Hi!
I think I may have bricked my phone. I superwiped but I forgot to put a ROM
so now I have nothing on my phone.
Can I flash a ROM from my computer to my phone?
Thx in advance!
Flash a stock image using the Google images, then you can re-flash a custom one
If you still have cwr, mount USB in cwr, put a rom on there, flash from. If you don't have a recovery, you should be able to adb push the recovery file and flash through boot loader, then mount USB in recovery, copy rom to phone, flash.

+1 What he said! /\
look at thread that has the odin stock rom
If you're a n00b then why on earth did you unlock the phone in the first place? Surely you should've researched what you were doing in case something like this happened?

all is very easy to fix
1. Change ROM name to rom.zip
adb shell
mount /data
exit
adb push rom.zip /data/media
Now reboot into recovery and flash ROM.
Its all in here
http://groups.google.com/group/android-building/msg/43c3a418144fc6c5
This has helped me out twice already, and its where the factory images will be when the OTAs start, so of you're impatient and want them as soon as you can get them here

I think we need to put up a sticky again explaining what "brick" means.

Did adb work before? Sounds like the drivers aren't installed properly
And if you are trying to use the images from what I linked earlier you need to be in fastboot not adb

When i press volume down + Power button and go to HBoot
it tells me that i am using Clockwork MOD Recovery v3.0.0.6
i want to update it to latest version i downloaded recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.0-buzz and copy this Zip file on SD card and installed Clockwork MOD Recovery v5.0.2.0
i can see that it changes menu & font color into blue
but when ever i restarts or shut down the phone and go back to HBoot ( volume down + Power button ) i see the same old v3.0.0.6
any suggestions...
help
use this from your bootloader, you need to rename it pc49img.zip (make sure its not named .zip.zip) it should come up saying recovery update, flash? push volume up. after that let it boot to to the boot animations, the battery pull. take out the sdcard and then reboot the bootloader. then go to recovery and it should be up to 5.0.2.0
enjoy

Android Flasher...
I have used the following utility to flash the radio, bootscreen, and, just a while ago, the CWM recovery version to v5.0.2.0. As Buzz ain't listed on the list of supported devices, I used Other Device, booted the unit to flashboot, and flashed whichever I wanted by way of the interface.
Thread could be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=794638&highlight=android+flasher

Whats the worst that can happen with rev??
i dont wanna brick it and pay for it...
Worst I've heard of is it just wont work unless you have the right hboot version and the right drivers etc,, just follow the guides correctly read them a few times first. I haven't heard of a bricked wildfire from unlocking and rooting as yet.

hmmmm. does it not give you the option of flashing up? by volume up in hboot? if it keeps failing try a different sdcard. this shouldnt work in recovery as far as i know.

hmm.. so on other sd card i just give on the zip file and try or i have to do anythin else to?

just the update.zip should do. are you definatly s-off?
yes i am s-off. still not working.
Some steps that I told to another person wanting to update their recovery.
Do you have fastboot?
do you have fastboot in with your SDK tools?
Download [RECOVERY][MOD][Wildfire][02-Nov-2011] Clockwork 5.0.2.7.111102
Extract the zip, and rename to recovery.img to make it simple in ADB.
move the recovery.img to the same folder as your fastboot is in so FOR ME it will be in C:\ ANDROID \ ANDROID-SDK \ TOOLS \ recovery.img
as fastboot is located in ANDROID-SDK / TOOLS / fastboot.exe
then follow these commands EXACTLY as I tell you.
reboot phone in to bootloader - Power off, then HOLD volume down and press power, use volume keys for up and down and select fastboot.
now, open command line and start ADB - This part I expect you to know if you have a rooted phone, but just in case run these commands: - start adb, remount, and open a shell - the commands are "adb remount", then enter "adb shell"
1) adb start-server
2) adb remount
3) adb shell
then enter the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
FINALLY, enter "fastboot reboot"
Recovery update complete... try rebooting into recovery to confirm this and it should show a new recovery
Click Thanks if this works
I used a video to unroot my phone and now it will not come out of boot mode, I turn it on it acts like it is booting up but never does just stays in the same position. and when I try to go into fastboot mode I get an error, it shows an android laying down and a red triangle over him how do I fix this? PLEASE HELP

When you are booted into bootloader but a "fastboot devices" does not list your device, it's almost always caused by having installed either no driver at all or the wrong one. Use the naked driver, follow the link in my signature to find it.

What you see is the stock recovery. Android will flash it back automatically even after you've flashed a custom recovery. To prevent this, you must either rename/delete /etc/install-recovery.sh OR rename/delete /system/recovery-from-boot.p.
LTE radios are in the factory images. Read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895

Navigate to the folder /etc with a file manager. Remount with RW rights (root explorer has a convenient button for this) and rename the file install-recovery.sh to install-recovery.sh.bak.
Then reflash a custom recovery. This time it will stick.

If you're using TWRP you can go to advanced>adb sideload and use the 'adb sideload <filename>' command to push a ROM to the phone which will then automatically install. That way you can avoid losing root.
