I'm currently running Juggernaut however I ran CM7 for a few days and I loved there clock app. Mainly because when I would run it would turn my phone into a beautiful digital clock that would dim, not turn off but dim at night and remained dimmed throughout the night. For you guys who came from the blackberry you konw what i'm talking about and you know how much you loved it. So is there anyway I can get that app on my jugg rom?

Just saw this but alarm clock + is very similar to it. Check that out. I like the cm7 clock as well and this app actually has a few extra perks.

Hi there,
yesterday I´ve flashed to Oxygen 2.0.3.
Then I´ve installed the live wallpaper (PhotoWal) I was using when my Desire was on original HTC Android 2.2 rom.l
But it looks like that PhotoWall has some problems under Android 2.3.3. It steadily crashes and after this the background is black. But after it has been crashed I´ve noticed that the Phone speed has increased very much. The animations are so smooth that it looks similiar to the iphones animations.
Then I thought about creating a small picture which is just black and use it as standard wallpaper (Maybe it would be as fast as without a wallpaper loaded).
Unfortunately this hasn´t worked... the speed is pretty slow if I compare it to the setting without a wallpaper.
I don´t want to load the PhotoWall wallpaper and waiting for a crash all the time, so... does anybody know if it is possible to deactive the whole wallpaper?
I know that it will look kinda naked but I really like it because it is reacting very very quickly.
Thanks in advance!
Install black wallpaper by fraga from the market
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I use this file, created with MSPaint.
I have read that having black backgrounds also improves the battery life.
Cheers

Yes it does improve because amoled doesn't use power for black pixels. That's what I heard anyway.

I have just installed Venum Rom using CWM, and cannot find where to set my alarm. I am new to the phone (went from my evo 4g a couple of days ago), so I am not to familiar with touchwiz. Before I was on Blazer Rom and you could just click on the clock in the home page and it would take you to the clock app where I could navigate to the alarm page. I am using Beautiful Widgets on Venum, and when I select the clock it makes a noise but does not navigate anywhere. Should I do a full wipe and reinstall, or is there another way to navigate to the alarm. Thanks for the help, and sorry for the noob question

Which rom of mine are you on? The Epic VeNuM rom has the standard Samsung clock. And VCS has the aosp clock. If you click the clock icon in the apps tray and then click on the right side of the time that's its settings...

Thanks for the quick reply! I originally had the lean version, so I went back and flashed the full version, and now have the sammy clock back. And I also have the clock icon in the app tray as well, don't remember that from before. Maybe it was a bad download or flash before. Either way it is working now, and thanks again!
So I was flashing a bunch of different ROMs yesterday and found that I still prefer MikG. When I was trying different ROMs out I used Team Nocturnal's Shooter. I always use the Weather lock screen and the background picture on the Shooter ROM is a great picture of earth which is awesome when combined with the weather effects. When I switched to MikG the background for the Weather lock screen is just a blue grid which is nowhere near as attractive lol.
Long story short....How do I change the lock screen wallpaper?

If your back on MikG check this link out

If you want to change yourself it can be done. Just a little more work onto getting it done.
Ah very nice, those will do. And since they are already in .apk format I should be able to edit them to replace the wallpaper if I need to
Thank ya kindly
I just flashed the latest nightly (7.17.13), and I'm having a few issues. Hopefully someone could help me with them. First one I noticed was that the quick pulldown settings colors are all wonky. I'm seeing some blues, pinks and reds when they used to be black. Another is that the cLock widget on the lockscreen is cut off at the bottom. Also, when i set the cLock widget weather to find my locations automatically, it says my location is G0W and give me the wrong temperature.
Thanks
You can still answer but I could care less.. Going back to Vanilla Rootbox
Hi, So I've been using my One M8 for almost a week now. It's truly awesome. One thing I've noticed however is the difference in the color of my home screen clock widget. It appears to change automatically as seen in the screenshots taken a few hours apart. Is there a way to keep it on the black background with white text? Or is that a feature on the Sense 6? Changing themes doesn't seem to make any difference either. Any thoughts?

At night is black, and during daytime is white, i think you can't change that without rooting

Clock changes color depending on the time : white = day, black = night.
If you want to keep only one color you will have to flash some mod

thanks guys for the response. I figured as much. i'm guessing that the phone considers night as when it's still dark outside and day as when there's still light from the sun?

Copy that. I guess the best way to find out is to observe it. Thanks again.
If there's a way to put a widget on the lock screen than you don't have to root your phone, you just have to configure widget so it's always black/white, depends on what do you want.

Ok, so the home screen clock widget just changed from the white background to the black background this happened 6pm my local time. So it looks like the colors change at 6pm/6am.
