Through the unlocking code, you can remove your network lock. I found an unlocking service at http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/samsung-i8510/rs17wp9/ .This is the online provider which offer the service for your Samsung I8510 mobile.Through this you can unlock your mobile easily..

Code arrived in less than 60 minutes...
Has anyone found a working and free solution for our Galaxy yet?

Unlocking GT-8150
I'm about to start working on a method to discover the unlock key. Not sure how long it will take, but once I figure it out, I might try and automate the process - for whatever reason, rooting, modding, romming and installing custom kernels on this model has a heap of mis information (or lack there of) and has been quite a headache for me.
Last thing I need to do is unlock it from network... hopefully not a massive hurdle.
I'll write a super noob friendly guide for this model from rooting to romming and include my network unlock method once I've figured it out. Hang tight.

You have to get the unlock code from your carrier. An when you insert a different sim car you will be promted for the code.
Hello, everyone.
I've tried to read a little bit around and try to learn on how to SIM unlock the XPeria S Arc, but it's a bit confusing with all the kernel, root, unlock, relock terms used, and tutorials.
I just want to unlock it to accept another carrier.
Android Version is 4.0.4.
Kernel is 2.6.32.9-perf
Compilation number is: 4.1.B.0.587
I also have SETool and try it, even with Test Point, but i think i probably have to root it first.
So, can anyone enlight me on wich tutorial should i follow?
Thanks.

Well my friend, you are confused. That's for sure. SIM unlock doesn't have nothing to do with kernel, root, and another things. My advise is to read the things slowly and try to understand.
As far as I know to SIM unlock an LT18i you need to pay for the service. There are a lot of providers that are giving the code to unlock for about 20€. And you don't need to do nothing to the phone.
So, ... , good luck.

I see somethere about using setool1 or setool2 depending on service code Yes or No ... Maybe a video but also I read that the only way to unlock my Sony Ericsson LT18i is to pay to have a code. I think also we must use test points...
Can you PLEASE give me here or on pm a good site to pay the right (about 20€ as you said before) better via paypal that is NOT A FAKE SITE....
My Carrier is VODAFONE ITALY
Thanks a lot in advance for any possible solution and answer.

Of course, ASUS-Support won't encourage you to root, so they won't help you.
Don't forget: for EVERY Android device ever made, there is a way to root it. You just have to use the right method.
I looked on the internet, there are no specific root methods for your tablet, so you need a universal method.
Try SRSRoot, browse for it, download and install. Just try, it won't harm your device.
But before rooting don't forget: Are the proper drivers installed? Is USB-Debugging enabled?
Those 2 things must be done before rooting.
Hope this helps you with rooting your ASUS Fonepad.
SRSRoot - does not work
OneClicRoot - does not work
Framaroot 1.6.1 - does not work
Kingo Android root - does not work
we must looking for something else.
Rooting Asus Fonepad: http://fieznur.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/asus-fonepad-root-tutorial.html
Now, does anyone know when the damn thing will be available in the UK? Asus won't tell me. No-one will tell me. Or maybe someone's took a chance and bought from Germany or Taiwan...

Oh right, I guess botto00 will create root for 372 if asked politely. I suppose the second method (Cydia Impactor) is the same.
If I couldn't root 372 I wouldn't bother buying it.
Thanks for your posts. I hope there would be a possibility to root that device, soon.
I need a way to make a complete backup.
NEW ASUS Fonepad 7 (me372cg) (k00e)
are you tellin me ASUS is more sophisticated than Samsung devices?
Ähh I will say it so:
Samsung is good in repairing their devices. ... Other Manufacturers don't need to be that.

Hi I found my old password for this account just so I could talk to you! What is this file exactly? I'm trying to root my a505u VRZ. I'm well aware of the problem of the bootloader being totally locked for these phones. The only solution I've seen was to pay for individual device specific unlocks from sampwnd.com from a senior member on this site. But the site no longer exists. Can you explain exactly what this file you posted I and can it be used to my a505u? I'm super excited to see someone posting this on the day I did 12 hours of research on it!
