Not exactly sure about the OP's issue, tapatalk is working perfectly for me. But I would recommended wiping app data and it should appear when you reload the app. You will lose any favorites you have though.

The load screen pops up and ot looks like the app restarts

I know this might not be the correct section. But hey. I can not for the life of me see the cdma development section from the xda app. Have uninstalled. Reinstalled. Wiped data. No idea, It will not show up. Anyone else having this issue?

nope. shoulda got the gsm version. the cdma version broke, and the network is on the fritz. so they shut it down.
On a serious note, it isn't showing up for me either on the XDA premium app.
I used to have the same problem with my Galaxy Tab 8.9. It couldn't see the entire 8.9 forum section. I switched ROMs and it was resolved.

Happy new year! Now that's over go into app info and clear cache/data then sign back in favorite the forum and it should be there.

Remove Galaxy nexus forums from favorites. Go to forums tab. Menu>Refresh.
Find Nexus forums. Add favorite.

Hmm. Not sure why I didn't think of that. I manually removed the xda folder on the SD card. But yay. Thank you. That worked.

It seems to be a problem in ICS, it doesn't happen to me a lot tbh but it happens every now and again.
The way I deal with it is exit out of the message thread and then back in.
a future update may sort it out.

Are u sure it only happens me on aokp
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Well I'm pretty sure it happened to me too on cm9 and I think I've seen threads around here about the same thing and referring to other roms.
Use a third party SMS app.
But i love aosp app lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
This happens with me as well, I'm running AOKP too. This also happened on other ROMs for me too.
As above when it happened I closed it down and opened it back up and it worked, this was happening in Whatsapp, SMS, Facebook etc so doesn't seem App specific.
But yeah, even on the new builds still happens
Oright its just sms app for me .weird

JB and official Twitter app

Has anyone else experienced FC's on the official twitter app since switching to JB?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Yes, i do.
me too. sometimes
Yep. Like 75% of the time upon first launch. Then reload the app and all is well. Forgivable considering the os is not technically released yet.

This is exactly what is happening. Not all of the time, just the majority of the time.
I guess I will let them slide on it this time
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
definitely having FC's from time to time
It force closes whenever I try to scroll up/down really fast.
Same here but I still like it better than plume and boid

How is the S III development on AT&T ?

I placed a order for the S III since Verizon can't get my area straight for the nexus. So I was hoping to see how the development was going for the att brand ?

Yea notice some stuff but notice they moved the thread so I was looking something old. Is the rooting phase easy to adb ?

^ Nope, in fact you can even root without unlocking the bootloader and wiping your data

Are you the Guy over at Thunderbolt whose TB bit the dust?
Haha welcome, I think more GalNex owners had the Thunderbolt than any other phone, we just got hit so bad with waiting for ICS, none of us want that wait and uncertainty ever again.

Been playing with it all day, getting a feel for phone and battery. Ive git a 2350 battery in it i believe, and life seems pretty good. It did update to jb, and im amazed how fast phone is. If i had a good secure wifi tether, id almost not root, lol! Nah, i gotta see what this thing will do. Really liking so far though.

Should i update radios? Runnin liquid now, no 4g.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Do yourself a favor and if you haven't yet already learn adb and fastboot command lines there is no need for a toolkit for this phone. And to answer your radio question unlike the thunderbolt any radio combination works on any ROM you can update or change radios to see if they help you out but it shouldn't matter if you're getting 4g or not. Plus these roms never include radios..well from what I have seen all the radios can be flashed separately through the bootloader or some people have made flashable zips containing them.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
1. Get Gnex
2. Root/Unlock
3. Flash new radios
4. Flash new bootloader
5. Flash new ROM - I would vouch for Codename Android with Faux's kernel
that's my recommendation plan
Brace yourself, flash addiction is comimg.
