Hi all,
I am looking for a waterproofed case for bike for my Note, does anybody have an idea where to buy? I can only find small ones where I can't put my Note in.
I did see one on der Bucht but cannot find it now.
However these guys may have a solution www(.)ram-mount.co.uk/aqua-box-large-size-p-1347-c-360_162.html
My solution: http://www.android-hilfe.de/zubeho...adhalterung-fur-galaxy-note.html#post2307440
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayI...&ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:AU:1123#ht_15442wt_1163
this case has rubber plugs to block up the earphone jack and microusb jack to help improve water resistance. it wont block up the microphone holes though.

Looks like the RAM Mount Medium - Wide is an even better fit.

I will have to check that one out. I love the Ram Mount gear.
ortlieb handlebar bag
Ortlieb makes an excellent waterproof handlebar bag and they have an accessory gps soft case that attaches to the top. It is a simple elegant rollable bag design that is 100% waterproof and my note fits perfectly in it, maybe a bit tight as it takes an effort to take it out of it, but just a minor thing. The touchscreen and all buttons work perfectly while in the bag but I still haven't tested it while raining.
the bag

the gps case accessory

The setup is a bit pricey but so is the note : )
Hope that helps.

Ha, I'd forgotten about my AquaBox. I've several smaller sizes I've used for years for Nokias, but I still have the original too-large one I'd gotten for an N95 so I've just pulled it out and it's absolutely perfect ! It might look a bit silly on a bicycle but it's perfect for my motorbike. It even fits perfectly with my flip case still on

thanks very much for the pictures, this is looking good to me.
But is it possible to use the touchscreen while it is in the box?

Not really I'm afraid. It's got a flexible (replaceable) screen on the front and I've been trying it for a few minutes. Sometimes I can get it to register a touch or a swipe but mostly not, I guess it's generally just too thick for the electrical signal to get through and be registered properly.

Hahaha. Very true, but I spent all my monies on getting the phone on pre-order!
What I meant was, if you wait a while, you can probably get it for like $5 delivered or something, it is RELATIVELY expensive since they are the first to offer....
Had one of these for my LG O2x. They are really ugly Look how fat it is. Why is that? Because it's not hard plastic, but some weird rubber compound, making it feel like you carved it from a car tyre! Only go for this one if you need it right now. Otherwise wait for something better to appear.
Anyone seen a cigarette lighter holder/charger anywhere yet? Had one for my Desire.
Anyone tried one of these out yet?
I've ordered the same kind of holder for my HTC Desire but really didn't like the airvent attachment piece. The phone was not held very securely and was moving a lot.
I switched to a Brodit mount and when my GS2 arrives (hopefully tomorrow), I'll order definitely a Brodit one again!
I had this one, but threw it in the garbagecan right away.
This is the same holder they sell for the Xperia Arc. It's hard fit. Even though the holder is made of rubber, you have to push hard to sqeeze the phone in to it. The rubber will stretch, but I'm afraid it will damage the outside of the phone during time. So it's a no go for me.

Yes, same thing for the one for my Desire. I had marks on the side because of the holder.
Yup that's what I mean. So it's really a no go...
So guys, spend your money on an other car holder.
Ordered a Brodit version for the GS2. Should arrive this week.

http://placewiz.com/Stand.php
Just got it set up with my GT 10.1. The beauty of the stand is the fact that I can have my Samsung Book Cover Case installed on the tab, have the charging cable plugged into the bottom of the tab, and have the tablet on the stand with the volume controls and 3.5 jack on the top. Almost every stand I have found did not have enough room for the connector to be installed while placed on the stand, but this one fixed that for me, at a grand total of $10 on ebay!

Galaxy Tab with stand, charging.
wow that is so awesome!
seems nice... how sturdy is it? did you try any other stands or was this the first one you got?
personally I dont need the ability to charge it while on the stand, so sturdiness is the name of the game for me, so i've been thinking about the Arkon but maybe this is even better... just curious if you tried the Arkon out also?
Regarding how sturdy it is... for me, it's perfectly fine. The problem I found is I keep my desk clean with pledge, which makes the surface too slippery and the stand itself doesn't have any way to grip. I think I will just stop down at the local hobby store and find some sort of rubber strip I can put on the feet of the stand to have it stop sliding. Besides that, I only get a minor wobble when tapping the screen, but only at the top, and only if I press abnormally hard. For $10 you can't beat it.
nice 10char
Just bought one.
That looks really nice.

