Selling inc2 - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Hey all,
N00b question but where can I sell my inc2 on xda? When I log in, the marketplace link only shows daily deals.
Thanks

You may need to increase your post count.
10 posts will let you post links more to sell in the market.
It is to establish credibility.
Good luck. .

I think you are right, sir. Thank you for the quick reply.

need moderator??!!

i think the diamond section is in a great need of one/one more moderator.
there are posts to be moved and posts to be trashed. i also suggest that besides diamond, diamond rom development and diamond accessories to add a diamond trash where to be able to move all the "does the diamond have a led?" threads.
taking this job and responsibility it will be my way of saying "thank you" to this forum.
shameless self promotion?
I want to be a mod, but i dont have a diamond but im online most of the time or at least an hour a day here in xda-dev. Im just saying if anyone is considering.

or plain and simple ...suicidal ??
"does the diamond have a led?" is a good question! must know the signal status! something important to someone better than does the diamond run Iphone apps?
Moderators are only part of the solution.
Every registered user has the ability to report posts/threads to the enitre moderation team. Use the little triangle with the ! in it.
This is alo a good way to make us aware of forums where there is a true need for additional Mods.

He has a point!
Also, mrvanx, who in my mind is the most active mod in the Diamond forums, does an astounding job clearing the trash.

question: does a mod need to know about the topics or just remove the trash
i want be a mod,im 5-6 hours around here, especially when i'm on work,i know what to do,and i'm not a mod on any other site,so i'll have plenty of time for this one...but then again who the hell is going to give it to me

I am sure if you really stay around and help out by showing mods all the junk needing to be removed they may pay you some attention mate ...
i do my duty as a member...report spams, advertising, fighting, care what i type, don't ask stupid or asked questions, help others solve their problems,so don't worry...and i'd feel weird if i get it...i mean you are here longer,so more active,i think....but look it the other way...if you are here longer, and have over 3500 posts...what's wrong with you...why aren't you noticed...do you report
just asking,not insulting
and as i could see the idea wasn't promoted by a mod...so does anyone ask them about it

Well maybe I am too conflicting and not a conformist. Who knows . All I do is help all , run a ftp , write reviews on all roms i test trying to cover them all and hopefully will aquire some other phones to test more roms in other areas on ....
well when we are speaking about mods...one question...there are forums that don't count posts in off topic threads...should you do it here
i mean lots of guys got their posts by complaining about wifes, husbands, what music they listen to,writing jokes....this isn't fair...first time i went to off topic and posted was yesterday...other 100 posts were kinda help to others...artemis,atom,hermes and magician forums...because i have the devices, and i test everything and give review and help
well the number of posts isn't too important, but is something that is watched when e.g. giving apps and roms to beta testers...they give it to guys with most posts...which they gained in off topic...so there is no real knowledge and developer creativity in them
one more thing...would it be good to make these "thanks" buttons like those guys on pdaviet have...so we don't get lost in thanking, but get to the piont....would it require changing vBulletin
lol...i prob wouldnt come close to qualifying...

well read my post above....that about "off-topicers"
Ok off topic we have another thief stealing work from xda and selling on ebay ..... I just wrote a note to ebay and ask all that read do the same ..... here is my note .....
I noticed an item is being sold that is not the property of the seller. How I know is I am a member of XDA forum which is where the software was designed. it is Item number: 250269408312. Many memebrs and admin from the site have contacted and sent letters to ebay in the past refring to items such as theese being sold here.
Here is the item # 250269408312

Dude, with those information-less posts you could be kicked finaly. You should test ROMs for your device and give feedback to the devs. Or try to help other members with problems. Additional there are many apps from xda-members you can test and give feedback about them.
good luck
I was actually wondering this as well. I'm in no hurry though lol. Is there a post requirement for moderators? (Just out of curiosity, I have no where near the experience I need )

There is no automatic "spam to come posts and be a mod".
There are criteria listed in the announcement in about xda forum (this one) when applications open...
Mainly demonstrating being helpful over a fairly long period of time and being a good example.
You will notice most mods have fairly high post counts though but it is not as a result of that.

[Q] Blocking PM usage to new members

Recently I've picked up on a trend where people are signing up to the site and then, without searching or reading the threads, they start to shoot off questions via PMs. Is there a way to ensure that new members do not have access to the PM function until they have a certain number of post of have been a member for a specific period of time (if you want to stop spam posting)?

I wish there were a way as well. I normally just have fun with them when I get a PM from someone who obviously didn't search or read. I've sent two users to lemon party dot com already.
So no reply from XDA?
If we extend the 10 post rule to PMs, that would probably increase the number of junk posts in other forums. The thinking is... "ok, I can't post in any development forum, and I can't PM anyone...I might as well inundate other sections with my question until I get a reply!"
...so, not sure it's the best solution.
How about the second suggestion then? They have to be a member for a certain period of time before the function is available to them?

I like tat this suggestion!! Set a Certain period of time.
But may I suggest, also implement 10 post. Of course with CAPTCHA implemented. (But implementing CAPTCHA, meant the WHOLE Global XDA posting will have CAPTCHA, will end up a GLOBAL Panic for DEV)

LMAO!
I do know a pretty annoying Rickroll site that could be useful for this.

I totally agree. The Q&A and General forums are getting inundated with "I can't post in the dev threads" questions. It's made matters worse. I think new users should be able to post in dev forums, but not create a thread their own in there.

Moderator question

I am sorry for starting a new thread but I am a new user on this site and I am using NRG's rom and would like to provide feedback. The site has a 10 post pre-requisite to post in developer forums. Is there any way to remove this early. I don't have too much to discuss on the forum otherwise.
Thanks for reading this.

There is no way to lower that, however, there no doubt is a General section where you can post regarding the ROM - also, where you might be able to post helping those who need help. You'll get to 10 posts in no time that way
Yeah I guess your right about that one. lol Fine!
Good call on asking politely instead of just spamming ten posts
Sent From My Fingers To Your Face.....
I generally like to be nice to the people that help others. Lol no point in pissing anyone off when I'm looking for answers. By the way you guys are awesome.

[Q] Unofficial Oxygen 2.3.2 port for DHD : Vibrate Modes

Hey,
I can't post in the dev thread because it's my first post.
This rom is perfect ! .. almost perfect
Its seems to be a bug in Settings>>Sound>>Vibrate
The mode "Only when not in Silent mode" doesn't work on my DHD.
Could someone who have the rights just post my feedback in this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1348425
Thx
Dude, you're only a mere 8 posts away from being able to post in the Dev forum.
Seriously... 8 posts. That's nothing. Just join some of the conversation that's occurring in the myriad and diverse forums on this site. If you are determined to be anti-social though ;-) I will post your bug to the thread of this awesome ROM... Let me know in this thread.
But then... if you respond to this reply, you will only be 7 posts away from Dev forum rights. See how that works? It's not a big requirement, bro.
Ok bro, I ll try...
I was just reading this sentence "Low quality posts will be deleted, especially when made simply to get to the 10 post threshold. " And wondering if my post would be high quality
Thanks anyway for your answer.
I think your posts are high enough quality so far, man. ;-)
Only 2 posts to go, too!
Thanks, I appreciate your help !
Only one left lol
