How to delete individual calls? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Is there anyway to delete individual calls from the call log? I can't seem to figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Open the call log and select the one that you want to remove. Then click the menu button on the top right corner. Click remove from call log.

Cool, that did the trick. But the number still shows up in 'frequently contacted' lol.

Put your mistress's number in one of your other benign contacts (guy friend) as a secondary number. Problem solved..

Only thing i could see is that when you go into call history press the little card icon to the right of the caller you wanna delete and that will show all the calls from that number. then at the bottom press menu and select delete all. That will delete all the calls from that particular number or person i guess.

Ya I figured that part out...but there has to be a way to delete just a single call. Anyone else? Maybe this option is available on a cooked rom? I'm going to be flashing a new one on the phone this weekend
I played around with it and couldn't figure it out. What I wanna know is why you wanna delete a call! Is it a mistress phone number!?
Pull up your dialer & on the bottome left side there's a Call History icon. this'll let you delete individual calls. Also, there is no mention of this instance of Call History in the manual.
Now you can delete all traces of your mistress.

I have the dutch rom so i don;t know if the translation is good, but go to:
Start -> All -> Contacts -> Select the contact who had called you -> Tab on last call -> Menu -> Delete call

Is this for all calls or just individual contacts?
For contacts you get the option whilst in the contacts profile. Click the dots (options) button and select " All calls to voicemail"

If you long press a contact it should give you an option to sent the call directly to voicemail.

Calls from wife go straight to voicemail

It seems like I'm getting calls from everyone except from my wife.
I am on a rooted/CM7.1.0/Droid Incredible and she is on a stock Incredible. We are both on the same Verizon plan.
When she calls, it rings 3 times for her and then to Voice mail. It never rings on my phone. I have checked
I have and use Google voice for voice mail but she is calling my Verizon number.
The "Send calls directly to voicemail" box wasn't checked. I have deleted her contact in my phone and my contact in her phone and it still goes straight to voice mail. I can call her and other people can call me.
Any ideas?

I wish calls from my wife went straight to VM.
Dude, you would get so much money on ebay for that phone.
The only thing i could think of is mabey google voice thinks your wifes number is spam. If you go to google.com/voice and hit the gear icon on the top right, select settings and then the calls tab. Uncheck global spam filtering save the change and then see if that works.

Update:
Formatted everything and "upgraded" to Pons CM7.2 Incredible builds (12192011).
All is working great.
Ha ha, you probably got hacked... Lol
Edit:
To clarify things, guys, he stated that he 'only uses google voice for voicemail'...
This means she is calling his Verizon phone number first... Which, he has something called 'conditional call forwarding' setup... So, even if google voice were set to block her, as spam, it would still have to dial his handset first... And actually ring(or be ignored).
To my knowledge, i haven't seen a way inside of Android to block callers...
Which is why i jokingly say, you got haxxed...
I bet if you flashed a clean install of cm7 again, it would work fine
If you long press the end call button while in a call, you are given the option to put that number on a black list. You could have done that without realizing

Nice, good catch..
That sounds like the most reasonable explanation so far

Thanks for pointing that out. My 1-year-old son might be the culprit.
Formatted everything so not sure, but good to know for the future.

How can i write down a number while talking on the phone?

Exactly what the title says. I'm running aokp m3 and i recently found a little icon to the right in the dialer to add a contact during a call. Problem is i don't always want to add a contact, just save a number temporarily. And if i press it, my mic also mutes. So the person i'm talking to can't hear me.
Any easy way to do this?

A pen and piece of paper should suit you well.

I just add an entry to my calendar or start composing an email. I suppose you could find some kind of notepad in the market.
I had a similar problem and solved it with a free note app from Market.

Well. I suppose you always have a pen and paper even on the subway, for instance or walking down the street. I guess trolling is all the rage nowadays.
On topic. On my old nokia whatever i wrote in the dialer remained even after ending the call. Not the case here. So if someone tells me a number on the phone i have to memorize it and dial it after ending the call.

SMS app, email app, any notepad app, a tattoo gun and your arm.
Edit: if you absolutely must use your dialer then just use the "add to contacts" button to save it before you end the call.

I wasn't trolling, I was being serious. I have to take numbers all the time, so I keep a pen and a pocket notepad on me. If you find taking numbers down on your phone to be a problem, carry a pocket notepad and pen on you.

The reason i wanted to use the dialer is because every time i exit the dialer during a call my microphone mutes automaticaly and i can't ask/confirm with whoever i'm speaking with.
And this doesn't happen to me often enough to warrant carrying a pen and paper all the time. + i would most certainly forget them anyway either home or somewhere else.
Thanks for the replies, guys.
I think you have a software issue cause my mic does not mute like that. I just copy the number and paste it into a draft text or email for later.
Call writer app will do the trick

With call writer you can easily write down the number as a text note and save it.When you click the number it automatically dials it and you can also save it.

Another one...
If we reject a call, the caller receives an instant text that the person is busy and will call later (or something similar).
How is this accomplished?
Thank you so much my friends . Thanks !!!

Only when the phone is screen-off. When you reject the call, there is an option to send text.
To edit : settings - call scroll down to Others settings where you can edit the message

I take it that the text can be sent ONLY IF the screen is OFF?
That's right... that is what I notice and tried. Unless someone else can confirm otherwise.

Screen always comes on when you ring the phone so is useless feature? Unless I'm just not getting it. Pretty tired.
