Hi!
I wonder if it possible to add corners to the Xperia arc launcher like this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1325108&highlight=arc
(these launcher won't install on Arc)
You mean to add corners to the stock launcher?
Maybe you could try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188048
Or just install the launcher from your link.
Installation doesn't work from the link i posted.
Maybe because it's same system (xperia home), or because my device is not rooted...
You have to be rooted or you try to use a custom launcher like that in my link.
If you decide to root your device, maybe this would be the right guide:

Just install another launcher, and there is no official way to root which is why you'll need to read one of the guides here showing you how.
stock launcher works fine for me..no laggg.. xD
It cannot be removed (maybe if you root and install custom rom but I don't recommend that since it will void your warranty).
You can however install a new one without any problems at all. Lots are available in Market. I know ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro at popular ones.

if you want to unistall it
then
1.root your device using the guides given in development forum
2.install root explorer (best explorer in the market available at this moment) or titanium backup (very easy to use)
3.remove se launcher
4.enjoy
rooting has many other benefits too
you will only be able to delete the home launcher if you have a 3rd party installed and set to default home launcher.
i have tried go launcher x and adw and launcher pro....i prefer launcher pro as you customise it much more.
the android market has plenty to choose from.

just to add on, you'll have to install a 3rd party launcher before you remove the SE home launcher. Otherwise, there will be nowhere your phone can launch to.
Popular 3rd party launchers are ADW and LauncherPro. I used Launcher Pro, and personally like it a lot, due to its customization capabilities. There are a lot of others too, you can search for "launchers" in the marketplace app.

i want to use xperia s home.apk but i cant change it on cyanogen mod (it uses trebuchet as default)
can anyone explain me how can i change it?
thanks!
(should i only rename home.apk to trebuchet.apk? jaj)
"i cant change it on cyanogen mod" is a bit vague - u gotta explain your problem...
r u sure installing unsigned apps is enabled?
Is the xperia s home not dependant on stock firmware? If so then you can't use it on cm9, aokp, miui etc. There's an xperia home for any rom in Android general, if that's any use.
install the apk or if you already did go to Trebechuet launcher in settings n pick clear defaults
Hi! Brothers and Sisters......
Good day to you from Myanmar.:fingers-crossed:
I'd like to know how to customize my arc S?
Don't want to use any custom ROM or something custom. I already tried and using the following:
1. Xperia S Live with Walkman port
2. Notification Toggle port
3. Default Themes change
4. Infinite View change
5. Onscreen button (already tried, but not work)
6. Xperia S Launcher (already tried but not using now)
So.... how can I customize or port something another great to my stock rom .587, Unlockedbootloader? Any great things left to add to my devices?
And also with stock firmware .587, my wifi signal is frequently lost especially when i enter to new address or new download even I stay beside the router. How can I fix this as Sony still don't fix that problem?
Thanks in advance for reading and your advices.
Sorry for my poor English language which makes you to fell something uncomfortable.
Have a nice day to all of Members and Guest. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
You'll need to learn to theme and/or develop.
