Problem of download of applications

Hello,
I'm new on this forum and by opportunity on CyanogenMod I've a problem with the download of application from Android Market. Indeed some download correctly while the others (as Maps) doesn't download (the download dashes then stops immediately).
Does anybody know the problem?

Up please I'm very lost ...

CM7 hboot? Cache of only 5mb is your answer. You can try with s2e or create a ramdisk which will get deleted after the update is done-it didn't work out for me, though.

Unable to install Chainfire3d..

Hi Guys, first of all sorry for creating a new thread but i requested in repencis thread but no one responded to my request and almost two days so cant resisted to create a new thread.
My problem is i cant able to install Chainfire3d on repencis 2.5 any fix. plz frnds help me out.

Hi frnd, im using repencis 2.5 flashed through CWM and tika theme by kill3d. Installed busybox and all updates, when i install its showing success but i cant locate it in app drawer and when i go into manage applications and under all tab i can c it.

i can't figure the problem. everything should be ok. youre not using any a2sd nor link2sd right?you may try to reinstall it or use other version. repencis came with preinstalled titanium. you may backup all your app then wipe /data. aftet that try to install chainfire again if this problem still exist.

[Q] CM9 OS 4.0.4 MODIFIED BY luimaio faulty internet access

just flashed the CM9 os 4.0.4 modified by Liumiao (chinese developer) but non of the internet connections seem to work.... no wifi no mobile data. please help this rom is dope

Wifi works for me but viber app is not installing.Maybe you need to reflash?

I had the same problem.
Just download Viber apk then install App Installer from market then install right away.
It works.

Hy all nice to meet u..
First of all i want to say thank you very much for all genius ppl. Who give their best for the community here and for me specialy.
1. Thank you very much to arco68. For all his hardwork on making CM9 Rom. So we can very much enjoy it. Again thank you very much youvr the best.
2. Thank you to THE-E, for all great tutorial he work on to. That make things easier to understand.
3. Thank you to deecoolist, for make flash player works on CM9. Thats cool bro.
4. Thank you to everyone on this xda forum. For all great things you've made.
Now goes the topic.
I know others had experienced this too. That why i try to share this knowledge.
1. I used Galaxy W, stock rom.
2. Then i try use CM9. Cz gamecih.. lol.
3. After i install CM9 rom. Google play stop workin' anymore. Can open n browse app. But cant downloaded or updated app.
4. Try to find the answered but none i found solved this matter.
5. As i think is a dead end. Wholla the google play works again.
6. After thinking a lot here a got thing that maybe somehow make it works.
7. On setting system/notification drawer/widget button/ flash; normal OR high. Try change it
8. Go to CWM6 recovery : clear cache; clear dalvik cache; reboot recovery; reboot system
9. Install flash player try follow the guide writen by deecoolist http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1857912
10. For me those thing somehow make google play works again. Just try all of it. N maybe it'll work for u too

2. Please answer on question above first
a). posibility to ur issue could happen are:
a.1). You maybe did something that u should not when u install the rom, Or doin' something wrong in the proces.
a.2). U install not with the recomended recovery
a.3). Gapps.zip forget to installed
a.4). If none above meet, What Rom did u use?
a.5). I'm not expertise but i only write what i already doin'. In my case i do step by step and follow every detailed instruction been made and the result. Nothing goes wrong to my phone. And i very much enjoy it.
a.6). I have read bout ur issue. And there's alternative google play which is u can try. Or try flashing ur rom again tho. But do it on extreme carefull cz there's no guarante that d' answer but never the less. Every detailed information u provide it'll be very helpfull for me or other who more expert on this field regarding ur issue n can got a better understand on examine ur problem here.

I have this problem now since the other day. I can seem to install not all the apps I want to install from Play Store. For example, I can install Titanium Backup but not Solid Explorer Beta. I can perfectly browse the internet through my phone though. Why is this?
Had tried clearing cache and data of Google Play Store and Google Services but still no avail. Tried inputting account details from the Play Store directly but still the same problem. I finally I had done a clean install of CM9b1 with no any extra tweaks nor mods added but sadly problem is still there.

LOL mate,chill..Too many questions there that i can't really answer it lol.Ok,I am creating my first custom rom here.And i just copy and paste in the system/app directory then i repacked the cm9 based rom and flashed to my phone to test it and the play store crash.What could be wrong here?

Just install googleplay.apk from outsource ,works. :beer:

It cause by the google play have a strict policy on collecting info about every detail information regarding phone we use to make sure every app we download will 90% compatible with our phone. Every single phone already been registered on google play database
such as:
1. Phone model
2. Procesor
3. Ram
4. Kernel
5. Stock rom
So when we change rom, google play doesnt recognise our device anymore because on google play database our phone doesnt exist.
As example:
Goggle play data:
1. Samsung galaxy w:
a). Stock rom; gingger beard 2.3.6
We change the rom as follow:
2. Samsung galaxy w:
a). Stock Rom: Cm9 mod
As mention above google play not knowledge our phone anymore that's why it'll reject our request to download or update app. Bcause on google play database samsung galaxy w rom should be gingger beard not a cm9 mod

Like i said above to make google play work again we somehow have to make our Cm9 rom to be recognise by google play.
And all the tips i say above maybe somehow make google play think my cm9 rom are gingger beard 2.3.6 with lil modification that google play still tolerate it.
Have u try my tips above?
Or u can try install google play from out sources. But whatever the cases its a very complicated system.
See the global picture "U must make ur phone as similiar as the Base phone model, so google play can recognise it"

1. Very nice job mate. To repackaged n built ur own.
2. Its very hard task to do mate:
a). U must have a complete knowledge on how cm9 been built (which is i'm sure, its very complicated things)
a.1). To actualy gain it. You must comunicate with the builder in this case arco68.
a.2). After u got the knowledge then u must re-code the program (google play) behaviour in order to make it able to run on cm9.
3. Without those above. I dont think it can be done. Because google is a system on rom base. It cant stand alone like others app. U can't just put it on system n hopes it'll works. U must make it united with the system first.

