Previously I tried, and I probably could, but last time my phone got a boot loop when tried making an option to install from the app.
There is an easy way to install it via ADB in the development section

Thanks anyway & you could add other tweaks in your app like the adding of minecraft worlds, the adding of the GTA 3 vehicle mod, the adding of notification toggles etc. it would make life so much easier for some =)

Notification toggles, there is a flashable zip for that.
You could also make a flashable zip for the GTA 3 mod.

CREATE A NANDROID BACKUP before trying.. JUST IN-CASE **** HAPPENS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PHONE THAT MIGHT SELFDESTRUCT DUE TO ANY FAULTS!
Made CWM Flashable zips for installing and/or removing the CRT Effect... Just use CWM and flash the zip files. As simple as that.
Should it fail to reboot, just flash the disable zip file. It will revert it and should boot up. If it still fails then restore from a backup
If you have a request, I might be able to help mod CRT effects into other firmware too but i need the framework-res.apk from /system/framework.

There are a few problems with this, mate:
1 - Icons of the Power menu are back to stock.. We need the ICS ones.
2 - On selection of anything in My Files, we get an orange background instead of a blue one..
Dunno what else problems are there. I couldn't bear the Orange in ICS, so I reflashed the ROM right away..

its simple to make a cwm zip. just use the template on dooms thread then edit the script to copy files somewhere etc....
Also, this mods been released for the xperia arc ; cba to link ... But alot of their stuff is compatibile with our stock roms so it may work on the play as well.

hello all. because of the problems i have with the capacitive buttons of Xperia S i decided to search for on screen buttons. the problem again is that the on screen buttons are huge and cut a lot from the screen and i wanted to make them smaller.
i had so much problems in compiling the framework, but finally i succeed on making them smaller thanks to Soheil_rf for his grateful help.
first flash this with CWM
here is the download link http://www.mediafire.com/?mdicxcuoysfjb7c
if you stick in boot loop try this one http://www.mediafire.com/?75lzxzq494e668l thanks to Soheil_rf
tested on my Xperia S it's a 30 dpi on screen buttons for the firmware .50.
anyone who stick in boot loop just send me the framework-res.apk from your rom ( use Root Explorer ) and i will make you a modified small on screen buttons as soon as i can
with small apps from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1960744 thanks to niaboc79 for his great work
here is a modified 0dip to anyone who wants the menu overflow. http://www.mediafire.com/?0sow8ys9nyb8qqp
if some one wants more smaller on screen button ( 26dip ) and no width on screen button. ( if you watch video there is no on screen mode and if you back to normal screen they will show up very small ). flash this http://www.mediafire.com/?s077ylpm7apvpna
remember this mod is only for 6.1.A.2.50

Hey, this is my first guide in xda.
This guide explain how to enable the whole 4 mods togethere without delete any of them.
This guide works for me on omega 38 but i think it will work on any odex/deodex LLC and MA1.. So if u tried write here the results..
HOW TO
1.first of all like in any normal guide make a nandroid backup! I am not responssible of any damage even that is very simple.
2.download the correct files for u from here and flash by cwm based recovery
3.reboot. After u will reboot what u have is this: crt off effect+3 way reboot. This will disable ink effect and long press menu to kill app, dont worry it will be back.
4.download and flash this file.
Note:this file is from omega files 37 but its work very good for me. This mod will make the ink Effect and long press menu+4 way reboot without delete the other mods
5.thats it. Enjoy.

This guide is almost made to fail.
To OP: Download and make it work on your device, pulll android.policy.jar, services.jar and other needed files, then make a CWM that people can flash.
With GUIDE, MOD, it's usally how you should edit code or somehting to make it work. Download and flash files from diffrent sources is not a very certain method.
With all your respect. Ment nothing bad at all. Just that it will occur many problems in this thread.

Hi, I just wanna share with our community a little mod. May be someone have already noticed about too heavy vibration when you click on dialler buttons.
After applying this mod through CWM your dialpad vibration will be equal to navbar buttons vibration. So, vibration feedback will half decreased.
As for now I'll add only version for .retail.en.US rom (which is 4.4.3). If you have different ROM (region/android version) you can give a try with 443_1032_US_vibr.zip on your own risk (make backup of dialer.apk & .odex firsrt).
Or you can request this mod for your ROM by posting in this thread your files (dialer.apk & dialer.odex) and providing some info about ROM you're using (in case if somebody who have the same ROM want to test it).
Hi, i tried to copy this two files, but i cant see them with windows. I copied them in sdcard, but i dont know how can i get out from the phone because i didnt see them, pls help me, thanks
