recently bought a few sgp cases from ebay , i should have known they were to be good to be true because of the low price and the fact they were from china
They turnt out to be the worst fakes ever and not even worth £1 in my eyes
Things that are wrong with the fake sgp cases
#no steinhall screen protector
#the box isnt the same
#the labels on the box and the font used are wrong
#the hologram is completley different and wrong on the fakes
#the silicone is mega cheap and attracts loads of dust unlike the genuine ones
#the colours are wrong (dante red isnt dante red more like lipstick red)
#the plastic outer is even thinner then normal and feels mega cheap
#the fitting of the case is really really bad
They are basically the worst fakes i have ever seen and they are selling these cheap nasty fakes by using the branding of sgp and the quality brand they have built up over the years

he is very unhelpfull and he says if i want my money back i must post all the cases back to china at my own exspense even though he has rippedme off and sold fakes , yet his auction clearly shows genuine pics of the cases etc
so far i am about £40 out of pocket as i bought a few of them for me and friends , i cant give this crap to my friends , it would b like giving them a kick in the face as a gift
so this is just a little heads up to all those thinking they might try and find a bit of a bargain on sgp cases -- dont bother , they are terrible quality , nothing like sgp cases , just spend the extra moneys and buy a genuine one froma decent seller
i am currently trying to get my money back from the seller and hoping ebay do the decent thing and refund me , ive opened a case against him as i dont see why i should have to pay to return these crap cases when the seller has sold me fakes yet not mentioned anything of the sort in his auction
i will pload pics later at some point today or tomorrow but just wanted to give users a heads up on thsi terrible seller and his crappy fake cases
Negative feedback him and report him to paypal and ebay for selling fakes.

Yeah, this seller is just plain horrible. I've seen other people selling fake SGPs on eBay but at least they have the courtesy to mention that it is a fake that they are selling. This guy is obviously trying to pass of fakes are originals.
Saw a seller from Korea selling some for around 25$ will they be fake too ?
ive ordered an sgp neo hybrid from ebay uk for 10pounds and everything is as you described different packaging no screen protector etc, not sure if the original case supposed to collect dust better than a duster but this one does so i am returning it asap

Korean selllers generally tend to sell legit ones. Its those that cost <$14 that you should be worried about.
I had a wrong label on the box (wrong colour) and the screen protector scratched very easy. Fake? Has anyone some pictures to compare between fake and original?

More details. What case is it? Honestly, don't expect people to help if you can't explain in greater depth. Try going to the doctor's and tell them to heal you by just saying you're sick yet not giving any details.

i was looking at the feedback of the seller who seemed to have sold you a fake. seems like he has 98% positive feedback(scary, if this was a reliability stat), and there seem to be alot of happy customers, do you think you were just unfortunate to get a fake or are the others being fooled to think tht the fakes are actually genuine.

if the ebay seller has sold such a horrible fake i doubt the seller has any genuine sgp cases for sale, majority feedback i assume would be from people who arent all that savvy about product and packaging or people who just dont really care aslong as it some what fits and looks nice
that is one of the bad thing of buy on ebay, but remember to check the feedback of the seller, and confirm the quality of the item.

I have been buying BoxWave ClearTouch Crystal screen protectors for all of my devices for years, and they are PERFECT.
No solutions, no bubbles, 100% clear, you can clean and re-use them, they are static-cling, they fit perfect, very scratch resistant, etc..
I have these on my Canon 5D MkII camera, my Droid X, and other things.
My Droid X has had the same one on for over a year now when I first got it and it is in near-perfect condition. No I am not a salesperson for BoxWave lol.
Although there are some accessories out now for the 10.1, the screen protectors are not yet. I emailed them and they said they will be soon though.

I doubt it's the same. I am sure the BoxWave one is better quality and that the design is slightly different as they usually have higher-quality products. Similar though, yes...
Didn't see it anywhere on the site but do you know if they make screen protectors for it. If you say they are good and aren't to crazy on price, i'd be interested in picking one up.

