Meh, I rooted my phone and deleted some apps, but some deletions were a mistake and at some I didn't delet the data, so 100 MB is still in some phone's files, but I would never know which are.
So I belive I need some sort of ROM which gives back the stock apps and I can again delete them as I like?

So currently i am running stock deodexed official 2.2 with my own modifications set in place, all from .zips. i cleaned out all of the stock apps that i know will not cause problems and are not linked with other apps. then when i saw all the stuff cleared out in that new "feather rom" or whatever its called, i decided to clear out a few more stuff. now, i am getting the repeated "com.htc.bgp force close." its a few times an hour and its annoying. i think its from one of these three apps: WeatherAgentService
WeatherProvider
WeatherSyncProvider
because everything else i deleted was pretty much independent (eg mail.apk). i already had weather deleted, so i figured deleting these wouldnt be much of a problem. and no, i didnt do a nand backup because im an idiot. is there a way i can replace these apps? or should i just deal with it
My Desire's running the current Stock ROM, and is rooted via Unrevoked with S-Off via AlphaRev.
I'm constantly skirting close to the 15Mb remaining data limit. The thing is, I'm running fewer apps than ever before these days, what with apps getting bigger and system updates using up precious memory space.
So I thought I'd use Titanium Backup to integrate the system updates into the ROM and free up data space. So I nandroided, s-off'd and ran the batch to integrate the updates into the ROM.
The apps in question (off the top of my head) were Flash, Maps, Gmail, Youtube, Market, and a couple of others.
It didn't work.
At first it looked as if it had, but I was getting force closes when I ran them.
I tried doing a force close repair via ROM Manager, but that didn't help.
The only thing that did work was apparently Flash. But then I was browsing around because I didn't getting the memory back I was expecting and I can still see the flash files in data.
So the updates have been recovered back into data and I'm back where I started.
So how do I do this?
Should TB work? What's the best way to actually integrate these files into the ROM? Which files need moving? Is flash just libflashplayer.so, because there are 3 other flash .so files? Do I need to modify anything to point to the new locations?
I really hope that the new gingerbread ROM doesn't immediately need system updates, but I expect to be disappointed.

To be honest I don't really know the answer I've never tried.... Could it be the permissions? Root Explorer - data/apps... find app you want and edit permissions ?
Why not just get apps2sd or data2sd?
I'm not against apps2sd or data2sd, it's just that I dodn't like the idea of having two versions of the same app on the phone - it's just a waste.
I'm thinking I'll apply the upgrade when it comes (if it's any good) - hopefully most of the system app updates will be built in already. Then I'll look for a version that strips back system to the bare minimum and repartitions to minimise system/maximise data, and also has apps2sd or data2sd (not sure which at the mo).
I do find it strange, though, that so few experiences of TB's integrate into ROM feature are discussed on the net.

Hi Guys
I have tried searching for this problem im having but no joy yet
(Taken from "about phone")
Rom - CM7.1.0.1-buzz
Kernal - 2.6.35.14-nFinity
Radio - ??
Hboot - ??
S-on / s- off - S-On
I have installed CM7 and im starting to like the look of it, the problem is i used to have approx 90ish apps when i was on wildpuzzle so i backed them up using TB but now if i restore them on to cm7 after about 30ish (and with plenty of internal space still left) when i reboot the phone the apps appear in my menu but then the whole phone freezes and the only way is to take the battery out
at first i thought i had a rogue app, but i have tried many different apps and orders of restore but still the same problem....
so my questions are
1) is there a max amount of apps i can have or a min amount of space that has to be free internally
2) is there an app that i can put on my phone that logs what is happening on startup, maybe i could identify something wrong
3) is there an app to speed up the reading times of my memory card, i have seen people talking about the "class" but i dont know what mine is
hopefully someone out there can help as at the min i cant really fault cm7, but i also cant understand this problem
Did you backup System Data as well by any chance?
no just user data
In that case, try restoring apps one by one. Extremely boring task, I know, but, it should work. I have had this issue once when I had ~70 apps.
i have tried that as well
i installed 50 apps approx and did a nandroid backup after each...then it started to freeze, so i went back 3 backups and then restored a different set of apps and i got the same result
50+ apps on the wildfire?! Why? It's so slow only basic functions are possible
I've had my phone rooted for ages, deleted bloat, and about 260mb free. I did the Link2sd but this was after a few apps had updated. I've installed/deinstalled loads of apps over time but now find myself with less than 90mb free, all bloat gone, 3 emus installed, Rage of Bahamut, whatsapp, Go Launcher,Sms,Contacts. That's it. Is there an app to system clean internal memory? I use Titanium Backup Pro to back up my important bits. I've flashed firmware before to gain root after ota updates, so have a rough idea of what im doing I think lol. Just started to learn the android SDK tools and adb.
My big question. Can I backup using Tbpro: all data profiles and apps I want to keep. Flash phone (starting from beginning again as as a new phone), root delete bloat, link2sd, reinstall backups, and be good to go?
Or is there an easier way?
Also, I've never flashed new roms/kernels as I don't understand everything yet.
I only use my phone for calls, text, email, emus, few games and that's about it. Is there a Rom/kernel I could flash, to make it more streamlined for what I use it for?
Sorry for the long post and probably asking Qs you've all heard before, but im just starting to get into phone/app developing and thought, who better to ask than the guys in the know, XDA.