Its easy mate, see bellow:
A) What ROM do u use?
a.1). If Stock Rom. Just do factory data reset. But make sure u do back up data first. Since all data will lost.
a.2). If CM9 Rom, do have any back up data before u install d google app? If any just restore it via CWM recovery
a.3). If CM9 rom not have nandroid back up. Im very sorry u need to re-flash CM9. Wipe cache/Wipe dalvik cache/Wipe batere/Fix permision/install CM9/Instalk Gapps.zip. there i bet ur google play will run smooth as ever. And if u still can't downloaded app via gplay. I suggest u can follow my tips above, if still not do. Try emptying ur apn proxy n port. Or deleted ur gplay account then re-add it.

[Q] Wildfire S on CM10 ERRORS for Dataa Network , Camera & SPACE

Hi guys..thanks for doin all this & creating a forum where novices can do a lot !!
Iv rooted & flahsed CM10 on my Wildfire S in India but im continuously facing problems on CM10 as follows :
1) I cant Sync my contacts with FB or Google / Whatsapp
2) Camera doesnt works properly
3) Data Network ceases ; i have to reboot a lot of times to restart data so that my email , FB , Whatsapp runs & Syncs ad the ni get all delayed emails etc etc
4) Biggest thing why i did al these things was to increase internal memory so i can have as many as applications i WANT. But this only upgrades the system and not the internal memory. Even after using Link2SD & apps2SD application files are still on internal memory which sucks.
ALL EFFORTS WASTED.
How can i go back / degrade to HTC Sense / version 2.3.5 or something really working completely for Wildfires S.

Which Version CM10 did you have ? is it Ben CM10 , Modpunk CM10 or Dudeman1996 CM10 ? I think you still new here :highfive:

Do a fresh install and flash data2sd zip to increase your internal memory...
i am using ben's cm10 and contacts sync for me.. so if u r using d same them u did something wrong....
Reflash with complete wipe..
Flash gapps...
Flash data2sd zip...(ext4 partition only..)
And that shud solve ur prob and put u back in business...

Thanks for the reply... I have used " cm-10.0.0-RC0-CRYPTOMILK-ALPHA1-marvel " and installed Link2SD after installing " gapps-jb-20120726-lite-rebased " . But after installing some applications now again my internal memory is only 26MB remaining. I am facing problems with Data network connectivity = my emails , whatsapp , FB n other Sync apoplications Google Contacts Sync also doesnt work properly. AND when i get call my screen is BLANK = BLACK. i need to open the screen lock 2 - 3 times then i can see the SCREEN...but this happen occasionally...
Please give me a link if u can to download Ben's CM10...AND does this vary for region to region im in India , Asia using Vodafone Network GSM network.

I am from india too...
Bens work is in the first page of the development thread... and everything works fine for me... use data2sd.. use cwm recovery only, its best for flashing roms and data2sd scripts...

I have used CWM recovery only to install CM10 via this link....but worried about the Data2SD app....the reveiws abt this app frightened me....i had also made my device not working by installing S2E app, after which the device wasnt booting at ALL....the nhad to re do all to get it going...any ways to increase the internal memory or permanenetly link it to SD card so all apps can be transfeerred completely to SD card and not just linking it to SD via Link2SD...

bro which handset ru using ?? i have HTC wildfire S having only 150 MB of internal memory....
i have aboyut 63 System Apps and only 13 Aps like FB , evernote , maps etc...but my free memory is only 23 MB...not Facebook contacts are synced to avoid excess memory use on FB....how come u have 1GB memory on internal on wildfire S ??
have i done mistakes in installing CM10 on my phone ?? i have to always disable & the nenable data because im not able to use net on real time. It disconects in between a lot of times...
Please help & suggest me the procedure to do it again ...

Htc wildfire s only bro....
I am running data2sd script after partitioning sd card to 1gb...
I use benjamingwyn's cm10 version...
And there is no network prob for me...

Root # All Data2SD card is this the APP ? coz when i search for Data2Sd on Google play store it showed up "Root # All Data2SD card " only.
I just wanted to confirm if i can delete all apps and then install Data2SD. After this i wud reinstall all apps all over again. I just do not want to flash the CM10 all over again completely. Will this work ???

Data2sd is a script and not a app...
Plz don't install anything from the playstore... its better u check out the forums of xda instead. Search for cronmod int2ext+ signed...
Its a flashable zip which u have to flash after installing a fresh copy of ur rom...

plus one for the mobile data, been using cm10 which ih8ra!n mod, and having internet problem..
Since cm10 from seem to be having positive respond, will try it later on..
on the other hand, try cronmod int2ext+ for internal storage, partition your micro sd card first..

I use Ben's CM10 and data transfer works great for me.
Only camera preview is still buggy but it is usable rom now.

dude in my opinion if you want a rom for daily stable use cm10 is definitely not a choice now...for cm10,cm9 use int2ext+... it is faster than data2sd... (http://d-h.st/1vK) this is signed version....

the above is a cm10 mod by iH8ra!n... i checked it... camera is not fully supported, and little laggy in scrolling... but no internet problems as like you said... so i think it will be suitable for you... int2ext4+ is supported by that rom... download links for everything is given in the post... try it....

Hi people,
I've recently installed CM10 Nightlies and when I'm receiving calls my screen won't come up 'till I press Power button.
Does anyone have solution ?
