Photo upload software/apps - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knew of a good app or method for instant backup of your photos/videos without having to manually copy and paste while connected to PC.
I'm currently using Google+ and it's instant upload feature to back everything up but would like something different since some of the pics I don't want to share with the world/google.
I'm fine with paid apps as long as it gets the job done, but free apps are always better.

default setting for google+ instant upload is private. so you're not sharing to the world, but only to both google and you.
if you don't mind to spend some money, "dropsnap" app is quite good for instant upload to dropbox (free 2gb cloud storage, can pay if want more)

Dropsync with Dropbox works great for me. As soon as I connect to wifi all the photos on my phone are uploaded to my private photos folder in Dropbox.

Live video streaming to cloud?

OK. Because of ICS I am having a hard time finding something to suit my needs.
I work a lot with professional musicians and like to record and upload video information. I am also into political activism, and what I would like is a video app that records and streams/uploads to a cloud as you record or shortly after.
I used to use QIK, but it isn't available. After sideloading it, it has now become a limited service. (On my EVO it was unlimited, now it's like 50 videos or something)
Any way to upload videos this way, avoiding Facebook, Twitter, and all the other ways that publish directly to social media sites?
I liked this option because I could record like 5-6 takes and only "share" the one I like on Facebook or Twitter. Thank you in advance.
Have you already tried Justin.tv Broadcaster? I don't know if it works with ICS and if the video quality is good.
You can use the Nexus camera app and upload later to the cloud via ftp.
No, thank you though. I'm hoping for something that uploads to a cloud I don't own. I have an FTP, but I'm hoping for something easier.

[Q] pics and videos on google+ and/or picasa

i've a GS2 and all pictures and videos i take are saved on the phone's internal memory. I installed google+ and my pictures and videos upload directly to google+. Lately, my brother told me about picasa and since i need to manage my phone's memory, i was wondering if:
1- can the pictures and videos uploaded from my phone to google+ be saved on picasa too? and how?
2- to save memory on my 16gig GS2, can i delete the pics and videos from my phone once they are uploaded to picasa or google+?
3- If i get another android phone, can i easily access my pics and videos saved on google+ and/or picasa from the new phone ( the new GS3)?
I will appreciate any instructions or assistance on these questions since i am new to all this cloud thing.
1. I use picasa and when i have auto upload on in Google+ they are also automadically in picasa as well.
2. Yes you can.
3. You can use the gallery app that comes with the phone. if your setup with your google account you will see you pictures that are out in picasa as well.

Sync photos

On vanilla android, there is an option to "make an album available offline". My only assumption that this is for linking to some cloud-storage but what is it talking about? Google Photos? Can you use that with DropBox? Is there a way to use Google Photos without having it sharing with Google+ and what not?
Making an album available offline "should" cache/download selected Google albums to your phone such that they are available even when you in airplane mode. Having said that - all my Google account photos seem to be available, whether I'm on or offline. Also, photos uploaded into Google+ remain private unless you explicitly indicate who you want to share the photo/album to among your Google+ friends/circles.
I've also noticed that my albums whether in Picasaweb or Google+ are available and accessible from either web-app.
Dropbox, from the Dropbox app, has its separate "camera upload" feature to copy your photos to your dropbox folders. Select a private folder to keep your photos private.
But how do you get the pictures to Google Photos? You can't "sync" with DropBox, right, just auto upload? Must you have the photos go to Google+?

[FREE] 50GB Cloud Storage w/ Box.com

To get 50GB of storage at Box.com all you need to do is download & log into the Android app (apparently limited time offer) and you're automatically bumped to 50GB.
I got a buddy of mine set up with this where he uploaded his music to Box (since he doesn't have a computer to do it with he downloads music to his phone using the uTorrent app legal sources of music) and I have him using CloudAround Lite to stream all of the music from his Box account to his phone. It has some pretty sweet capabilities to stream from just about any cloud storage (only one allowed with free version) and lets you decide how much to cache on your phone (number of songs unfortunately, so you can't simply limit how much space the phone can use of your storage.) Plus the interface is not so bad either. It needs a bit of tweaking but the dude seems pretty interested in getting your feedback.
If you don't mind spending some coin, there's also FolderSync which is amazing for so many creative uses of cloud storage since it allows for one-way (to local or to remote) and the option to delete from source after sync which is pretty neat if you want to (for example) always have your pictures uploaded on to a cloud storage but not take up space once you have taken them and two-way sync which is just useful if you want to use it as backup type source.
Anyway, this definitely would help with the lack of storage regardless of what options you choose and makes uploading music to the cloud pretty easy and also gives you the ability to do what Google Music can't do: actually would let you sync music from your cloud storage on your virtual storage.
Does anyone this stack with the 50GB I already received for installing box on Touch Pad?

Unfortunately, no it doesn't stack.
Nice, shame it's got a 100mb max file size upload limit for free users though.
Thread regarding this already exists in general

sharing photos

Not specifically a note 2 question, but maybe someone can help me out. I've been trying to share pictures taken between my wife and I on our phones. I have note 2 now and she has galaxy s3. I've been using google drive with an uploader program and shared a folder on each drive so when I take a picture, it uploads to my drive and that folder is shared with my wife and vice versa. that works but its clunky as the drive app kind of sucks for displaying photos and drive videos play like crap on the phone.
I've done the same thing with dropbox and thats better as at least the app has a photo section but that apparently only works with photos taken on my phone, so photos from the folder that my wife shared with me don't show in the photo section.
google + uploads photos but of course those get resized which i'm not crazy about, but at least those will display in the gallery. What I finally did last night is to add my wifes email to my phone and sync to picassa. Now I can see the photos she takes in the gallery, but that is a rediculously unsecure way to share photos. I guess not bad if its your wife, but still giving anyone access to your email isn't great.
Plus while it works on the gallery now, the gallery interface leaves a lot to be desired, I now have like 20 albums sitting there with no way to say Gallery, just show me the few I want to see.
And I still have to use dropbox or drive to upload fullsize photos as I don't want all my photos resized.
