How supposed I convert from the one i using to the another rom?
Please show me any method, cause i'm quite noob.

Then it is not possible for you at the moment.

as harfot sayed that you cannot instal that one ROM.
But wait for official ICS which will come to OTA soon.

You was able to change to Xperia_AniKing_v1.0.0_Ice Cream, because it's a ROM for locked BL too.
And it's the only one of it. So you can stay at stock ROM or that, but nothing else, so you won't be able to flash ICS alpha.
It's hard to say when it'll be released, but it's a great step from SE to release an alpha build.
I'd hope that there is a official ICS ROM until end of January.

You've to unlock your BL, flash DooMLord's ICS Kernel with fastboot, and flash his ICS Alpha ROM and the addons/fixes via CWM.

I'm assuming your really really new to flashing so before you flash anything you need to do some hard research. GB is Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x) ICS is Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.x) they are completely different os's that are nothing alike whatsoever. This phone comes stock with GB and will be receiving ICS ota soon. Flashing specific things for this phone can be dangerous and brick your device, so look around majorly before altering your device. lets start off small. First off are you rooted? (is your phone stock?)

He did state rooted stock. Stock GB one would assume.
OP, if you look through the themes, you will see what they have been tested on or made to work with.

They're just updates, the phone was shipped with eg30 then they're were leaked test builds and an ota release was put out (ek02) then another one (EL29). If you used Sfhubs one click odin to full restore to rooted EL29 the you should be rooted with no issue, do you have the superuser app?

Use this to root and install CWM found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342728
Using sfhubs autoroot package would do the same thing as both those steps since he is already on EL29 wouldn't it? Autoroot, roots and then installs CWM recovery right? Maybe Im wrong as to the point your making with both steps.
If you just want a nice theme, you could always download Go Launcher and find one there. Otherwise, use the AutoRoot package by sfhub to root and install Clockworkmod. Then you can start flashing ROMs.

[Q] ICS for Xperia ARC

Again, wrong.
The ICS update may not have been released for his specific SI # or carrier, but any phone can flash any FTF file.
Rogers (Canada) won't be releasing ICS for another few weeks yet I had ICS a week ago.

"The reason for this is that Sony believes the new update may be less stable than Gingerbread.
Apparently the company wants to allow users to make 'an informed decision' over the upgrade and whether or not they want the new features at the possible expense of stability."
And I remember Sony saying ICS uses 30mb more RAM (on stock)
Where did that quote come from?
I'd say ICS is more stable so far. I used to get a few apps closing and regular pauses on some applications for no reason at all.
Not had any of that on ICS so far!! Also seems to run fine speed wise, even if it does use more RAM.
Fingers crossed, but all way better than 2.3.4 so far.

[Q] Installing Jellybean

Hey guys, I'm new the the GN, so I have a question..
Right now I have the GN on AOKP and Der Kernel, I am wondering if I can update to jellybean? If I do, do I need to install a new bootloader?
Nope, just download the zip from this thread:
(assuming you have a GSM Gnexus)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737849
and you're good to go.
(flash through CWM, make sure to do a backup first, and wipe).
Nice. Thanks!
I can flash any JB roms right?

Asked the question because I saw some other guys thread saying he installed Jellybean, and need to install a new bootloader for it to boot up.. O_O
I didnt have too, I had to install the rootfix but thats implemented in version 2 (in the link I provided to you).
Worst come worst, just restore it and install the bootloader.
But I came off aokp and had no issues.

You can always root your device. You will still receive OTA (over the air) updates. I highly recommend to root your xperia S, because it is very easy and I can't name a negative thing about it. To root your .55 firmware, search in the android development thread for a topic about rooting this specific firmware. It's called New root method or something like that. I'm on my mobile now so I can't give you a link.
As for bootloader: yes, you can unlock it. I personally don't recommend it, (a lot of others will), because you won't be able to go back to normal and I find it very difficult to do. There are about 2-3 ROMs that can be installed with a locked bootloader. I also have a locked one and used Xzxperience 2 for quite a time.
Good luck with rooting (and unlocking?) and welcome to the forums

don't worry about the warranty, u can re-lock your boot loader any time and flash it with .55 and no one will know that u had rooted your phone and u can do the official updates with OTA or PC companion or from service center.

[Q] Ion says Bootloader Unlock Allowed: No, Can I install custom ROMs/kernels anyway?

I've been trying to buy a Sony Xperia Ion (LT28AT) for use on T-Mobile USA where the bootloader is allowed to be unlocked. So far, all the devices I've looked at all say No.
I know I can still root an LT28AT where the bootloader unlock allowed = No, but I can't install custom ROMs and kernels, right?
But from reading threads here it seems some people can still install custom ROMs and kernels where the answer is No. Can anyone please clear this up for me?
Thanks!
With a locked bootloader you can use roms that are stock-based.
With an unlocked bootloader you can use roms that need another kernel, just like miui, cm 10 etc

Does that include CyanogenMod ROMs like CM10, CM11 etc?
Also, with a locked bootloader can anyone tell me if I can install any kernels that will overclock?
THANKS!
CyanogenMod Roms need their own kernel, and to flash this kernel, you need an unlocked bootloader.
You cant flash any custom kernel on a locked bootloader.
You must unlocked bootloader before flash another kernel.

U can actually flash cm 10 on u a locked boot loader... A developer @mrgeez is working on making cm10 rom for locked bootloaders... Some roms work on locked boot loader and some don't... But ideally don't buy a cell with locked bootloader.. Causes to many problems..

What's inaccurate about it? This is an exception because they managed to get CM10 working with a stock kernel. You can't get any higher versions though because those require an appropriate kernel that isn't stock anymore. There have been a lot of kernel changes between Android 4.1 and 4.2. So on locked bootloader you can install stockbased ROMs (like eXistenZ) and one particular version of CM10. Impossible to flash a custom kernel.
Unlocking the bootloader also has downsides though. Beyond Android 4.0, the Mobile Bravia Engine stops working on an unlocked bootloader. Without that, the colours are a bit more washed out, and the screen already isn't the most vibrant around (the Xperia S screen anyway, but the Xperia Ion screen isn't that different).

So really a locked bootloader means I can't install any kernels, And I can only install ROMs compatible with my existing stock kernel.
