Hey guys,
I am currently using Android 2.3.7 CM7.1 . I've been using that version for months now, without changes.
However, yesterday, when I tried to call somebody I could hear my opponent but he, couldn't hear me. When he called me then, he could clearly hear me. So it doesn't seem to be a hardware failure.
again:
if I call someone => the guy can't hear me, but I hear him.
if someone calls me => everything is fine.
Did this bug already appear somewhere? Any possible solutions? I'd be grateful for every answer, the forum-search didn't give me any usable answer.

Hi.
I am having this weird thing with my TP2.
If I am in the middle of a phone call and someone else tries to call me I can head the "knock-knock" sound normally but after that the person I am talking currently with can not hear me anymore. I still can hear him/her.
Any suggestions?
I have tried a few ROM's now and the thing is still there. I have updated my radio and next thing is that I am going to buy an iPho... ... take the call waiting option off.
My phone is having the same problem! When I get a call while on a call (call waiting beep) suddenly nobody can hear me anymore! If I click over then "sometimes" the second caller can hear me and sometimes they cannot. I am currently using radio rom ver. 4.49.25.77 and energyrom build 23678. The problem started on a previous version of the same rom but continues, and it is quite distressing and unprofessional to get so many "dropped calls" (how else do you describe it to your business associates!). Does anybody else have this problem or better yet a fix for it???
Hey guys,
so recently I rooted my 2-week old Incredible S, and I installed Cyanogen on the phone. Everything works flawlessly, except for the fact I can't hear or talk when I or someone else makes a call, it's just awkardly quiet.
I can make the call though, but the clock keeps on ticking without me hearing something. All sound is on maximum and speaker-mode doesn't help either. Nor do I block the microphone or anything like that.
I tried everything like removing battery, SIM-card but even a factory reset didn't work. When I call with Skype it does work, I can talk and hear. Other applications that use sound or voice also work.
Does anybody have any advice?
Inc S? Ya got the wrong forum dude. May ask over there.
If ive helped you, please hit the damn thanks button!
All of a sudden, I can't hear people speak when they call unless I put them on speaker... Can someone help?
Same issue here, tried upgrading to CM9 to see if that would help (it did marginally), but still not fully. Open to other ideas if there's any out there...realizing this is a really, really old phone...
I have this problem when on call. The people that on call with me seems cant hear me hear me well..I already sent it to sony factory but nothing change
change. Is it related to hardware or software?
Anyone had this problem?please help me.
I've got a head scratcher that I can't fix. I can't hear anything in calls and the other end can't hear me. My speaker and mic work perfectly in all other applications - I can record video and hear the audio in that, I can make and receive calls in Skype and Viber and the speaker and mic work flawlessly in both but the standard phone just doesn't work. I hear the rising been after dialling and then nothing - I can't hear it ringing and can't hear anything once it is answere and the other end don't hear me.
Phone was totally stock (not even rooted) when this first happened and I figured I'd fix it through a new rom so I rooted and first one I tried was an old familiar ARHD (I'd used the equivalent on my last phone) and it was odd as I think that seemed to fix it for the first test call and then stopped again. This seemed to be an oddity as no other rom I've tried even worked once.
I figured something Samsung was still updating after the install and causing the problem so next I tried Cyanogen 11 - didn't work even once. Tried Cyanogen 10.1.3, same thing. Just tried the AOSB rom and still the same thing...
Really not sure what to do now - any ideas?
Thanks,
DF
Hi,
Custom ROMs can be difficult and might be a source of the issue itself. Since your issue was present before installing the custom ROM, we might be able to assist. Please open a support ticket at this link: http://bit.ly/1aOwGy2 and a support agent will be in touch.

Hi,
Thanks for the offer of help but Viber actually works perfectly - it's just the built in phone that stopped working. Unfortunately GiffGaff don't seem to support Viber In for all calls otherwise I would just enable that and not worry about the normal phone not working...
Thanks,
DF
