[Q] Any way to port over themes from other Galaxy S phones?

Not sure if this has been posted yet but is it possible to port this over? I believe it was ported over to the Vibrant here in the states but not sure about it working on the Epic, being 4G and keyboard and all...

Cool deal dude, loved what you did with the blue minimalism theme and how it set the blueprint for the green minimalism theme! Hope you can get this to port on over to our side of things.

Does that offer go to me as well? I have done some theming for the moment and actually just used your dialer buttons in my current Epic project last night. Could always use a good resource for help and you seem to have good knowledge from my perusing of other phone themes.

Can you please keep working on this, cuz I think the other dude(thomasskull) just meant attempting to flash the current one (which does not work) instead of actually doing the port himself lol, i think....and if that is the case, please port this over, especially if its something you can accomplish fairly easily

It shouldn't be very hard its just time consuming. I don't mind spending the time but there's no sense in two people doing it. I was just taking him at his word that he was porting it. Let's see if he responds and let's us know what he's doing.

Its not that hard or time consuming considering how much I'm on my phone but I themed a launcher, dialer, contacts, vending, gtalk, calculator, tw framework and framework today.. All while taking the time out if my day to talk with tmo for 2.5 hours about how their service sucks...

Agreed I just don't want to waste my time if someone else is already doing it. When I get home from work I might just give it a go anyways.

Cool...you guys are awesome and if there is anything I can do, like testing or something, please let me know

Just about done. Had to make a few custom images as this wasn't meant for 4g or the extra battery steps we have. Should be up tonite sometime but will need to be flashed over a deodexed rom, no compatability guarantees.

Yes its pretty close. That is what im using now. I have taken some things out of the theme i requested and put them into it so im very close. Its more the xda app and the gingerbread keyboard from that theme that im looking for now. I tried just installing the apk's but no go for me.

No its not lol its very different the only thing close is the color BLUE lol
I was going to ask for this to get ported as well but i never ended up doing it because i forgot lol i saw this about 2 weeks ago

once you take the pull down menu and the status bar icons from it its similal. I would still love to see it ported though!

Theme Porting - Taking Requests!

Hello GUIse & Girls
As you may know I have been working on the Black Android Theme for the SGSII for a few months & it's near completion! (Just some minor bugs to iron out) So, I now need another project to go onto (Theme Wise). So, if you have a specified theme you want me to port for my next project let me know in this thread.
The Black Android theme was a huge success and I thank Pele for letting me work with him on his theme. So, let the replies begin!
Also, after all the suggestions have been put forward, I will be putting up a poll and the winning poll will be ported then this thread will be locked until I've finished then it starts again, deal? Good.
P.S. I'm also helping out Rixsta with the NeonGT theme by porting that to current ROM's.

That's already been completed and fixed. We're awaiting feedback from MoD85 to odex the theme to work on Revolution. My work there is done

inexus theme please

Revolution theme from manup456 in the Evo 4g forums. One of the best theme but got left out until cm6.0 only.
I'll give a link later if you cant find it. Or the zip file if you need. But a quick search should do it since it was really popular.

don't wanna high-jack the thread, but i'm also taking port requests. specifically from SGS1 though, and non-AOSP.
MattedBlues is an AOSP one and is something i'd be willing to do once CM7 is more stable for our device.

Galaxy Nexus theme

So was just watching a video from Sassi Bob on here and it looked like she was using the T-Mobile GSII and it appeared to have the Nexus Prime theme. Had anyone else seen this or checked this out? It looked pretty cool for the limited time that I saw it.

it's the Galaxy Nexus theme for CM7 from our local members in the android section of the forum

i'm using it on my Nexus S
it looks like the real deal without having ICS installed
it's a full theme, colors, animations, everything!
there's the extra wall papers and icons you can download from his topic, to make it even more complete, if you use 3rd party launchers

Wait, won't we need CM7 running on our devices for this to work? Or will this work on the stock ROM with root?
I've only had the phone for 24 hours but from what I've read we still don't have a CM7 ROM ported for this particular device yet. Am I wrong?

Im gonna port it to work on a stock rooted rom of your choice. It wont be cm7 but will look like it.

You all know i am here for you, from answering questions to porting themes to doing one off touches per requests... And don't get me wrong, i am more then happy to help out and do what i can for everyone... On the other hand, id like to make time to do my own work... I cant do that if i am always flashing roms to port themes to flash back to mod another theme, to flash another rom to update another theme because said rom updated... Circle of life, i am just going to end up chasing my tail here...
Thank you ALL for your support, as a lone themer its nice to have the community backing... I am part of teamkang, but i theme alone as the other members run the Nexus... Its awesome for them, and maybe one day when Samsung shows us love and source we can run AOKP... For now, i am happy to be here for everyone...

But I would like to have the wi-fi icon from AOSP and have the signal bars match the blue from your sensation 3 theme for Darkside and when not connected to google servers be the color they are now when connected to the google servers.
