My lock screen controls are not working properly with the Music app.
When I press "Pause" on the lock screen after turning on the screen, the tap is registered but nothing happens for about 20 seconds. Then, the music will pause. Once I tap play, the music starts again immediately. Any time I tap pause/play it works fine, as long as the screen remains on the whole time. However, as soon as the screen turns off and I press pause again after turning on the screen, the same thing happens. Another 20 seconds before any reaction.
I tried uninstalling the updates for the Music app but the same thing happened.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
Just tested this on my GSM GN running ICL53F stock and I do not have this issue.

I was browsing through the forum to see if anyone has a similar problem, but this doesn't appear to be the case.
Since I updated my Note 2 (UAE version) to 4.3, my screen keeps turning off completely randomly (even when in the cradle). It just goes blank. Now - the phone doesn't go to sleep and I know that because if I play video, it still keeps playing (I hear the audio). When the screen goes off, I then need to push power button to turn off the screen and turn it on. If the video is playing, pushing the power button will of course lock the screen, so I actually first need to push home button to get out of the video, then power button to turn off the screen and then power button again to turn it on.
Am I explaining this well? So, the problem is not that the phone goes to standby, the problem is that the screen stops functioning and i need to push power button to put it into standby and then back from standby.
It is completely random - I can sometime work on the phone for hour and nothing will happen, and sometime it will happen after few minutes. It doesn't matter what I am doing, whether playing video, browsing web, checking email etc.
Anyone with a similar problem? Anyone, class, anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing a lag for the screen to turn on from a booted phone with screen off. I'm on fw 4.4.2 nuts stipped version. It can take up 8 to ten seconds for the screen to turn on sometimes other times a couple of seconds, if so has anyone found a fix for this other than wait for 233. Ps it only happens when swipe or security enabled for lock screen. With option none all works ok
Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone is having similar issues. Issue 1 is when I am on a call and I have it on speaker and lay the phone on the table the screen repeatedly turns itself on. I hit the power button, it shuts and immediately turns itself back on. Anyone know the cause of this and how to fix? Issue 2 is using Spotify and songs stuttering for a second when I do anything. If I am listening to a song and I hit the power button the song stutters, if I hit the home button to open another app the song stutters, if I hit the back button to go back a page or close an app the song stutters. Anyone know what could cause that and a possible solution? Thanks!

So there is no fix, it's just a workaround? That's very annoying especially on conference calls for work, when you want to mute and unmute yourself you have to unlock the phone and open the dialer to get back to the call to be able to mute...ugh
When opening google maps, and then going to recent apps to do split screen through the icon, does anyone get the bug where the screen just goes blank and sits? I am having this bug. The only way to get out of it is to hit the power button and unlock the phone again.
Works fine here
Just tried it and it is working for me ok.
