i try re root phone again by using same Easy Rooting Toolkit and after restart nothing change
can you help me please
thanks
How do you update to 4.0.2.A.0.62?
And if you root your device again using zergRush method, all apps should get their su permissions again.
try rooting using Flashtool 0.4.2,
put phone to usb debug,
just let it switch on,
plug in usb cable,
see for the lock icon beside the thunder icon,
if it gray it cant be root (means not supported or something like that)
if it black, just click it, wait for the root process, when its done the phone will restart automatically.
and done, see the result for your self.

What you mean to say..."I have used the flashtool to root the official 2.3.2" when you "but still cannot turn on the phone..."
I'm sorry that I am HongKonger and hard to use english to have a conversation but I will try my best^^
I mean after I cannot turn on the arc, I have used "Flashtool"-a software of rooting,to root my arc be a official android 2.3.2 version. However I still cannot turn on my arc and still cannot work...
hard to read your english, however when your bootloader is not unlocked try the oficial SE ZEUS update program, if you have your bootloader unlocked take a look here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1126358 a lot of people had this with unlocked bootloader to prevent this disable OTA in settings menu

I have more questions after reading this...but I try to answer something.
Flashtool cannot root your ARC at the moment. You can use GingerBreak to root 2.3.2 and not 2.3.3. You can use Flashtool to flash different region firmware (debranding)
If your phone cannot be turned on...how did you manage to root it?

Do you mean flashtool is not use for root?

No. The FlashTool does not root your phone.
Just flash your phone again.
Use PC Companion to repair or use Update Service to flash it again.
If you must use FlashTool, watch this:

Of course ..
but flashing Unofficial kernel won't let it boot " as I know .. "
I had this problem when I tried to relock my bl and my mobile died for 5 hours cuz It was on unofficial kernel , I wasn't able to unlock it again , and not able to fix by Update service or pc companion ..
until I found that I should have just flashed the official Rom , then I was able to re-unlock the boot loader ..
and play Hack mode and kill my mobile with Cutom Roms again ...
oh okay. Flashing now

Heres the story...before updating to 4.3 -10.4.b.0.569 my zl was rooted very simply with one click root...
BUT NOW
with the FW updated via pc companion (4.3),i have no longer access to recovery when pressing VOL and power...no green or whatever colored LED is showing up
when trying to root it says ADB out of date,killing...tried the FIX ,no success
looks like root cannot access the phone...when trying with Oneclick Roout,it recognises the phone but stops at the very end saying...
Sorry dumbass...it wont work hahaha (not really that but:silly
cheers
Use doomlords rootkit to root and obviously after flashing stock cwm is gone!
Sent from my C6502 using xda app-developers app
sorry ive misread....i knew i would lost cwm but it appears i cant root anymore.Ive tried doomlord, oneclick root and nothing is working...
ive read somewhere that if i want to re root i had to go back to 4.2 and do a million things to re root with dual recov...never tried that before with dual recov...not even sure how it works
On doomlord it says that my ADB server is out of date...ive installed pc companion 2 days ago.....ive installed adb drivers installer software and it says its up to date
what should i do next ??
cheers

rooting Xperia T is realy easy :
there is no problem if you are on 18.1.A.1.14. it's explained in Google...
if you are on 18.1.a.1.21 :
Flash only the kernel 18.1.a.1.14 with Flashtool.
start the phone and connected it to PC (even if the phone is blocked on "updating apps")
Root the phone with RootKitXperia (last version is 20140719)
shutdown the phone
Flash only the kernel 18.1.a.1.21 with Flashtool.
start the phone
run SuperSu and accept upgrade.
in order to well connect the phone to PC you need to allow debbug USB, and to put the scard in MSC mode

HERE is the easiest way to root latest firmware.
Hey there, I could use some help with this whole root thing as well...
My Z1C is still on .108, but now all the tutorials seem to be for .157 and include flashing with a .108 stock rom???
So do I have to update my Xperia first, then flash it with an older version, root it and flash it with .157???
Some tutorials seem to be removed since they "don't work with the latest firmware anymore"...
Also how do I backup my phone before I root it?
Thanks.
I hope this helps...

Well let me help you both with this, since I have spent around three days wasting my time figuring out how to root the Z1C which appeared later on that I have downloaded the wrong files because the thread it self was providing the kernels for Z1 and not the Z1C. So this is what I did:
It is ok to update your phone to .157 so go on with it, when done make sure your phone isn't connected and is switched off.
1- Download Flash tool from http://www.flashtool.net/downloads.php. After it downloads install it and JUST IN CASE you haven't installed the Z1C drivers go to Your C: drive and click the Flashtool folder then go to Flash tool drivers and you will find the Flashtool drivers installer. Click and install USB drivers and Fastboot drivers, scroll down and select Z1 compact drivers too.
2- Download the two required Z1C kernels and the RootTool as well from http://d-h.st/M9a make sure you Click the DOWNLOAD NOW button not the upper DOWNLOAD button because it is just a useless malware!
then place the two .ftf files in c:/flashtool/firmwares folder. Make sure you place the two '.ftf' files that are in the .zip in the firmware folders you can download them from the attachment too below.
3- Open the flash tool, Click on the flash button (top left) and choose the Flashtool method where you will find the two kernel files you placed in Firmwares folder.
4- Click once on the .108 Kernel and click flash, AFTER THAT press the volume down button on your phone while it is switched off and connect it to USB and wait for the Flash to start and end, it will take several seconds.
5- once it is done disconnect your phone and restart it by simply switching it on.
6- Unzip and place the rootkitXperia_20140719 folder better on your C: Drive. Connect your phone and run the tool by double clicking Install. bat (it might show only install as a name) and keep watching your phone screen to approve. Wait for it to be done and then restart your phone, then switch it off.
7- Follow the same method above to install the .157 Kernel again to your phone and you're done!
PM me if you needed anymore help. Sorry if my guidance is complicated a little bit, just let me know.
All the best!
Thanks for the help. I did however just root my .108 now because I really, really didn't want to unlock my bootloader and flash the kernel.

Really? Damn, must have misunderstood some of the guides. Thanks for the hint.
It's just a load of information at once, and this is my first Smartphone, so I didn't want to go overboard.
Is the .157 update even relevant in any way? And now that my phone is rooted, can't I just flash .157?
I think if you flash .157 you will lose root and will have to reroot by the method I mentioned.
I have D5503 with .157 Will I loose data using this method? If yes, is there a method to root the phone and save all data (including game saves, settings and everythink)?

No, not if you flash 108 kernel, root then flash 157 kernel back with flashtool.
When I run rootkit, it says "Waiting for device". Mobile is connected with PC companion. I have tried to install drivers, tried to change phone connect mode.... Do not know what is a problem. I do not have SD card in my device.
OK passed the "Waiting for device". Now stuck on "daemon started successfully"
So problem solved. The only problem was that the phone has hidden developer options where is USB debbuging. There is a little trick to open developer options so I have enabled USB debugging and than root works.
successfully rooted xperia z1 d5503 4.4.4
@emiratesson thanks i followed the instructions that you gave. At first im having a problem in flashing the 108 because my pc companion is ON im getting errors. I noticed that even though i flash 108 i still have firmware 157 because my current FW is 157 no changes and i tried to root it using rootkitXperia_20140719 still in 157 and a SuperSU app was created in my phone i guess that is the root app.
Current Build: xperia z1 d5503 4.4.4 firmware 157.
