This is pretty much gathering data to perhaps help other users who are having issues with network drops or switching. Thanks for the feedback.

Live just outside of Baltimore and work in Towson. Usually get at least three to four bars of 4g consistently with no issues.

San Diego, CA here. Data is fast and 4G LTE almost never drops. Handoff between CDMA and LTE is very fast also.
I've had some problems in the Lawrenceville/Suwanee/Buford area in Gwinnett County in Georgia but when I'm actually in Atlanta no problems really.
Boise Idaho no problems.

I'm in Houston and there was only 2 locations of the city where I was getting lte a few weeks ago but about 2 1/2 weeks ago, I no longer got lte in those areas anymore. I was thinking that sprint was just in the testing phase. But I've been all over Houston and have no gotten an lte connection. I got a faint one yesterday over the Northwest side of town but it lasted for about 5 seconds.
I just hope we get it soon

That's not bad considering you have no bars. Try turning the phone upside down. Sometimes you can get better signal that way since the antennas are on the bottom. Of course its not going to be real world performance as you would not normally hold your phone that way.

You can grab Phone Info and set your radio to LTE Only. If you still have data, then you are not 'trippin' and have an LTE connection.
What is your speed though? I'm getting pretty good speeds here in the D.C area.
It was only on for a bit, my speeds were no where near what you got.
