Last night while I was passed out one of my friends changed my phone to some crazy foreign language. Can some one guide me through changing it back to English?!!!?

Settings > Personal > Language & input
If not that then try the GN user guide here.

BTW if you can't work out the language () then Language & input is the 13th clickable option in the settings menu and Language is the top most

No for the moment. You can't install keyboard directly on the device.
But maybe there is a way by exploring firmware ? I don't know.

Well, I'm not sure u are right at all. To change BackGround color U have to act on this file , the WsRsrcVirtualEdit.rbm , that is located in Rsrc1. About the Letters? Where the string to manage them is situated?

A 5750 chinese firmware was released recently which has the following customizations.
auto silent mode
ip call [wud like to disable this]
festival wallpaper
call connect vibrate [this is a great feature]
phone number locator
Does anyone know how to enable/disable these features and which firmware files to be targetted?
Does anyone could to add another languages to this FW ? for example Persian

i' ve worked for making you the S723 LB3 FARSI firmware and before the last version Mr aliamedhi have keep my CSC firmware so don't ask why nobody want to work for persian firmwares

To disable the IP call you have to delete the 3 numbers 17*** in Setting\call\IP call the buttons IP will disappear
The Phone number locator who says you are in "anchou shizou" can be disabled by unchecking the application on the bottom of the menu in Setting\Call (Update isn't necessary)
Festival Wallpaper work only whit default theme!
Auto-silent mode can easily be disabled
You can't disable it in CSC or FFS!! The only way I know is in the menu.

I added the French in the menu only easily by modifying the Strings in the CSC (files *.rsr) but the keyboard is in Apps_Compressed
Just take the Persian in any other firmware who contains Persian and add it in this firmware, but be sure that you have the same numbers of line you can use tkdiff-4.1.3 for comparison of *.txt files, it's a long and hard work but grateful at the end!

Thank you for the information. I actually wanted to delete IP call so that it does not come up when I slide right/left for any contact.
There are a new firmware GT-S5750E_NEE_1_20120605162342_cplu6ernnq for Nordic countries, you can try it too!
It doesn't contain the IP call system but we lose the festival wallpaper and call connect vibrate!

The best feature is the call connect vibrate but thank you for the info. will try out this firmware also.

this does not work, and down more than 5 times and always fails to decompress the file, said file damaged please rise again :good:
what I want is an update via odin, the file you uploaded the companion always fails to decompress so that does not help us

When I get the time I myself will be updating to MM as lollipop doesn't seam to have anything useful in it.
I don't want to mixed things up so I have to open another tread to make it easy. I open my root explorer and found this. Anyone have an ideal what this is(see attached) something to be worried of? You may check order thread to know where am coming from.
