Can we do a wipe battery stats with this phone via cwm ?

Yeah, Recovery Mode and under advanced, should give you the option to "Wipe Battery Stats."

Recovery Mode and under advanced as mentioned on the above post but make sure your battery is fully charged before doing so to get optimum life.

Is it possible to wipe the battery stats without rooting and installing cwm?

You can calibrate with batterycalibration app but need root.

If you are not rooted, means you haven't messed with stock rom, so in that case you don't really need battstat reset anyways ...

it's the same thing?
wipe battery stats via CWM and via battery calibration app? I've done it both way, but i'm not sure if it's the same result. In theory, yes. but in fact?

Battery stats will wipe only the info you seen when you go to settings > battery. Wiping batterystats will not calibrate battery. There was a post from android developer that this will not help or improve battery life. And on top of that battery stats are wiped every time when phone is charged 100%

Wiping the battery stats does nothing. It's just a myth. You can stop caring about it.

[Q] What's the best way to flash a kernel?

Yes yes, I'm quite a noob when it comes to this but I've heard so many ways of flashing a new kernel. So what's the way you flash it?
I've heard:
1. Wipe cache, dalvik, and battery stats and flash kernel.
2. Charge until full, wipe cache, battery stats, and flash kernel.
3. Wipe cache, battery stats, flash kernel, run battery to 0%, charge until 100% and turn phone on.
I'm currently using method 2 but all I really wanna know is if there is a "right" way to do this.
Really people do it different ways but to me its all the same .give your kernel like 2 days to get use to your phone and see the results

I always wipe cache and dalvik and then flash. I only ever wipe battery stats when flashing a new ROM and I always put a fully charged battery in after flashing but before the first boot.

Thanks guys. Yea I've always stuck to my way but I guess to each their own. I now have the sudden urge to flash something haha.

[Q] ARHD 8.1 will not charge over 65%

I reflashed the standard kernel for 8.1 abd erased cache. Reflashed the 8.1 Rom. The rom is excellent. It's fast very fast. But still cab bot charge to 100 % even left off overnight. I have tried Faux6m with the same issue.
II have cleared delvick cache as well.
Is there something I am missing? Had no issues on version 7 of ARHD.
Thanks for any help
cab bot charge? 199%?
You mean can not charge to 100%?
Did you try to wipe battery stats in cwm? (cache and dalvik cache?)

Sorry corrected percentage. Have wiped battery but will try again abd fix permissions just in case.
I now have reflasshed the rom with no optioned checked. Stock kernel. Caches erases multiple times. Still no lunch in charging over 50 % even see the phone restart on its own when I have it turned off trying recharging. So I am in the hospital and when released will move back to the 7.2 version. This new rom is so fast I was getting the best scores bettering slightly the samsung new product. Sorry for typos. Vision is having issues as well.
You sure it is not hardware issue?
Maybe a antutu battery test..
I use insert coin and never heard of this problem. And I use a battery calibratio

Why not install the latest 9.0.0 version ? run the super wipe script before flashing the ROM.
I’m on ARHD 9 with stock kernel, battery life is pretty good and no charging issues.

That is what I am trying to do. Ran into issues when trying to restore to original software. So will go from here.

Battery wipe in Recovery mode.

I have rooted my phone via a thread in XDA correctly. Flashed my ROM a few times. I can usually wipe most of the things, dalvik, cache, system whatever that is required before flashing a ROM. But I always have problem wiping my battery stats. It's like when you wipe your cache, the next thing that happens is "Wiping cache.... Wiping cache completed!" (something like that) but when I try to wipe my battery stats. Nothing happens.
Any ideas?
(BTW my battery life is crappy, 2 hours usage time only. Mobile data on + Facebook + WhatsApp.)

[Q] I do not have the option "wipe battery stats" in clockworkmod 6.0.2.8

Well what the title says, when I reboot into ClockworkMod I can't find in the menu option to wipe battery stats anywhere.
How I can fix this?

I believe they took it out. You'd have to use an older version.

Its best to use TWRP...that's my opinion. You can wipe battery stats unlike CWM.

Whenever i charge my battery i have to do wipe battery stats otherwise it wont charge upto 100%.
