Here is a list of all Desire kernels with download links:
HTC Desire Kernels
My personal choice:
Gingercakes 0.8e CFS no2way SVS
(Good battery, stable, fast)
I have already posted this list in Tamirda's Revolution rom thread, but I thought many of you might need it, so I posted it here as well.
Can you please post a list of stable HTC Desire ROMs???
Pick up your lazy butt and try them yourself!

Hmm. The kernel names are the same. I don't speak Spanish and I always find the kernel I want... It was the only resource of its kind so I thought it would help others. Guess I was wrong... Sorry.

Good job!

I have the Ginger Villain Rom and I have low usb transfer speed.
As I read in rom's topic I can fix it by changing the Kernel to 2.6.35,
the current is [email protected] #882 and as I said the usb transfer speed is very low.
Can someone suggest me a 2.6.35, compatible, rom to load to fix it?
Thanks!

My boyfriend has an HTC Desire 4g, and it is doing the 'crazy screen' thing where it presses random keyes by itself. After some googling, I was led here where I've seen people with the same issue told to change their kernel. I have no idea what that is, or how to change it, or whick link to choose from this list. Could someone please help us with this??

This is the desire (bravo) thread, the other is a different desire so you will have to find that thread, try scanning the phone and sd card for viruses.

Tnx

gingersense perhaps or supernova
they are the only ones I can think of which were built for data2sd - but check out the dev section and the index should help

He can manually enable it in every rom that supports init.d scripts. But if his profficiency isn't high enough, I'd agree with you and suggest sticking to droidzone's roms.

I ask it here because some roms in your link have bugs and are not daily use oriented. So, im here to know is someone found a stable data2sd rom with GB and sense. In this case search function is not usefull to have feedbacks

There are requirements every rom needs which are stated in the main post. If you download cm7 version you need cm7 hboot. Then you must decide if you want something built around newest official release or you want a port, a 2.1+3.0 hybrid etc.
But as you wrote in such fashion your first post, it seems you have some reading to do nevertheless as it seems you mix a rom and hboot. Sorry if I'm wrong.

Try oxygen 2.2.1 which is fast, stable, fully functional, works with stock hboot and is running gb 2.3.5 - its what I'm using right now. Its not sense but its a great rom.
You wont find it on xda as the dev has started his own forum - search google for oxygen forum

Guys, cool it, there's no need to be hostile. XDA is all about helping others, and the Search function, as we all know, is far from perfect. It's not the most efficient way to get to the bottom of what msdl28712 was asking--which is user's feedback of different ROMs. Actually, this is the most efficient way of getting that info: by posting and letting users answer, then let the post sink into oblivion a few days afterwards. So you don't have to PMS over something so trivial.
As to which ROMs are fast, I find that Oxygen and InsertCoin are the fastest GingerBread ROMs. Oxygen is AOSP, built with minimal hacks, while InsertCoin has Sense 2.1 from HTC. They're both lean, as can be seen from the less than 60Mb-sized zip files (less half the size of other ROMs like LeeDroid or Stock ROoted GB). MIUI is pretty slim too, only 85Mb zipped, although that's because the English language pack is itself 25Mb. If you're Chinese, then MIUI is only 60Mb zipped, which makes it a lean, sexy ROM like Oxygen. Those 3 recommended ROMs I've used myself, and have had not one single bootloop (I always do full wipe before flashing, even if I'm flashing a newer version of the same ROM). I think those 3 are the cream of the crop.
I haven't tried your others yet, but that's because I've been so happy with InsertCoin.
I haven't had any issues at all and is nice and smooth. Also the tutorials on the Devs own site are really useful.
no sense but dont mind either way as long as its a good rom have tried many roms before im more looking for roms that are not well known if possible thanks

Well, if you are after fast then I can recommend the dGB ROM. I'm currently useing it and very satisfied. Although one might find it too "basic" (/system is only 60 mb)

Cyanogenmod 7.1 is smooth, fast and sstable. Best for your needs.
If u need sense like Widgets they are available on market.
Lots of internal memory space as well.
Plus good battery life.
Download ice theme and go launcher ex, best rom there.

Omg I hope I don't see this right. I don't know who opened another of these stupidity threads. Should I start spamming links?
SwiftKeyed from my HTC Desire using XDA App.
Oxygen 2.3.2, with dalvik-to-SD zip flashed afterwards is really fast, great battery and plenty of space.
You can get more space by flashing the Bravo Sense or CM7r2 hboots before flashing the ROM.
I have the Bravo Sense hboot at the moment with the above setup and have 163 MB free even though I have 54 apps installed. There would be even more free space with the CM7r2 hboot, I just can't be bothered reflashing right now!
Search google for Oxygen forums.
I'm using insertcoin which runs very smoothly with no problems. I would recommend you try this

i don't know anything about wildpuzzle, but you can try RemPuzzleRom which is a remake of the wildpuzzle but it is actual with working links)
I recommend using Rempuzzle, as the original Wildpuzzle was discontinued while Rempuzzle is still actively developed (Rempuzzle is based on wildpuzzle)

hehehe mine doesn't, I'm set to 528 on rempuzzle rom and its still as fast as I've had cm7 running at 768. Sometimes faster isn't always better imo.
I totally agree with scratch, rempuzzle runs smooth as butter on 528 for me too. But yes its o/c enabled.

Don't talk rubbish. It's under development and is not fully functional. End.

Rempuzzle can't be compared to.miui at this stage since rempuzzle is awesome and is much stable than miui.

I installed RemPuzzle yesterday, and it's really great. But I didn't find how to set cpu speed. Am I missing something. I must admit, I'm far from good in android even I have phone more than a year. I changed several times ROM's but till RemPuzzle, I thaught that CM7 is best. Now, I enjoy in sense again
And one more thing, I updated to 2.42 version, and than my Root explorer is lost?
You need to install an app called SetCPU.
You can get it free here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505419
Download Esfileexplorer free from market, enable root from settings and mount as writable. Just as good if not better.

you can provide the link for yourself by looking,.. "because you are senior and know well" is no excuse...doesn't matter how senior any user is, you always have the ability to search
before just flashing the first rom that someone suggests, i recommend slowing down...do you know why you even want 2.3.7 over 2.3.3, and do you even know any differences? if you want a custom rom, try a few and see for yourself what you like.
guidance for everything is found by searching, but i'll start you off here