Link2SD has options to clear the dalvik cache and normal cache, also ROMwise if you have an r800x (CDMA) you can try Hogwart's COLA rom....both the free version and pro versions of TB can backup apps and their data, which I have used multiple times for my phone. Sometime qhen I've cleared the caches, I've gained up to 120 MBs of free space, which is really nice.

Ok, hope you guys and gals can help me. The basics are this, Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II, Rooted, stock de-odexed ROM, with 32 gig ExtSd 27 gig free, and internal SD 6 gig free.
I have searched here and tried different methods, clearing Dalvic, clearing Cache, clear data and all the above with ROM flash.
Still same message, not on all apps but some. I deleted 75% of my apps to clear up space thinking I had gone app crazy, still same message. Now I cannot update existing or install some new apps. Please help. I have no idea how to check and see how much memory is free, if that will help just tell me how and I will look. please help me fix this.
update, I went to settings, Application Manager, Running Apps and it says 819 mb used and 095 mb free and lists the programs.
That is probably the issue but how do I resolve it? Or is that the problem?
Get Clean Master:

There's easily 100s of MB of trash data that can safely be deleted. I see this error pop up too occasionally . Last time I ran it, it deleted 900+MB of crap that didn't show up on the System/Storage readout.
Also run TiBackup and add system app updates into ROM. Is wise to Nandroid backup before doing this, as this is permanent short of reinstalling.
Thank you, I downloaded the app and it actually let me. I ran it and cleared up a large amount of space. Then I tried again.
It failed again but this time it was error 491. I read in another post to delete the google account on the device, reboot and add it back and it will fix it. So I did that. On it did update one app that was failing but not both, so I still have one more that will not update and the error went back to insufficient storage.
Not sure if I should repeat the process of clean and delete the account and try again for the last one or what I should do? I hope I do not have this problem from now on.
I do have a question...
If I do a backup with ROM Toolbox and then flash the new rom, can I restore everything except the rom, it would be senseless to flash it then do a recovery that just replaces the buggy ROM I tried to replace. or is there a way to flash the rom without losing everything so a restore is not necessary, it would just add a clean ROM? I noticed with the Flashed ROM and the phone basically like factory I had no errors downloading apps, then I restored to get all my stuff back and I even got the problem back.
Help, anyone, I just got a tablet and want to share my cell data plan and I cant download the app for it on my phone due to error, this time no specific error, just cannot download, please I need this fixed, help.
Please help, I cannot download anything or update anything without getting a storage or error 941, 941 is the most common now.
I know someone can help me fix this, you guys can take a simple cell phone and turn it into a coffee maker and a time machine. I know someone can help me fix this?
Is there a way to install the stock ROM without wiping and losing all my data, or can I flash the stock rom and restore all my data except the ROM? Someone please help?

Umm try downloading astro file explorer and click on sd card usage. That allows u to check what is taking up all your memory and where its located and then delete what is not needed.
As for backing up stuff download gobackup. Its a great app. Lets u back up texts, apps and their data, current ringtone and set up, as well as other things..hopefully I helped...