I just bought the armor suit in the mean time. When you get it post a review up on how you like. I'd like to know how it looks and feels.
Since all of the information here has helped me out substantially since receiving my tablet, I wanted to let everyone know what is happening with Boxwave.
I ordered "FlexSuit , Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510, Smoke Grey - Qty: 2" for the I/O model (for a colleague and myself). The package took several days to ship and about 3 weeks to arrive in Vancouver, Canada. The package contained 2 x smoke flexsuits for the Xoom. Upon notifying Boxwave, I was told that it would be corrected soon by cross ship and Boxwave would reimburse me up to $5 USD since I would have to pay for the Xoom cases to be returned. I told them it was unlikely I could return these items for that little from Vancouver, and requested that they send a preauthorized envelope. The support person got back to me a couple of days later letting me know that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 flexsuits had been discontinued and that was the source of the confusion, and said preauthorized shipping from Canada was not a possibility. They could now authorize more than $5 for the shipment.
Anyway, I will have to return the shipment out of my own pocket to have any chance of a refund.
Does anyone know if the antiglare screen protector dulls the screen's color or output? I have the Invisible Shield, but has its corners messed up from the media dock. It also seems to pick up little "dimples" over time. For some reason, my Evo 4G kept getting the same dimples over time and done know what causes it.
Its hard to find the threads relevant to you so I though I would start one for people in the UK.

Seems cheap for a real leather case
I bought this screen protector (pack of 2) from Media Devil "MediaDevil Magicscreen Screen Protector: Crystal Clear (Invisible) edition". I can't post links, but it's available from their website, eBay and Amazon. MediaDevil are also a UK company.
The quality of it is amazing, I can't even tell it's on the screen. It also doesn't affect the S-Pen which is great. I highly recommend it, though I admit it's price might put people off (currently about £15).
I have paid more for screen protectors for phones.
I usually get dust under them though when fitting them.
I will look these ones up now.
I just ordered that case I linked to on ebay.

Nothing yet. I'm getting this case (search ebay for 261097757601), but for Christmas, so I won't be able to comment until then I looks like a clone of the Official Book Cover - hopefully the quality is ok.
Can anyone tell is this fake or not and is it worth to buy and spend 7 dollars on that ?

Spigen don't make those cases anymore so im 99% sure its fake.
When I bought my fake Neo Hybrid off ebay it cost the same and the same photos and description was used by the seller. Maybe it was even the same seller I can't remember.
Also the fake cases either come with a cheap non Spigen screen protector or none at all. Since the seller only mentions 1x case and no SP its another sign that its not original.
Despite it being most likely a fake its still worth it especially for the price. My case has not sagged or broken since I bought it months ago and it offers great protection for the price and materials used. There are far more positive reviews of the fakes than negative ones.

I was weary of knock-offs. There was an official LoveMei.com site, and a .net one, so I decided to go through one of the few eBay sellers, the one with the highest rating. They claim of course that it is genuine and offer retuns. Cost the same as buying it through the site, but with the big bonus of PayPal protection.

Damn, I'll have to check that out. The guys shipped me the wrong case for an S3. I posted it back at their expense which was $20 -- the unit cost $30 to post to me but that's their loss.

I ordered a Rosewood Styleswap on Aliexpress about two weeks ago. Was discounted from 25€ to 18€ so I gave it a shot. Pretty sure it's not legit, but I'd be happy to take some pics once it arrives.

Looks like there's a lot of listings on eBay for style swaps for $12-$15.
Some of them say they aren't original and some don't. They all of course just use the stock image.
Tempted to buy one but don't want it to be crap.

I also have a black apricot, kevlar, and rosewood back cover on the way from Aliexpress. In fact it may even be from the same listings as some of you guys here have bought from. They claim it to be original, and I honestly won't be surprised if they are genuine. After all OnePlus is from China. The phone is made in China, the official accessories are made and packed in China. And it is known that you can buy authentic stuff for Chinese brands from Taobao, Aliexpress..etc what not, even if they cost a lot less. The reason why they can afford to sell them so cheap is usually due to over production and cuts in packaging, so don't be surprised if your back cover comes shipped without the retail packaging. But it doesn't matter as long as its authentic.

Thats what literally every seller on ebay and aliexpress says regardless of what they are selling.
What's more important is this portion in the description:

Also notice the picture of the phone with the sandstone cover back, the OnePlus logo is not present. Might be photoshopped to remove the logo due to risk of getting taken down however. But at that price it might be worth a shot even if its a replica? Butif the Aliexpress listings turn out to be the real deal, I'd rather buy that instead for 17.49 USD. :victory:

Yeah I knew they weren't genuine but that is in Aussie $ so pretty cheap for US$ and Euros. Yeah no extra taxes coming into Oz for us, not yet anyway they have just changed the law for next year.
I bought this cover from Hong Kong and it is excellent. I was pretty dubious to the quality when I ordered but at that price why not. The fit is perfect and has a great non slip feel very similar to the original back case. I like it as it is nice and light and no extra bulk to the phone. I got the black cover just see what it looked like and very pleasantly surprised. In US$ just over $5.00. Bargin lol
