You can use recoveries from the sprint version. It's the EXACT same phone. No bricking included.

If you want to flash a custom Touchwiz ROM. You can.
You can also flash AOSP-Based ROMs. (CyanogenMOD, AOKP, PACman)

Every ROM? No. The kernel I linked to you should only be used if you're going to be flashing a touchwiz ROM.
AOSP ROMS use a different kernel that works with only AOSP-based ROMs.

I was looking at porting the Eclipse ROM from the Verizon Note 3 to T-Mobile but all the guides I've read don't help. Does anyone know how to go about porting such a rom? Or a guide that works so I can try it?
