what you want to shoot.
Videos looks really bad at night because you are using a PHONE CAMERA and LENS. Turn on the LED's with the Torch APP and light the way for a little better night video shooting.
Heck of a lot better than IPHONE right? No flash = no night time shots.
Have you removed the plastic from the camera? I have some friends who.didn't realize it had a plastic.

Faulty Camera?

Noticed a white fading band at the top of my camera image. Here is a screen grab where u can see what I'm taking about. It fades son its hard to tell if its even all the way across as some sort of UI design or if its my camera being faulty/ shifted out of position . Any thoughts?

Wow. I see it. Took me awhile to figure it out. My phone has the same thing. It might be normal or a theme thing. Lets see what other people have to say.
Javiggan
I have this as well, it seems more pronounced when viewed on the phone but when you look at the screengrab on the pc, you can barely notice it.
Also i tried taking a picture of what was in the viewfinder and the picture comes out as pure black, with no fading band. I'm assuming this is a software issue rather than a faulty camera or bad camera placement.
Have you noticed when you take a picture in low light and then click on the thumbnail on the right and start moving the screen around the edges of the photo go all weird ?
I also have this, I think this is just a frame around camera app.

[Q] Top part of the screen brightness issue

Hello everyone. I'm new here
I'm a new user of the LG G4. Quite happy with it right now. But I have a problem that I'm not sure if it's an issue or not.
On the top side of the screen (notification bar) I see a brighter light on the top that diffuse down (I don't know how to explain it)
I tried to take photos of it, but it doesn't appreciate too much. (I tried editing the contrast in the first one to make it more visible)

I wonder if anyone have this issue too, if it's normal or not. Thanks in advance.
Lol. This is by design.
That could be screen bleed where the LCD isn't bonded properly and allows addition light in from the backlight. I would compare with other G4s and get it replaced if needed.
If they give you crap about returning it just tell them the headphone port is randomly staticy.
Try to test it with full black baground with dead pixel test app from play store and on dark room.
Before try this go to settings and do the navigation buttons invisible to dead pixel app to test all screen. If you see very much light bleed then you must go to replace it. If you no then keep your phone and n'joy because you can say it normally. Many ips screens had this bleed.
If you don't want this your only way is Amoled.
Thanks for all your answers. I wasn't sure if that was normal, because I come from a S4 with Amoled and didn't have this issue. But for what I'm reading, it is normal. I think I would try to find other G4 and see if that happens too.
I have an LG G4
Funny thing is last night i noticed the exact same thing when i realised all the icons on the notification bar had burnt into my screen up there too which got me worried, maybe its all LG G4's maybe just ours but im not happy at all

Need help....Washed out colors

I had downgraded back to KitKat and had it setup exactly like I wanted it and had been using it for a few weeks. All of a sudden my screen would become washed out. Kind of like it was stuck in reading mode or something like that. Sometimes it will correct itself on it's own or if I enable then disable grayscale mode. If that doesn't work, then I have to reboot. After being locked for a few minutes though, it gets washed out again. I decided to go back to Lollipop to see if that fixed it but it's still happening.
What could be causing it have washed out colors?
Can you screenshot what you're talking about? And why would you want to be on KitKat?
Do you have the adaptive display enable?, is the rgb sensor blocked?
John.
I was going to try and get a screenshot but it hasn't done it again. Anyway, I just traded it for a gaming laptop today so doesn't really matter much anymore. Thanks for the replies though!
So, I got my tablet back and I have some screenshots of the issue available. Hopefully you'll be able to see what I talking about.

I believe it's hardware related. I was holding it at the bottom right corner when it got the green tint. Grabbing the bottom right and top left corners and bending slightly on the back of it causes the green tint. Bending on the front reverses the green tint. Loose connection, a short, or failing screen altogether?
EDIT: I looked at those screenshots while my screen is normal and I can't see the green tint, so this is really weird!

Video optimizer on all the time?

Hey all,
I'm liking my Note 7 fine, but I'm not LOVING it, and it comes down to one thing for me: the screen just isn't as vibrant as past phones (Note 5 and S7). It seems that Samsung has dulled it a bit, the colors don't "pop" in that over-saturated way they used to. Playing with the screen modes it seems the Adaptive mode is the most vibrant but even there it's noticeably duller to my eyes. It's by no means a deal-breaker, but it's my one "complaint" at the moment.
Interestingly, activating the video enhancer works wonders - when watching a video! Which is nice... but I want that thing on ALL THE TIME! I actually mentioned this to a Samsung rep in the store the other day and his answer was "well, nobody's complaining about it". Well, nobody BUT ME I guess. And I totally get that some people never liked how artificial the colors used to look on Samsung devices, and it's why the screen modes were always a great thing. I could turn on the mode that made the colors pop while others could leave it off. I just wish I could do that with this phone, but I can't.
I know there's no setting for activating that video enhancer across the board but I'm just throwing it out here in case there's a hack or app or something I'm not aware of... and if not, maybe get some enterprising dev thinking about it For me, it's taking a nearly flawless device and bringing it down just a hair. Not drastically, but a little.
