I would say that any bundled ear phones are not good. You'd be better off spending you money on say... ultimate ears, audio technica, sennheiser etc.
There is a catch
The headset shipping with Galaxy S2 in India is pathetic but the ones that come inbox for Galaxy S variants in US works beautifully. I got them for myself on ebay for Rs840 INR. http://www.ebay.in/itm/Sharp-sideki...tDomain_203&hash=item3f0ec0465d#ht_1658wt_905
They are the first set of bundled headphones that I have actually used rather than immediately swapping them for a 3rd party set. I think, for a bundled headset, they're pretty good.

Well, I'm looking for a pair as well but the Bose ones are too expencive. I know that iPhone earphones work with Galaxy W (So does the mic) but the loudness isn't as impressive. Can anyone reccomend something better than stock Galaxy W earphones up to 30 pounds?(36 euros).

I've used the standard iPhone earphones(with volume control bit no mic) with my Galaxy W from the start.Works great.

yes you are right, today i've tried iphone headphone, with mic ( form 3gs) and it works! Also mic, i've made a phonecall

I'm assuming that by 'decent' you mean lower than the one in the apple store?
You can always try eBay but make sure you contact the seller first to make sure they are 100% authentic. Otherwise just go to an apple store and get a pair.
I can say I recently bought the AKG 326 (suppose to be for iPhone) and all is working but the volume buttons.

galaxy nexus audio out is awsome, I've had several Android phones and nothing has such a powerful output as this phone. The bass is powerful and highs very crisp. I'm loving the phone more every day.

Yes this device has superb audio out quality thru a good set of headphones. Best of any phone ive owned.
Yeah, it's really good. People used to ***** that it didn't have the Wolfson DAP, but it performs quite well despite this.
Yea screw the wolfson, my sgs didn't sound this good even with voodoo. This just blows everything out when I load poweramp and pump up the bass a little.

Yeah my transformer has the olfsen with voodoo and it can't compete. The sheer power commingle out of this phone is incredible. I have bought 4 sets of headphones and they all dissapointed me until today when I tried them. On this phone and wow. Dub step sounds like it does in my truck. The bass rumbles my head yet every detail is crisp and clean. I've used those same headphones on my last 5 phones and was disappointed. HTC dream flat, galaxy s decent, atrix weak bass, lg optimus 3d too quiet, iPhone 4 flat, galaxy nexus like I'm connected to my Yamaha reciever.

Agreed. This blows my old hTc out of the water. Even the headphones it came with sound good on this phone.

I'm not impressed with beats headphones. I find they only focus on bass and highs and the mids are lacking as well as 3d imagery. I find the senheizer and bose headphones to be of much better audio quality covering the entire audio spectrum. I've been producing electronic dance music for years and no one I know in the industry takes the beats line of headphones seriously. Its all marketing.

Op was pro ably wondering about the inline controls. Android central did a write up about if you feel like looking for it.
But some buttons work some buttons do not

They're not when u get em for free. And the IE2 are actually good.
Have the best fit ear buds ever. Feels like they're not even there.

I just got the Ear Pods today. I didn't buy them, a gift. They actually sound good, much better than the older headphones. I want a nice pair of Beats, I actually like their sound, but the Ear Pods will hold me over.

Btw, even Koss have headphones better than this apple crap (and way cheaper).

I'm in a studio all the time. I get my Beats for free. Got the whole line of Monster™ nothing wrong with them at all.

You're in a studio that uses beats? That placed should be closed down or sold.
I've been looking for some iPhone like ear buds (not the newer version, the original ones) for my Galaxy that have inline mic and volume control.
Haven't had any luck so far, seems everything out there are these in ear buds that just feel like I have water plugged in my ear.
Anyone know of anything that fits the description of what I'm looking for?
