Hi everyone. I put this together while sitting in the airport for long layover. Use it if you like.

Use this with a rom/kernel that supports boot animations. Change file name to bootanimation.zip if needed.

Very cool. It's not going to pull me away from the "Haters Gonna Hate" boot animation, but it's definitely easier on the eyes that the ICS animation that has been in Calk's 2.0 and 2.5 recently.
This might be the best layover project ever.

Clean! I like it. Thanks for sharing.

is this a flashable zip??? or can u make this into one

Looks nice.

Do you have a link for that animation . TIA

Very nice. Does it take up the whole screen?

Very nice!

How could you make this usable on stock roms with stock kernels?

Use a different kernel. The kernel has to support bootanimations otherwise you're stuck using those dang .qmg boot images.

Yea I figured. Thanks.

Is this the blue "S"? You can use it on stock repacked kernel. I have it on Chris's EL13 kernel

Does anyone have default boot screen

Does anyone have default boot/splash screens? I need both screens "white htc evo" and other with "sprint 4G animation".
I have custom screen and they are loading way to slow (have Calkulin rom), Why?
Edit: Finally replaced first screen with:

How and using which files to replace second one (where originally is that 4G animation)?
Here's the stock splash screen.

Thanks. Can boot animation be flashed via POWER + VOL DOWN and flash .zip? If not how to do this ?
Here is stupid question to make sure that we are on same page:
Splash is originaly white with htc evo on it?
Boot screen is with "Sprint 4G on it?
Or I am wrong and it's opposite?
Once again sorry for lame questions but how can I change this, and what files to use?
Awesome rom but i hate this image

Anyone ? How to replace this one or stuck Spring 4G animation screen?
Use root explorer and go to /system/customize/resources and its called bootanimation.zip just replace it with the animation of your choice.
Not enough post for outside links. Pm sent with stock animation and sound.
Figure out. On Calkulin Rom is different directory - /system/media. Thanks.

[THEME] |BlacIce| for Racing19969 Skyrocket port

I didnt realy like the blue of the ics look so I began a theme that was just black and white.
This is for Racing19969 skyroket port only I have not tested It on anything else. Not that there is much else to test it on.
This is what I would call a rough draft of a theme I am still getting the hang of themeing ICS so not everytning is the way i would like it yet but it is a work in progress. I just thought i would give everyone some different choices.
Still working on getting all the blue and green out, the charging battery is still blue will get it in the next update and so are alot of the headers Cant find that file yet. Please leave a few ideas on what else to change I may or may not be able to do it but will try.
Instructions :
1. NANDROID BACKUP Always
2. Download Theme.zip via link below.
3. Place .zip on /sdcard
4. Flash via CWM
5. Enjoy!!
You may lose signal after flashing (has happened to me a few times) Just reboot and all will be good.

Things to do with ROM Toolbox (JRummy)?

Besides changing the Boot Animation, is it possible to use the Toolbox to theme my Nexus? Mine is root and has Gummy 1.0 installed.
I think it's much more convenient than flashing zips or flashing new ROMs. I love the customizability of this app.
Is it okay to install new fonts, change the themes, or boot logo? At least for the boot logo, they are asking for the device, but it doesn't have the GN listed as a support device.
Just wanna make sure before I get the pro version.
Thanks!!
Don't think the GNex has Boot Logo. Only animation.
It's *supposed* to work. Backup before you try anything.
I use the toolbox for all kinds of mods on my Gnex. I have flashed new fonts, battery icons, wifi icons and roms. It works great

New CM10 Boot Animation!!

Hey everyone!! Flashing this will give you the new CM10 boot animation! I'm sure noobnl will put it It very soon. This has been tested on Cm10 Nightly build 08242012. It should work on every other build too. I dont see why not. Just not sure about TouchWiz Roms. But until then here it is!! I really didn't do much I just packed it into a flashable zip!! So all credit is to CM and the people who made the boot animation. If it works on other ROM's then let me know!!
A thanks would be appreciated

Just extract the zip I provided and then in /system/media/ open the zip and edit the .jpg files and paint the cyanogemod part black? That's all I can think of. But will take some time to do. There is plenty of jpegs

This new CM10 bootanimation is very nice ! Thanks a lot for that :good:

[Q] Initial boot screen replacement?

Is there any way to replace that blindingly white screen with the green HTC logo, when you first turn on the phone? I know a lot of roms have custom loading screens to replace the droid eye/flashing system specs screen.
Check the themes and apps subforum, there's a bunch of them and links to more if you search.
