Does anyone know if there is actually a white t-989 available, and if so are OE parts available? I can do the parts change myself just don't know where to find them. Also not sure if the white face would be a diffuser or if its just an.insert of sorts... any help would be appreciated!

The white version isn't out yet and it'll probably take a few more weeks/months for the white housing to come along. there's a thread with "white galaxy" on the general forum. Ppl will probably post there when available

It appears in ads, at the top of Android Central Forum when they advertise the GN.
It has a Black Background with the colored X. I am hoping to find not the original one, but with the higher res of the GN
I found one on DeviantArt but it appears to be a charcoal background

That is the one I found on DeviantArt and to me, maybe I am seeing it wrong, the background looks grey, dull or washed out, not a vibrant or black black.

Yes looks much better. I am only downloading it in a 640 x 400 resolution. Is it available in the screen res of 1280 x 720 or better yet the full wallpaper screen from one homepage to the last, 1440 x 1280 ( I think I have those numbers right. You would know better)

Personally, I'd get a case with a clear back and just photoshop my own background instead of getting one of those.

Probably not. They never got the Blue S5, so I doubt they'll carry any of Samsung's other color choices.
