when i use cm7 nightly build ,but i don.t know whether is nessary to double wipe ?

I previously downloaded and installed cm7 beta 6 using the mirror ....No 720p is working on that. Members said that 720p is working on the nightly builds. There is a nightly builds link on the cm7 page. What should i download in that....which is the latest.
If i upgrade to cm7 nightly without wiping data and formatting cache.........will the settings be as it is or will it be lost?????
i juz install cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC0 marvel kang.zip...after that i flash n install unofficial-CM7-marvel-nigthly-01_15_2012.zip....i have done wipe cache,data,factory reset etc before installing unofficial-CM7-marvel-nigthly-01_15_2012.zip..after complete installing cm7 nightly version...when i check my mod version its still CyanogenMod 7.2.0 RC0 marvel Kang....do i miz something or nightly n RC0 are a little bit same?

It shows the same because the developer(alquez) didnt change the mod version in the build.prop file
If you dont know what a build.prop file is .....let me tell you,
It is file containing certain information of the phone including the one in the "About Phone" menu in settings

Any one knows where to find a cwm zip version of the kernel for download?
What custom kernel is recommended to be used with this rom besides trinity? Does franco kernel work with this rom?

CM9 RC1
You don't have to flash CM9 separately, it comes with the rom.
It is recommended to use stock CM9 kernel. Try it, and video you don't like it change to Franco or trinity or whatever you feel to

did you dirty flash the rom?
No, clean install from Android Revolution (I wiped everything).
I believe Gtalk is the only one which is problematic.
