Bleeding edge on camera mode!! - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

This weekend while at the club I noticed the upper section of the screen was bleeding some light while taking a picture with black background.
It can be seen on a screenshot and with a black background. It only appears while on camera mode.
It is a little hard to see but zoom in or even easier open the link in a new window to see it bigger. (left side)

And here there is no bleeding. (link)
Can you guys check if you have the same issue or not?
Thanks

I see what you're talking about. I just opened the camera on mine and placed my hand over the lens so it went dark. There's a strip along that edge that's a different shade than the rest of the screen. I don't think it's a defect though, I think it's just the edge border of the view window. If you look to the right side, not all the way to the edge, but to the right of the viewing window and to the left of the preview pane, you can see there's a border there too. It doesn't look it in your screen shot, but on my phone with my hand in front of the lens, the two strips look like they are the same color.

It's not "bleeding" if it's not occurring in all apps.
It's probably just something someone overlooked.

Thanks for your replay, good to know I'm not the only one..

Any idea why there is that blue bleed on the right, next to Sent?
It's only hit me today, but I kept thinking there was something wrong with my screen so I installed screenshot to double check.
What's everyone else using for Pop3 mail?
Maybe Im wrong, but isnt that horizontal menu scrollable (right to left and vice versa)? So the blue bleed means there are more option, which are currently hidden.

Absolutely, it is scrollable.
It's the way that it appears to "bleed". If you pull it across, it doesn't look much better.
Considering the screen and how well it can deal with perfect graphics, this app just looks cheap and nasty.
That's the way it tells you that you need to pull it left for more tabs to appear.

Yup I was about to ask I have the yellow and grey case, the case itself is really good just has the flash issue
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Wow I didnt know about that. Not good and thanks for the heads up
the whole GALAXY to NOTE about...counting down from 10 to 1.
I had the same problem with my Nexus 4. I would take shots and wonder why the picture always came out yellowish with flash. Turns out my finger was too close to the LED lol

I walked around my house all morning, taking flash pictures in the dark with and without the case and never saw any difference between the two images. When I can, I'll post some of my comparisons, but I'm starting to think my house might just be yellow...

Hiding scratches/chips in the bezel

Back in the days of the iPhone 5 (I didn't have one, it's just for reference) many people complained about the black one scratching and chipping easily, and silver metal being visible underneath, there was a fix discovered. "Birchwood Casey Super Black Touch Up Pen". Since I chipped the bezel on my 360, you think this would work? If so, which pen would it be? Flat, Gloss, or Matt, I doubt it would be Matt. I'll leave pictures of the damage to my watch below.

I tripped and it hit the ground before my hand. I tried marker too, it came out almost a purpley colour. Gonna order that marker soon, hopefully it'll work.

Screen inconsistencies

Not sure if this in the right place (if not, mods please move), but I recently bought a T-Mobile variant Samsung Galaxy S III (T999L). Target was having a sale on their Brightspot Mobile devices, and $150 for a Galaxy S III was too good to pass up. I've had the phone for a week and a half, and it's a really nice device. The screen at any brightness is amazing. I've used a few AMOLED and SLCD screens over time, but my main device for the past year has been a Nexus 5. Nothing that I've owned compared to this AMOLED screen.
One thing that I've noticed, however, with the screen is that it has some inconsistent splotches on it. What are these splotches you may ask? They only are noticeable on very dark backgrounds with the very dimmest brightness setting. When viewing something dark in a dark room with auto-brightness turned on is how I first noticed it. There are some dark lines and spots on the screen.
Here is the screen with a black background in a dark room, on auto-brightness:

}
Look at all of those marks. They're hardly noticeable, but they're there. In fact, the only way I could pick them up on camera was to set my DSLR up on a tripod and shoot a 60-second exposure.
Anybody seen anything like this before? Should I be worried about the longevity of the screen? It's almost a non-issue for me, but I thought I'd bring it up. Thanks!

Question What does the Pixel 6 Pro screen look like under UV?...

Because no one asked....Well it looks like this. Wonder what's the tech behind this screen. Maybe that whole section is more "translucent"?.

Yeahhh, iv heard that hallowish sound sometimes when I tap, like there's nothing under it lol, yeah it's just the adhesive going around it, cool though
That's perfectly normal my s8,s9,note10plus,note20 ultra,s21ultra all was the same when installing Whitestone dome glass under uv light
Reinforces that adhesive bezel whereabouts.
Looked like that on my 2XL when I was doing Whitestone as well. I assume it's the LOCA/adhesive they use to adhere the display/digitizer to the glass etc.
