[Q]Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation SD Cache Download Problem - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
Can anyone share the SD Cache for Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation?
I am not able to download the data, trying since yesterday, stuck at 99MB

Try clearing data of that game under Manage Applications and start the download again. I was also facing the same problem earlier (almost on all Gameloft game), but this trick worked for me

i tried many times but dont work for me :S

hi, i just purchased the game at 0.99 as well yesterday and have the same problem. few times downloading but stucked at 49mb. in fact i emailed them but as usual i dont expect any reply soon enough.
so here is what i did...i replace the memory card with an unused one (i didnt format it, just that it has 90% empty space), reboot and restart the download process. and voila, it works. 1 single download process all the way to the 'finish line'.
you can give it a try and i wish you luck . Cheers

Can you upload the data..
Mod. edit: that would be requesting/providing warez...and that's not allowed here
TO Mod: even data is warezz ??
Mod. edit: I understood data as the apk, did you mean it differently?
sent via awesome aRc (rooted 2.3.4)
TO Mod: I just asked for sd cache, not .apk file
OK, my bad then

please, i try with differnt, trying to clear cache, install 1.0.0 data and nothing of this work

the problem i have i guess is my version of android 2.3.4, this have a problem with the wifi conection, drop it somewhere in the download and the gameloft data dont get save in the sd card to redoit

any solution to that?? I m still stuck, no response from gameloft as well..

i see the data, and are 4 DATA files with different values 400mn in average, if somebody can upload one, and another one another, maybe we can make it
please, that data are the archives that get error to download cause are really heavy

Hi. I see that you are asking for help with a failed download and not requesting warez. however, even the data files for the game are copyrighted property of gameloft and not to be posted here. i know, w/o the apk they are "worthless", but it is a matter of principle and has been practiced like this in other forum sections.
as an owner of that game, it is your right to download the contents from gameloft directly and you can still use this thread to discuss matters of seeking help from gameloft and when, why and how it would be a good idea, to retry.
and by the way: i purchased the game as well, for 0.79eur on my sgs2 and since this is one of the hottest and newest gameloft games and it was only on sale for 24h, i guess servers were just over capacity and given some time you will be able to resume downloading. took me several attempts as well.
P.S. I changed your thread title, so that it does not look like you are requesting warez, but seeking help.

Ok np..lemme try tonight.
Finally m able to download the game data

take a look at your wifi sleep-policy settings
and have you enough space in your sc-card ?

This is the reason I hate installing GLoft games. The data download is a pain in ass. There is a problem every time.

Maybe i ask this on wrong topic but can anyone send me link to download modern combat 3 apk + sd card data for xperia arc s? I spend almost one hour on google and i just can't find the game. If someone still have files pls upload and send me link. Tnx in advance.

Hey Luke,
Been experiencing this problem ever since i got this phone, i've now tried every firmware update possible, no real fix as yet. I suspected it had something to do with the fact that i moved from a Nexus One with Froyo back to Eclair, but it sounds like you haven't done that.
Let me know if you find a fix... would love to be able to use my market the way it was intended.

Thanks for the tip but it did not work. I'm having a problem where the imei number on the phone using *#06# is different to the case imei. I don't get how the numbers changed, but would desperately appreciate if someone could tell me how to match them up again?
I also have a problem with try to correct by changing .imei in /system /efs to match case imei but after reboot it keep changing back.

yes thanks that was the solution iforget todo factory reset
now works fine
I already had 2 crash/freeze with this kernel, it looks definitely unstable.
2 crashes situation :
1/ Pressing stop/play in xiialive lite
2/ listening audio in the standard mp3 player.
It crashed both time using the audio device.
I waited 1min the first time, hoping OOm killer or something else would kill a bad behaving process; without success.
The second time, i did not had time to loose :/
Very disapointing !
2 days after installing JS2 I'm still unable to connect to Market.
I'm unable to setup the Google login. Error is always no server available or something in that manner. Selecting clearing cache in recovery also did not help either.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
If you are not able to login to the market, then you will have a general problem..
Because you can even login if you dont have the market fix..
The market fix is just for secure apps...

[q] insuff space available <samsung epic>

I started this thread because of all the searching, i couldnt find an answer directly related to my phone and my specs. I currently downloaded RKings Random Phoenix. For the first time in life...i see ..."insuff space available"..i really would love to stick with this rom for a number of reasons..but i cant download from my sd card nor the market and yes...i have plenty space available on all levels. Please help for the answers i have searched are not working. Thanks in advance...<Rooted Epic...genocied 1.0 kernel...eco5...random phoenix rom>
I though phoenix was a GB rom, either way this has been seen plenty before, twice by me. Wat I did was wipe the sdcard and redo th rom install. I probably took the long safe way around though.
You probably are trying to redownload an app that you had before. Use Root Explorer to search your phone for any other files with that name in it. Say you are trying to reinstall the Youtube app, search your youtube and delete any other files you find, then download and install. Say it was the SPB 3D shell, search for SPB. You get the idea.
Thanks guys...thats what RandomKing said...i think i had..well i know i had..2 black markets...which left me with a regular new market...but hey...one step at a time..im content right now..but yall know i gotta get that black market back...my phone is all black eerthang...it just wouldn be right without it lol...thanks again doe!!!
Also guys...since i had 2 black markets...lets say...i go into es file explorer..system > app folder ...delete vending.apk...and insert the black market in there..reboot...shouldn i have the black market back and running with no problems?

