Hi, I´m from Portugal anda i´ve a SONY ERICSSON XPERIA ARC S LT18i,Android 2.3.4. with latest 4.0.2.A.0.42 build.And i check Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says NO.
Is there possible to unlcok bootloader,how?

You can root but you cannot unlock the bootloader without using the testpoint method. To root your phone use DooMLoRD's files.
Not working...
I have tried with test point method today. It's pretty simple, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I got the START NAK: 03000A error... Was looking through setool forums and the main guy over there (the_laser) seems to have newer version of the tool that solves this problem. Not sure if we need setool with full dongle.

I think there should be a way to unlock our bootloaders. Maybe some former xperia devs might help.
Just flash another firmware like nordic version or else;-)

What does this have to do with firmware? I'm talking about bootloader. It's locked and we can't unlock it via "official" way.

I also have the same problem... i got my arc s rooted but no bootloader. i would love to install custom roms but its not getting easy.

thanks for the tip but from what i've known, they charge you for that... nothing against it for general public but i think that charging for something like that sounds like exploitation...

Well, if you can't unlock it via SE method you can buy it from them or Omnius and pay more if I remember right.

Connect your phone with PC companion and you should see the update notice if it rolled out in Romania. But if you dont get it, grab the ftf file from xda and flash via flashtool. there are many guides available for that.

Lo actualicé con Companion.
Que firmware tenes? Yo tenia 2.45 y nunca me saltaba ninguna actualización. Después hice la primera parte de actualizar a .55 y cuando lo conecté me apareció que estaba disponible el update de 2.45 a .55, lo hice y hoy a la mañana cuando lo conecté me aparecio para actualizar de .55 a JB
Al igual que vos tengo lockeado el BL.

You did the full wipe? flashed the zip file in recovery then after flash the FTF? 10min booting its not normal, you probably have missed some step, im using this rom and i have just followed exacly this steps on the post

i rooted the erisin with kingroot, i tried it sometimes until it works.

I don't get the notifications
I have tried looking on Youtube and Motorola forums but it did not work. The problem is that notifications do not arrive on time, I always have to open the application for notifications to appear, that is stressful. Applies to messaging and social media applications (usually third-party applications) What do I have to do?

is it possible to unlock e6 play? I cannot see anyone unlocking MTK-motorola? Does fastboot unlock (with motorola website work)?

If you want to modify the phone better go for the plus, here everything is blocked and there is no way to unlock the bootloader

Olá estou tendo o mesmo problema em 2 aparelhos do mesmo modelo (moto e6 play), o problema é que ao desligar eles ligam novamente, as vezes no mesmo minuto, as vezes alguns minutos depois.

Alguém com o mesmo problema, ou alguma solução pra este problema?

Hello I'm having the same problem on 2 devices of the same model (moto e6 play), the problem is that when they turn off, they turn on again, sometimes in the same minute, sometimes a few minutes later.
