heres what lead up to the problem

hi...
first of all, sorry for my english....
i need help with installing a new custom rom
how can i push the zip file to sd card trough usb cable?
i partitioned my sd card( it was not purposely) so i have deleted all my files, and i cant boot into rom because its not installed.
when i turn my phone on, the first what shows up is bootloader....
so, can somebody help?
I learned from my other topic today that you can mount the SD card in recovery mode (thanks TheGhost1233 ). Just boot into HBOOT and choose the recovery. After that go to mounts and mount the SD card. Your computer will detect it as mass storage and you can copy your ROM to the SD card. Good luck
tnx, its working
So today i wanted to flash an old backup to my desire, but when i tried to restore, CWM couldnt find the sd card (i get no such file or directory)
Its wierd becouse i tried 2 different cards and they both work in android but fail to mount in CWM.
Any ideas how to fix this ?
Do you have a card reader to test the SD card? I had a simular problem, had to delete and completely re-partition my card
Yes i have a card reader and they work fine in there.Ill try to format both card tommorow and if it doesnt help ill flash original RUU and reroot it.
Hopefully then i can get CWM to find my cards.
Quick help: I decided to flash this rom after rooting the One X. But i forgot to put the rom file into the internal SD, i flashed the boot.img and it's in a boot loop. How do i get it out? Thanks!
I suppose you do have the latest cwm. If not, download it and flash it.
After that, go to recovery and there should be a option to mount sd.
Select it and your pc should Recognize the sd card.
After that, put rom on sd and flash as usual.
I mounted the SD card but when i attempted to connect the phone to the PC, it does not show anything. The phone shows unmount/ SD Card

Do you have the recovery from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819 ?
If yes, connect your phone to pc first before you select mount usb storage
