CM7 stuck at boot after flashing Radio, please help weird problem - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so my wife and I have the same phone; HTC Desire HD. both of us run CM7.1. I flashed the radio on mine with no problems, did everything correctly. Went to flash my wifes radio and the flashing went fine, but now CM hangs when loading. I read up, wiped the cache, still hangs. Did a factory wipe and it boots fine.
I did the proper thing and did a backup prior to flashing. and after restoring the backup, it still hangs. Even went so far as to do an advanced restore, restoring selected parts of the backup and the mother still hangs. Any ideas short of wiping it, handing it back to my wife and going without sex for a while?
Phone is ENG S-OFF and S-OFF and I just flashed the radio to 26.09.04.11 from 26.03.02.26
Thanks

[Q] Rooted phone

I have a rooted Incredible and I have some issues with it right now, i tried to restore the backup i created and i get an error, i have wipped everything from the phone and i cant get it to reset to factory. Any ways to help out with this?
What issues are you having? If all you did was root the phone and that was all, i highly doubt that the issues are because of root.
i attempted to install vanilla skyraider, i backed up the orginal skyraider and now when i tried to restore the skyraider backup i get a error
Please help me, I have messed up my phone pretty bad. When I rebot my phone it goes through the normal process (Skyraider is the ROM I am using) and after the boot is finished it should proceed to the home screen but instead it takes me to a screen that has the Andoriod Logo and says tough andriod to begin, the catch is when i touch the logo nothing happens. I have attempted to factory reset to aviod the screen but i still get it back! Please help! Im in need!!

You don't have a functioning backup? Then I would try wiping everything (wipe data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache), re-downloading and flashing the ROM (any of your choice), the file might have been corrupted some how. Good luck
I had a backup and when i went to restore it through clorkworkmod recovery it doesnt work and i dont understand why,

[Q] Desire hangs in HTC startscreen - dead??

I have a really big problem with my desire:
I have updated nearly every NeoPhyte since Froyo. Worked always without problems.
Yesterday I want to update to NeoPhyte 8.2. I only flashed 8.2 Image but no new radio and diddn't Wipe all. It flashed successful, but restart (HTC Logo) doesn't disappear after restart. I took out the battery after 30 minutes.
After this I had to use USB (recovery-windows.bat) to enter green menu. I did a Wipe Factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik. But my desire won't start.
So I tried flash my old image 8.1.4 again with wipe all. But nearly the same result. It hangs not on HTC screen but on this Nexus 4 color animation.
After this I tried to flash newest radio Radio-32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 and NeoPhyte 8.2. Not successful, desire hangs in HTC screen about 30 minutes.
Please can anyone help me? Is my desire dead or is it possible to make it run again?

you use an old method to root
it might be of benefit to run an ruu from your network to return the device to stock then re root it
if wiping data and reflashing does not work then you have so other problem

Need help. Messed up flashing CM7

Mytouch Slide, rooted to cm6.1. I went to flash cm7 tonight and had a bad case of fat thumb.
I performed a Nandroid backup, then formatted system, cache, and data, performed a factory reset, I went to flash CM7 but accidentally rebooted the phone. So I tried to simply repower it back up and was stuck on the MTS splash screen forever. So I went into recovery mode, and was only given hboot, which automatically failed, then tried recovery and it went to the "red triangle" screen. So I tried vol up and power to try to apply the update, which failed. I then even tried to just use the original factory update to get it back to original, and that failed. At this point I am stuck.
The phone won't boot, recovery doesn't work, and I can't even flash the original update file.
Nevermind, I just used the esprimg file and unrooted.....time to re-root and start all over again.
good at least you learn something by yourself.

Weird problem

Yesterday my desire wouldn't get online anymore, i rebooted it and it got stuck on the first screen.
Tried to wipe cahe, dalvik, factory reset, wipe system, boot, everyting i could wipe was done, but nothing helped.
I was running insertcoin stable rom 1.0.9
I tried to do a nandroid restore of a previous rom, that worked, but it looked all screwed up and when i pressed the menu button and took settings, i got an error that the program was no longer installed.
When i locked the phone, the bottom menu was not there anymore, i also was unable to shut down the phone, pressing the power button only locked the phone.
After a lot of messing around, i finally got the latest insertcoin rom up and running.
Weird thing is that it loads the boot animation that i installed whit the nandroid rom.
Boot time is very slow, the rom seems to run very stable and fast.
Any idea how to completely get rid of everything and start fresh ?
I'm rooted and s-oof and wanna stay that way
Thx,
Steve
If you want to start a fresh then go into recovery and wipe all the partitions, boot, system, data, cache, android_secure, ext then flash a rom
I did all that :-(
I even did a complete format of my sd card, re-partioned it.
Maybe i should do it again ?
Strange thing is that the rom seems to work fine, but the boot animation is from another rom ??
Thx for the reply,
Steve

Factory Reset Problems after Unresponsive Device

Guys,
Need a little help:
My OP3 worked fine for over a month (with 3.2.2, Rooted and with latest TWRP only) and then suddenly went unresponsive i.e., screen frozen. When I restarted the device, it stuck on boot animation. I tried to restored a week old nandroid backup and it stuck at restoring system partition and then... ERROR 7. I tried the factory reset and got the same result... ERROR 7. I tried flashing the from the scratch as well as formatting all partition, still no luck and ERROR 7 persisted.
I switched to OP3 recovery and wiped data and cache and the wiping worked but... when i tried to push the rom, it didn't work and it was stuck. i flashed twrp again and tried sideload, still no luck, it got stuck at 4%. I did a wipe again and tried to restore the old backup and the restore simply got stuck (no error - i waited for 30 mins).
So, my question is two part (before i send the device back to OnePlus): any idea what is going on and how can i fix it? and is there any other way i can try to do an absolutely clean install of rom and try if that works?
Thanks,
Answering my own question: device sent to OnePlus and the issue was identified as faulty motherboard.