Restoring games after flashing new firmware.

I have not seen any threads about this so I have to ask this now. I am tired of flashing new firmware but then having to update each game over wi-fi all over again. Using root explorer can I just save the files in the mnt\ASEC folder to my SD card & simply restore them after (ex. \mnt\asec\com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftAsp6.asphalt6-1.asec)? Or is it mnt\secure\asec\ com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftAsp6.asphalt6-1.asec? Do I have to change permissions? Is this even the folder that has the full updated data or am I looking in the wrong spot? And then should I install individual game's APK after the transfer?? I would think this would allow someone to save games and share them with other xperia play users as well? Any help is much appreciated.
Why not backup all your games in titanium backup with data before flashing new firmware?
I really did not think of that. :| I know I can restore the app(or game), but would I be able to restore the apps data on a different firmware without getting problems or fc's? Especially when flashing different custom ROM's I know certain apps may not work when you try to restore the data as well.

Games should be fine when transferring from one ROM to another because games are supposed to run on different devices and they don't really take a phones hardware profile/rom into consideration when running...
I transferred stock to cyanogen and didn't have any issues, Apps like video players/ad blockers/audio player might be a bit of a bother but you could easily reinstall them.
Well this sounds like a good solution to me and its simple too. And since I have always used used titanium backup anyways it would seem I have always had backups to my games. Now you see why I had to ask.lmao. Thanks for pointing this out and hopefully this helps someone else out.
Ok im back to the same question again about where the actual game update data is stored again. I was successful before restoring game on my phone ,but say I want to share my games (that are already updated) with a friend on another xperia play, then is there a folder that I need to manually transfer over to their SD card that has game data? Basically I did backup of the games with "TB" on my phones SD then I put that SD card in other xplay, restored to root of phone, booted up game fine without need to update over wifi message but after reboot. I got the same damn message.... ??
*EDIT**
After reading on different sites I think that on the SD card I have to have a folder called Gameloft/Games/(x). X will be a specific folder for game (EX.GloftA6HP for Asphalt 6, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus is Games/GloftBPHP ). Without this Data file in proper place I guess you are forced to do updates over like me.lol. If anyone cares. Hope it helps.

[Q] Can't download on Android Market

Hey chaps!
Yesterday, I got me an brand new Xperia Play.
But yesterday evening, I suddenly couldn't download from the android market.
I've tried to clear the cache, removed the updates and installed the whole thing again (I've rebooted after every step).
I tought it was maybe a server error or something like that, but today, I still can't download anything...
The phone got root already and I accidentally removed download.apk from system/apps/
I never remove apps from that folder, so I've moved it to my sd card. When I realised that I was doing it wrong, I placed the apk back and installed it several times...
What can I do now? I really don't want to do a factory reset cause I should have to do everything all over again...
Help me plz!
Greetings,
Sander

[Q] Xperia PLAY keeps rebooting

After i installed 15-20 apps, and rebooted phone once, my xperia play just keep rebooting, i can only boot it clearly when i enter cwm and clear cache and dalvik cache, but again if i reboot phone, it'll keep rebooting. So I think that the problem is in one of the apps i installed, how can i find which one?
I don't want to delete all apps i installed, just that one that's forcing my phone to reboot.
If anyone can help, please reply.
I uploaded logs, both (catlog and alogcat)
If someone can understand from logs what is causing my phone to keep rebooting constantly, please reply.
I thing that one of the apps is causing my phone to reboot but don't know which one, and i don't have much knowlage to find a solution of my problem from logs :/

I'm using ics hyper gamer with lupus ics v7 720p kernel
i tried to uninstall all of apps i installed earlier, but still the same rebooting...
Maybe some of the apps cache took some place on the phone and that is causing phone to reboot
tomorow i'll try to clean install new rom and see what will happen
I did it, i made clean install of new rom and installed all of my apps again, entered in every app i installed(reason for this is that apps can make its cache) and than i rebooted phone, reboot was ok and there is no constantly rebooting anymore, i can turn on bluetooth now without problems, i'll keep using it to see will it be ok in future 2-3 days.
Even if it's all ok on new rom, you could post in few days or a week, is it rebooting or not.. Just for future reference, if someone else is having problem with same rom and apps...
Of course i'll reply when i test it 2-3-4 days.
I'm still on the same rom (hyper gamer) but now cleanly installed and for now don't have problems

Sometimes a fresh install fixes problems with previous Rom u had let's say first flash something didn't get wiped and then new Rom gets install and there conflicting parts of the rom it would cause reboots or the burstly camera app u had may have been a required app that you had uninstalled
Sent from my Droid Incredible to this forum
It could even be a problem of the ROM...
