I doubt someone would go so far as to create a fake clock widget. Yeah the bezel to bezel screen was also reported for the "iPhone 5" but people were brought down by the 4s. Definitely not bad looking though and I want it!

It actually looks good and besides, the keys can be easily handled by a dev. Hopefully Samsung is quick to release the GS3 earlier than they released the GS2.
By the time I am ready to upgrade my phone again (mid 2013), hopefully, there will be a galaxy s4.

I know it's an unofficial concept image, but, it's likely right on--roughly speaking. It's time for these companies to stop just achieving design parity with Apple and actually surpassing them. They have an entire fncking year to do it every. single. time. Our specs slaughter the iPhone, constantly...for years now. Time to leapfrog in the physical design department.

Just do this and I'll be content. If they really want to make me happy, higherres screen and quad proc but I'd be satisfied with the sgs2 with a supped up radio. (including the wifi part)

Since its a rendered image, it may not exist but so many people are liking that widget, it wouldn't surprise me if someone is making it if its not real

I certainly hope that isn't a real clock widget... If you look at the month dial, it reflects the wrong month where "Jun" is. Should be "Jul".

Looks like Nokia's first Windows Phone has been leaked by the CEO no less. It looks a lot like the recently announced N9, but no word on what the internal specs are. It will have to blow the current generation of phones out of the water for me to give up the Super AMOLED screen on my Focus.

Or, you could say that rounded phones are a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Pulling a square-edged, boxy phone out of my pocket can be a real pain, but a phone that has nice rounded corners is not a problem at all.
And personally, boxy = ugly to me.

Yeah, the Sensation is aptly named. I would love to have one. But I can't see anything wrong with this WP7 Nokia device. Imagine it in some other colors.

Since they are on-screen buttons, they can be minimized or disappear altogether during a game or open app. This would completely eliminate the accidental press of these buttons.

I have never seen it run smoother in my life. Holy crap.
To be fair Touchwiz is, well, cheezy as hell...but...I like it more than Sense, which I also hate. It's more stock-like than sense and nowhere near as fat....too ugly looking though.
I like Touchwiz (I'm also a big fan of MIUI). Even if it's a rip-off of iPhone, it's still Android we all love.
I have everything set up to my standards and am just trying out touchwiz. The folders help now. I just hope we get the ability to do a little more. I am just letting it charge now.

Yeah it was, I sold that damn phone within the first month of owning it, ended up buying the EVO 4G, what an upgrade lol.
Look for a way to get into a developer group so we can get this thing rooted and make it usable. I'm way to use to having a rooted device.

Perhaps LP uses those same hooks (I though it was all UI elements via the existing UI API). Launcher pro is so smooth that I don't even care if it isn't accelerated (which I think it is).

Popped in my 16GB SD card, installed ADW Pro Launcher and Handcent. This phone is crazy fast.
Came from an Epic 4g, and this is my first all touch phone. I'll say with the giant screen size, my sausage fingers do quite well and rarely make a mistake. First thing I did though was pop in a 16gb card I had floating around, reinstall most of my apps, and then set it up how I wanted it. I actually don't mind Touchwiz 4.0 at all.

I don't think micro USB will be replaced in the near future as it is standardized in the European Union. As you said it's probably dock connector in addition to the micro USB. Or maybe something radically new.

Hmm if the thicker part is the bottom then it looks like we're looking at the right side of the phone. Maybe the three dots is a sensor-type camera shutter key so you don't shake the phone like you sometimes do when pressing a hardware shutter key?

The photo shows it has two ‘humps’ on the rear of the device; camera on the right; loudspeaker and radios on the left. The curve of the screen isn’t as dramatic as first thought, it’s actually quite flat in comparison to the curved blue glow that is atop of it. Check the article again. Looks like they made a little uh-oh: the LTE Nexus on the left isn't properly rotated to the side orientation. If you look carefully, you can see that some of the thickness is entirely due to the perspective - you are look at part of its back. They have updated it with the correct view:
I think that someone has doctored that image put up here. If you see the image on the indicated droid-life website, then the LTE version does not look massively thicker.

something that needs to be mentioned - the colour of the phone is pertinent with regard to perceived thickness
the LTE version seems to be all black, whereas the GSM version has lighter tapering with a darker middle-section.
this does make a difference to perceived thickness
All of these things aside...I'm still scared that Verizon hasn't announced a release date. Supposedly they were going to announce *today* when the phone would be released...and we've seen nothing. Google now even has a picture of the LTE version on their site, which *should* coincide with a release notification of some kind (almost always does, in the phone world)...and yet Verizon is staying silent.
When Verizon doesn't speak...it always scares me.

Why would it be kinda strange? I'm good with my hands, need something to do to keep them busy, and I'm well paid for that kinda work.

Just my little opinion, because my hands are just bad for this. I can focus on certain thing like this, but bad hands will make me to give up before i see too many red dot on my fingers.
BTW Goob Jobs, customer at Cold States will get interested in it.

Those are probably the tiniest needles I've ever worked on. About the thickness of a toothpick. Shipping it to Germany would be the cheapest part of the endeavor. It would be about $40-$50 plus a few $ for shipping. (I ask this much, because that's what I charge my normal customers, it just seems so expensive for such a small item.) Not like it matters much, but the yarn is cashmere.

Ah. I've got great hand for this. Medium. They're muscular though, because of all the work I do with them. Small needles (smaller than #2) are annoying, due to hand size.
I know! We're just finishing recovering from a snow/ice/freezing rain storm here in Seattle. My poor Lumia was shivering.

Thanks! Not sure how much use I'll get out of this. Actually, it turned out a bit short. I forgot to compensate for a seam allowance at the bottom and it took up the .25" slack I had planned for. So, I'm making a cuff and putting it on. It'll really look like a sock soon.
