Hello...sorry for what I'm sure is an obvious question .. when starting rom manager it says I need clockwork recovery installed... do I want the cmda version? I was looking for LTE as an option but don't see it. Thanks

Yes, you want the CDMA version. Your phone is CDMA.

Have to be coming from cm9 or aokp first, then flash in cwm like normal, follow instructions in the installer. If you're rotation is backwards flash this

Mine didn't need this, others have.

i have just recently rooted my phone and i want to get into all the rom management but i really dont want to flash a bad rom and brick my phone, so i was wondering if any of you have used cyanogenmod on your tmobile samsung galaxy s4 sgh-m919 and could give me the okay that its a safe rom to use.
Thank you !!
It's a functional ROM.
There's always a risk with flashing any ROM, the more you know, the less the risk.

It's a very nice ROM. If you are looking for AOSP ROM, give the Virgin ROM a try. I've used both and both are rock solid. Here is the link for Virgin ROM

You need to research and learn to do it correctly to avoid problems but in answer to your question, there is a version of cyanogenmod for the SGH-M919 variant and it works just fine. I am currently using a touchwiz rom but one of my good friends had been on cyanogenmod for 2 months now and won't use anything else.

You can only flash roms that are meant for your device, there are a few multi-carrier roms but they don't always work so stick to the sprint section.
