So I noticed a few times on go SMS, typing us so so laggy. Then noticed for two of my contacts, in conversation mode.....it is snowing in the background! Like a live wallpaper. Thus is causing the lag.
Cannot figure out why it only snows for a few contacts. I'm sure its something dumb.

This happened to me today, did the messages have happy new year in them?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
I also notice that any message I received that says Happy New Years starts to show snowflakes falling

Yes!
And I couldn't type in those. Was laggy. I don't like that the program is able to do stuff like that. I use this for work! Lol

I've had a couple of weird crashes in the last few days. I'm on Verizon GN.
First, the buttons on the bottom of the screen disappeared. I could actually still touch them but the visuals didn't show. Then recently trying to unlock, the screen didn't respond to the touches. Had to pull battery and restart. Finally. This morning I went to check email and the phone dialed a * something number.I was able to hang up before it connected but it was weird.
Any thoughts suggestions? I'm on the stock rom.

sounds like you have a lemon. I'd call vzw to talk warranty.

Thanks Keith,
I've only had the phone a couple of weeks. I'll talk to them.

Hi everyone, I'm having an issue on my device that is pretty weird. Everytime I open the 'Recent apps' section when on a black background I see this horrible lines like a broke tv. Its only on the recent apps section. Im using AOKP M5 + Franco3. Has anyone else had this issue? Or its just me and a faulty screen.

Call me crazy but I see nothing. Problem's with your screen if it doesn't show up on a screenshot.
I don't see anything either. Can you specify more?
I have this issue too

If you have a problem with your screen, take a photo of it! All a screenshot will do is show us what it should look like.

Jeez, I didn't read properly. Sorry, ignore post!
Try a different from first. Or try viewing it in landscape also.

Heh, i have this issue too.
Let me try in landscape mode.
Landscape mode have this problem too.
Sounds like it could be the rom. Are you on the same one as the OP? Also I do not think the apps show in a screen shot for security reasons.

Running stock takju 4.0.4(IMM76I) and Franco Kernel Milestone 3
Hi!
Lately I've been having some issues with Incoming calls.
When someone calls me, and i slide to pick up, my ringtone feeds back to the caller for a couple of hundred ms. (stock ringtone)
It's really annoying for those calling me.
I'm on a galaxy nexus with stock JB 4.1.1
Can't seem to find out why. Any suggestions?

Not a known issue? Might it be an app doing this? Seems to me that it might be some lag when i answer and connecting to the caller

I'm literally at wits end with my wallpaper troubles. I've recently came from the Droid Incredible and have used tons of wallpapers with an app called Auto Resize wallpaper. The wallpapers ranged from 700x500+. AutoResizeWallpaper would fit the entire wallpaper on my phone without killing the quality.
The nexus is obvious a huge screen size but its driving me nuts how I can use a simple picture from my incredible on my nexus without crappy quality. I've tried other apps as well and just can't seem to get it like the incredible. How big does the ****ing image need to be for good quality and full size fit? Its driving me insane.. I have over 6,000 images and none fit the nexus like the premade versions.
Edit: at the moment I got an app working with my pictures. If anyone still has a better fix please let me know.

Have you tried an app called "wallpaper wizardrii"?
Edit: I used to use it on a few different devices but just made the UI crash on my g-nex and then loaded default jellybean wallpaper so not sure if it'll work or not..

Yeah.. anything I use just doesn't seem to work. But out of luck AutoResizeWallpaper is actually working at the moment. Normally it will cut the picture in half and decrease quality. So far its been fine.

Yesterday my phone gave me a notification out of nowhere that I was low on memory which seemed odd because I know I was only using about 16-18GB out of the 32 (28). When I look up the storage in the phone settings this is what I see. It shows this high grey section that isn't accounted for in anything. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

I love your Google soft key man. Where did you get the icon?

I actually had to extract it from Nova launcher I think - I did it a while back. If you want to pm me your email I can send it to you.
