There is no best rom bcuz everybodies phone acts differently on different roms. But for arguments sake I would say legendary... fast, snappy, and I haven't had one bug to date.

Depends what you like. I would say cm7, since it has the newest bleeding edge features.
However, you may care more about looks, then you might go with someone else's such as legendary of another themed rom.

You are right, he is a beast. He, by far, has built some of the best running roms for our phones. The only reason I am not running his rom at the moment is because I am a flashoholic and I am trying out AOKP. He is due for some props!

blazer has been the best combination of battery life and features for me. its based of calks (i think blend might be too), so it really just comes down to the features and sustained battery life.

I believe they are all great ROMs but there are some YOUR phone is gonna like more than others...that's the best answer I could give you. Luck homie.
That to me is an unaswerable question. Its like asking what undys should I wear today to your buddies. Not really a question anyone but yourself could answer lol.

I have flashed over 5 roms in the last 3 weeks and I finally found one that fits me. DS Rev.7.

I so agree with you bro.... the devs are just doing all of this for free. Which ever any of us use is just icing on their cake. To them it just means that their knowledge has paid off.
Too many choices out there to make one single decision. Carry 1-2-3-8 roms in ur card. Choose a diff one everyday of the week. And one day it will make its mark that the one your using will meet all your needs. Until then........ PLEASE!!!!! Read instructions and follow devs install guides. Their there for a reason. Don't be one of the many that post treads about how they didn't research and ended up with a paperweight.
Thats my .02¢
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I don't mean to sound politically incorrect here. But I don't think devs do this for us at all. If I had the talents to dev my main reason for developing would be my own personal gains in being able to improve the experience with that shiny new device I've been wanting. Then after I would upload my work for anyone else if they wish. Hopefully cash in some sweet donations if my work is THAT good. But I will never ever believe that devs do it "for us". All devs are hackers. And hackers all hack for the same reasons. Personal gain and attention. Just my 2 cents.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda premium
My question is... which rom is best on this device? Maybe asking for too much but anything close to s3 and note 2 like rom would be sweet. I have an i777 on shostock3 and that rom is beast.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
You inherited a damn good phone lol. The recently released jellybean leaks like FK23, FL04, and FL16 offer a close experience to that of the Galaxy S3. The home screen and notification bars are nearly the same and many features are carried over to our device as well. You have some interesting motion features to try out as well.
Honestly you can't go wrong with any. All the devs put a lot of hard work into their roms, and it shows. My personal favorite for ics is blu Kuban. As of right now I am running fk23, and have been since it's release.

Congrats on getting this phone:thumbup:
Now as far as best ROMs. There is no such thing as a "best" ROM. Every user has its own preference based on whether he is a power user or a casual user, whether he is into themed ROMs or ROMs with stock feel, etc.
So you are just going to have to look in dev forums, read user posts, read OPs and then decide.
I can say so and so ROM is better but thats for my taste. You are not me. And some devs may not feel good that I left out their ROM.
So take this advise and happy flashing!

Also, does this banned ROM have a smooth handoff between 3G/LTE/WiFi?
I ask because I have flashed several AOSP and AOKP ROMs and they all seemed to struggle for signal strength (thus, draining the phone battery much faster than a TW ROM).