I have the Arkon, it's very sturdy, very adjustable. It's made of some sort of hard plastic/polymer, with foam cushion layer on the bottom so it doesn't slide and where it touches the tablet. The only issue is the tablet sits too low for the charge connector in landscape mode.
lol, it is a rabbit
Hi folks,
I am searching for a hard suit case for my Xoom. Similar to this, but with correct measurements (the linked is too small). Perhaps somebody has got right hints?
It shall be slim, but with hard protection in front for the display (and a small handle like from the one on the linked picture).
get an otterbox
Uäääh. No, go away with this really ugly thing. I do not want a box, I want a case or shell or sleeve for transporting my Xoom. If I want an tablet with really ugly haptics I would have buy an Acer or an Asus...
believe me if you want to really protect your xoom and functionality as a stand you need otterbox, i had it since day one i bought the xoom and since then i didn't remove it, it keeps my xoom safe all the time and i am not afraid to leave it anywhere i want, i agree it doesn't look good but i was thinking of printing off some nice big sticker like the ones used with laptops and use it on the cover
Some points for egypt: .....
Believe me, I do not need such an ugly thing. I do not need protection against my hands, I need transport-protection. And: I do not want such an ugly thing.
I recommend you give a look to this thread

If you look at the site there is a bag too, but not a hard bag, a soft one with handles. I hear your frustration, but when people try to help you, you should not sound so peeved.
I was searching for appropriate desk stand/dock for my HTC One, but all I found were mostly generic plactic cheap looking docks and stands, which weren't suitable for gorgeous design HTC have come up with. I finally came across desk stand, which would match perfectly with my silver HTC One. I bought it for inexpensive 11.99 € + 4.49 € (shipping cost) on Mobilefun.co.uk .

The stand itself is made out of aluminum. It looks great with HTC One. The second part is special grippy pad, which is made out of plastic and special grippy material. Because of high coefficient of friction the phone is held still and doesn't move an inch even if you shake the stand. Outstanding .
I was a bit worried if the contact area will be big enough because HTC One features slightly curved back. No problem there - phone is held securely . To prevent scratching your desk or whichever surface you want to use your stand on, there is some sort of foam underneath.
Phone can be used when it is held by the stand (portrait or landscape), there is no danger of flippig over . In the future I plan to buy 38 mm NTAG203 NFC chip (I will stick it to the back of the grippy pad ) so the phone will recognize when it is docked - it will change my sound profile, connect to my home wifi network etc.
There are some pictures for better presentation.
If you have some questions feel free to ask .
Looks like an accident waiting to happen. Dog bumps night stand etc.... and down the stand goes along with the ONE.
Looks to topsy, tipsy, with such a small base on stand.
impressive. might pic this us to have next to my computer. would u mind attaching a charging cable so i can see how it looks?

perfect thank you
I had two cases already,
a 360 case and a slim leather with magnets.
the 360 was very convenient for standing positions with alot of options, but was too big.
the leather was very slim and comfort for holding and taking away, but the angles for positions were lacky and the magnets are messing up with my S-Pen and that's unacceptable for me. The tablet is 90% for studying (I write on it as notebook) and I have to have it working..
Do any of you perhaps found some good cases with fine viewing angles and positions but yet slim and light?
I only care for 2 viewing angles:
~80 degree, a standing one for watching, it doesn't have to be super stable at that one
~30 degree, for writing, this one must be stable.
I'm willing to invest few extra bucks for a fine case.
please share what have you already found, I don't wanna waste more money and time for 'testing'.. Asking the sellers is pointless, they barely speaks English and 100% don't understand what the freak do I want from them
Thanks alot ahead!

Can you lean your hand on it and write? is it comfort for writing or does it bounce up and down easily? how stable is it?
Also, have you found one of these (especially the Moko one that caught my eyes) on eBay?
I'm not from USA, so amazon is pretty useless for me, and I can't find it on eBay aswell

It Does Bounce some. Also if you stand it up it will try to slide out of the Clips. I put a piece a two sided tape on the back across the top to prevent this..
But in either position i can Use the s-pen. I like the case because its simple but protects the screen from scratching when out and About.
I agree - in the position shown, I have no problem using the S-Pen.
