If you check the SGS2 forums, you'll find them.
I don't have any desire to search, when I'm pretty sure you can...
Google or the search button, both work.
Here you are my friend !

Hello everyone!
I'm from brazil and our Galaxy S comes with built in 1seg digital TV (it even has an antenna), and I got mine today. Seems a root isn't available yet, so if anyone need me to dump anything or anything else so we can make this work, fire away!
Thanks!
Carlos
Have you tried any of the available methods of root? But first make sure your phone can go into download mode in case anything goes wrong. I'd like to see a picture of this Galaxy S with a TV antenna. Sounds pretty cool
It's been rooted, check the forum.
Did it today using the forum's tutorial.
Has anyone installed ROM's on the i9000B?!
Cheers
Not yet, still trying to figure out how to install all the gapps I want. Gtalk workd fine, but no gmail yet.
Ok, phone sucessfully rooted! now, anyone done any of the most popular hacks? Like the lagfix one? Seems mine doesnt have enough space on /system/ for ryanza's one
froyo 2.2 ?
The big question is : Will be Brazilian GS upgraded to Froyo ? Its the only Galaxy with tv ...
Does it suffer the lag issue ? The gps is good ?
Thanks

I have applied Ryanza's Lag Fix and Market Access, but I'm still an Android novice. No problems whatsoever with Ryanza's, my Galaxy S is the Brazilian model, unlocked and unbranded.

Mine already came with Gmail and Google Talk (haven't tried it yet), or are we talking about different applications? By the way, mine is unbranded.

How do I know if my phone suffers from the lag issue? I applied Ryanza's fix but to be honest I didn't notice much difference.
I think my GPS reception is poor. But I had previous phone models which didn't have good GPS reception themselves (Nokia N97 and Sony Ericsson Vivaz) so I don't really know.
I'd love if someone can dump this firmware.
I'm looking at swype and the modem.

Tell me what to do (or point to the appropriate topics) and I'll do it. Any risks involved?
i don´t know what the problem with brazilian SGS, works perfect to me with root, lagfix, we don´t have roms just it, you can use froyo beta but you need a way to extract apk of digital tv and swype language module (pt-br) just it, and we will have a galaxy like any other
Well I had to xchange my galaxy s for another because I semi bricked it LOL so before I did, I tested the froyo beta firmwares and on all of them the touchscreen didn't work. maybe our kernel is different somehow?
Seems we will have to wait for an official I9000B firmware?
Also, my galaxy didn't come with google apps, I got samsung email and some customized gmail application and some claro ****. Where can I get the regular gmail or another as good email client? Or even better how can I completely unbrand the phone and leave it like the one bought outside carriers?
Did anyone here rooted the Brazilian Galaxy S ? Anyone using Claro ? Thanks.

a lot of peoples use rooted SGS of claro in the orkut community of SGS, try this update.zip man
Now that we have paid apps in Market I cant see why to root . Anyway, I was not accepted in the orkut community . I am working on it right now to figure out what happened .
My big concern is : will be there Froyo for us ?
hi
Maybe this is a stupid question, but would it be possible to use the digital TV app on our "non" brazillian phones?
-TB-
Digital TV it´s hardware thing...
Our cell phones have a TV antenna and a digital receptor.
I´ve instaled clockwork and backuped my phone.
These files will help someone in xtracting swype language and TV app?
Samsung released an oficial Froyo update today.
Let's see how long it will take for us to get it here in Brazil.
Hi, I am currently using T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G, SGH-T959V.
I want to know how to do the partitioning thing to improve speed of my Galaxy S 4G and want to know how to change my phone setting into one nand format to increase speed also.
Those intellectuals who knows very well.. please answer me!
I want to get out of my slow Galaxy S !!
Just did a quick Google search and found a link I was going to post that should help, but being a new user I can't post it in a reply.
Fear not, however! If you Google "partitioning samsung galaxy s" it comes up as the third result.
Not too clued up about partitioning and have never used the Galaxy S but hope this helps
Hoping that it's not wrong to ask in here as well, but see
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1281383.
The Galaxy S I9000 has the ability to download the PhoneShare app for Android & I was wondering if it would work on the Galaxy Nexus.
Unfortunately I do not have a Galaxy S to pull the apk from, maybe someone can test and/or up the apk for testing?
Just thought someone in here might have access to the apk.
Thanks

Hi all.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 for few days, and i installed a JB rom on it, and there are some things i really love !
So my questions are these :
-Is there any mod, or anything to activate like on the s2/3 when you are in the messaging app, you just put your phone to your ear, and it call the contact that you are texting with ?
-Is there anyway to get the samsung's keyboard on the galaxy nexus ?
-Maybe is there any possibility to get the lockscreen ?
-And is there any mod or something to get the messaging app ?
My device is the GSM Galaxy Nexus (Maguro), running Cataclysm ROM (4.3)
I can change my rom to get these mods.
Thanks four your replys guys, and i hope you understand my english.
Someone please ?

If you have the S2 you are in the wrong section. This section is for the Galaxy Nexus, although I guess my answers will still work for you.

There is a direct call feature in some of the modded mms apps. Perhaps some market apps have this feature as well.

Searching for these would be your best bet. If you can't find them, they likely haven't been ported. Good chance the lockscreen is a no. There may be alternatives on the market to get the features you want.

So you have an S2 and a Gnex?
So basically you want some Touchwiz on your Pure Google experience...
-No, that's a Touchwiz feature.
-I believe you can sideload the Samsung keyboard apk to your Gnex and install it.
-No, that is also a Touchwiz feature and probably hard as hell to get working/ported.
-Possibly if you sideload the Messaging apk file.

Thanks for your reply, i tried the apk's and it didn't work.
I wanted the most the direct call feature, because we have '' smartphones '' but actually they are pretty dumb. And this feature is a smart feature imo.

First of All I Would Like to Apologize If I'm Posting this in The Wrong Place, Am I?
Anyways as we all Know, Our Galaxy Grand Prime Doesn't Come With the Default Samsung Touchwiz Player
but Instead the wacky Google Play Music.
I've searched but can't find the original Music app port to our Grand Prime
Do Any of You Have It? Or If Possible can someone please Port the S5 or default Samsung's Touchwiz Android 4.4 Music app to our Galaxy Grand Prime,
I Don't want to ask for the impossible but Thanks times a Million in advance if you don't mind helping out.
Again I Deeply Apologize If I'm posting this in the wrong place.

No I need the Original Samsung Music App, You see I'm a Die hard fan of Touchwiz
Hmmm..
Similarly I want real TouchWiz not this crap :/
Did any one tried this and come up with some kind of success ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-stock-one-t3007286/post58283592#post58283592
At a first glance, it seems like it works on de-odexed Rom probably, because of the missing library files
in my case, i still not rooted my phone because of buggy reboot to recovery issue .
So haven't done this trick yet.but i am sure i will if its seems worthy.

The good news is that we finall have a Custom Recovery all we need is someone who knows where to put what where and How then make a flashable .zip of it and we're good So I Suppose we'll have to wait
