Hello, I'm having a problem using Titanium Backup. Whenever I go on it, it states that it could not acquire root privileges:

I know that my device is indeed rooted so I tried to install BusyBox (as it said) and I get this error:
Anyone know how to fix this? A quick search turned up nothing.
do you have the superuser app?

I have but it showed no apps in the list.
Have you denied its root access by accident?

I would suggest the following, since both Titanium Backup and Busybox Installer think you aren't rooted:
1. Uninstall Titanium Backup.
2. Reroot your phone.
3. Reinstall Titanium Backup.

Having issue with TB on my Verizon Gnex. I backed up all my apps when I change to new rom and try to do a batch restore of all apps and data they will not restore. All apps show but notice all have line through them. What am I missing? Thx
Check on the main screen in titanium that it has root access and sees the sdcard directory. What happens when you try to restore? When an app has a line through it it means it's not currently installed.
Here is screen shot. When I run restore it goes thru the process but none of the apps get restored.

The version number for titanium is not the most current. Older version doesn't work with Ics. Update titanium then try again.
When I installed new version it let me restore but had to install each app individual, would not do a batch restore.
Found this today

Not a clue, reinstall it and see if happens.
Looks like a failed attempt to mount /system for binary updating

I have a rooted GN2 and I'm not able to get the OTA update and every time I bump my date up more and more it increases my update check for so many days. I read somewhere that I can reset that counter using Titanium Backup but I can not remember or find the thread where it stated which system app I needed to reset. Can someone help? TIA

Just rooted my g3
Are there any worthwhile apps that let me uninstall anything I want?
I would use an app called anttek app manager which allowed me to remove anything, but it's no longer in the play store.
I found the APK online, but someone the app won't install.
What else is out there?

So when I go to access the tethering menu, I'll get a settings crash. I'm on stock from stock kernel, rooted and can't figure out what bloat I may have removed or something that could have possibly caused this. Any ideas??

Have you used titanium backup or any other app that lets you freeze or uninstall bloatware? I got the same message when I uninstalled and then tried to open some T-mobile bloatware.
I have but not sure what did it.. Hmm
