It's exacly what I was loocking for since I got my captivate.

That's funny I just ordered 2 as well with the same coupon code and just stumbled on this post. I got a black and a smoke color one (not listed on their site but emailed them). They have the exact same photos as Amzer so I assume they are the same thing or the same supplier.

I ordered mine on 8/4 and have the same processing message. I am wondering if this place actually had them in stock or is waiting for stock like places like Amzer. Had I known this place would delay I may not have placed the order. Especially since the site (and the postings on Ebay) claim that orders are sent within one business day.

nice find! will definitely work better for a temp car mount than the stupid iPhone 4 case I'm using now - scares me everytime I press a button on the phone that its gonna come flying off at me, even while connected to the USB charging cable! used the coupon code and it works, saved 30 cents, woohoo!

Elusive little critter. Saw $59 grey one at Fry's today and knew MacMall has it listed for $27 but not in stock. No one had in stock not even Newegg so the best I could do was price match to Best Buy for $49 since they don't show stock status. At least now my Note 10.1 doesn't feel vulnerable and naked. Like it but very minimal (overpriced) for even $30.

Thanks for the heads up. Can I check if the book cover comes with an original Samsung screen protector that is matte or anti-glare? I've been searching for this information for the longest time but can't find an answer.

It doesn't come with a screen protector.

That's what I thought as well, until a local Sasung customer staff told me the book cover comes with a screen protector.

For the MSRP of $60, you'd think that Samsung would have better quality control on these. The case I bought from Fry's (after price matching to Newegg) has nice bubbles on both sides of the case (the front flip; the backplate it fine). It appears that the bonding between the top material and the underlying hard plastic (or whatever) wasn't done properly at certain spots. You can press down and move the bubbles around, but you can't get those two layers to stick.
I went to Fry's to exchange it yesterday. The customer service was great and let me open another case, and it had the same problem. He went ahead and opened a white one, and that one was perfect. I'm hoping that this was just a bad batch and will be waiting for Fry's to receive additional stock to exchange it.

Book Cover Case Deals?

I'm trying to find a decent deal on an official white Samsung book cover case. I tried ebay, but no luck. I'd rather it be an official Samsung one because I've seen that the knockoffs interfere with the S-Pen. So, where can I get a decent deal? Thanks in advance.

How do they interfere with the spen?
I got one from eBay, a knock off but is identical to the overpriced Samsung one (probably made in the same factory as the "official" one) for 11 quid. The official one I got from amazon, paid 29 quid for it. But that was a while back. Maybe it depends which ebay seller you use?
Looking at them now, I use a different cover btw, I can't tell which is which lol.

There is a white one listed on Amazon for $36.82, sold by Amazon but listed as used:

If I didn't already have mine I'd probably buy it. Just FYI.

This would only be the case for cases that put a magnetic closure to jump on board with the them of iPad cases. I have never had on, so this is just here-say i saw in another XDA thread. Maybe another cause would be a knock-off case that was too tight, and pressured the tablet too much. Honestly i have nothing to speak from, as far a personal experience with these case issues. I am using a Blason brand black case that i got off of amazon for around $15. Only complaint, is that the edge flap the secures to top of the tablet to close the case, has gotten a bendy crease in it, that is only a minor inconvenience sometimes.

I have just received my Samsung Galaxy Note 10'1 case from amazon.co.uk, it was through the UK site but was a german company so took over a week to arrive but only £31.37, the company web site is www.avides.com, I am delighted with the case, I had a pleather one bought for about £15, this one washes it away, you can access the whole screen, there is a special slot for head phone jack so you don't have to removes to flip cover upward and you have easy access to pen. Jim

My fiancée got me a leather case that is actually for the Tab 2, so I tried cutting out a hole for my S-pen, this however, made the corner very weak and unable to hold that corner of the tablet in place.
It is still usable, but I'm looking for a lightweight case, similar to the official ipad cases with the magnetic screen cover. Where can I get something like this, cheap?

I can confirm that the knockoff I bought does interfere with the S-Pen. There are 6 circular magnets that run across about 2/3 down from the top. When I write in this area the sensitivity and accuracy are messed up but for some reason it's worse at the right side. Problem goes away as soon as I remove the case. I got mine from ebay.

I bought the official one from newegg and it also interferes with the screen at times. I write on this thing ALOT, at least 5 hours a day, so I notice it for sure. Every now and then it will take more pressure to write on top of the magnets. If i take the case off and put it back on everything is fine. I find myself taking the case off and on alot.

Got one off Ebay

I managed to get the 360 silver face and black leather band for $95 shipped. It is used but the guy said he used it once and didn't like it, he also got it for free as a promotion. So I figured for $95 I'll pick one up....

I hope it works out. Although claims from Ebay sellers are best taken with a grain of salt.

Yep, that is a good way to go!! Grabbed one off of CL (craiglist) for $85 and slapped a eBay $11 steel band on it and it is like new! No scratches, no cracks. Mine was still running the old (original OS) so I had to update it but other then that I could not be happier! What a deal on a great looking watch that also does a lot more!

As I said, I hope it works out.
I can say I also have purchased some things through EBay sellers that went "flawless". But I've also had buys from highly ranked Ebay sellers, that were far less than flawless.
I know a bad experience can occur with any seller, even big named stores. But I've had a more reliable overall experience with major stores.

Where can I buy the Samsung book cover at a good price?

Looking for a shop that sells internationally and has good prices and isn't scamazon. There are tons of ebay sellers with lookalike covers. They all say genuine, oem etc. I can't tell which ones are real and which are fakes. The only one I'm fairly sure is legit is from Korea and costs a fair bundle of money. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

ok well my question was where to buy the original case. i know some of the fakes are probably as good or better but it sucks taking a chance since it takes so long to get here

It's a case not the tablet itself as long as it protects the tablet what difference does it make? But hey it's your money just giving you another option and if you want an original cover just get from your Internet provider, that way you can the maximum possible price for something that a fake does the same for 10 bucks

I got a legit one from Conrad, for €40 (which is €20 cheaper than Samsung direct).

I bought a Moko cover, it only cost $15 but has a cover. It also covers the corners so if it's dropped it's pretty well protected. In the U.S. Amazon sells it.

I have an el-cheapo Chinese cover coming probably today or tomorrow. Will post comments/pics.
Have not found an affordable source for the official book cover. I'll try to pick it up when I'm travelling for work to a place where there is a Samsung store (none in my country).
Anybody tried the Samsung bluetooth keyboard? Any good?

I have just bought a new Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 Value Edition (that's what it's called here in Switzerland, it's the upgraded version with the octa core processor) and I am looking for a case that has a strap on the back that makes the tablet easier to hold with one hand, preferably a rotatable one but a static one would do as well, does anybody already have something like that for the 8 inch S2 version that he could suggest to me or has anybody heard of a good case with such a feature? Otterbox, Griffin etc. dont seem to sell any cases with a strap on the back for the Tab S2.

Ebay or Amazon my friend....used probably....
