So yesterday I noticed that Google plus was removed from my device. I went to download it but it now says its incompatible......
when I look at the flash page in the market it says its: incompatible as well however is still installed. About half of the apps I view are apparently incompatible!!!
Has anyone experienced this before? How do I fix it and what the heck causes it?
I'm counting on you awesome sgs2 brethren

You will see more apps available if you downgrade your market. Not sure the version. This is the best workaround I know, or do what I do. I just push my density to stock when I need an app or once a week to look for updates. All it takes is a quick edit and a reboot...

It's part of ICS. Was a little odd to see at first, but a handy way of switching keyboards. I suggest you get used to it cause future versions might still have this as part of the OS.

Just search the threads for how to root your phone. Its easy takes about 10-15 minutes not even. Then after you have root, download the app from the play store and uninstall anything you want, just be careful not to uninstall the wrong thing.

Looking for a solution on this. I'm currently running TechNiqCality 1.2, and after about a week my Google play store is reverting itself to an old version and telling me apps are incompatible. I've tried clearing data, which does nothing, I've reinstalled the ROM which helps for a bit but then it happens again. I've checked online to make sure the store is reading the phone correctly, no issue there either. Anyone have any thoughts? I haven't changed any settings, it just happens out of the blue.

Yeah I changed it to 200. That's probably why I can't download it but I really don't wanna change it and change it back

Unless there is another dpi close to 200 that will allow me to not have a device uncompatible notice.

Let me get on my computer, I have modded market to make the market think it's a 240dpi. Gimme a sec
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
The next DPI that would not influence the market is 160. But thats really bad on our S2s. Gives a lot of errors due to everything thinking its a tablet.
Or you can do 240 dpi
But here is a flashable ZIP that will put a modded market and GSF onto the device. I personally modded the market but i had troubles with the GSF but someone already modded it. Cant remember who but thanks to them
Alright what you need to do.
Go into your apps slide to "all" find Google Play store and Google Services Framework, force stop both of them, and clear data on both of them. reboot to recovery and flash attached zip. You must clear data for them both in order for the patch to take effect.

After you change it back to default, you need to open up settings apps and find the play store and google services framework and clear data for both those apps then relaunch the play store.
There are modded markets that removes DPI variable and replaces it with a stock DPI setting.
You can try this one its not the one i use but its close. They give options to both inverted or not. If it doesnt work for you then i'll upload the zip that i have i just hate not giving credit to whoever modded it. I can also mod the market to remove just the DPI and leave everything else the same too. As some modded markets give errors because they mod too much. But the one i posted in the link seems pretty promising.

Don't open it. Lol. It's a flashable zip update. Flash it in recovery. It's saying it's not supported because you don't have an app which can handle zip files. Like root explorer for instance.
